Zusammenfassung Die Struktur desp-Brombenzoates des Benzilsäureumlagerungsproduktes von 3, 17-Diacetoxy-11-hydroxy-12-oxo-5-9(11)-androsten wurde durch dreidimensionale Röntgenstrukturanalyse eines Einkristalls als 3-p-Brombenzoat des 11-Carboxy-3, 11, 17-trihydroxy-13-C-nor-5-androstan 11a, 17-Laktons erkannt.

Zusammenfassung Bei der karyologischen Analyse von Metaphasen in Knochenmark, Cornea und andern Geweben des indischen Meerschweinchens,Cavia porcellus (7 , 3 ) wurde festgestellt, dass drei männliche Individuen in einem autosomalen Chromosom heterozygot waren. Das Chromosom wird als Marker III bezeichnet.

Zusammenfassung Der Pyrimidinbedarf derNeurospora crassa-Mutante Pyr-1 (263) kann durch alle beim reduktiven Abbau des Uracils durchlaufenen Zwischenprodukte, mit Ausnahme des -Alanins, zum Teil befriedigt werden, nämlich durch -Ureidopropionsäure, Dihydrouracil und Uracil. WildwachsendeNeurospora speichert nach Zulage von Uridin in der Nährlösung -Ureidopropionsäure und Dihydrouracil, aber nicht bei Abwesenheit von Uridin. Aus diesen Feststellungen folgt, dass der reduktive Umbau des Uracils je nach den Konzentrationsverschiebungen in der Nährlösung im aufbauenden oder im abbauenden Sinne verlaufen kann.

Conclusions The decrease of circulating blood volume, resulting in oligemic hypotension, may evoke in anaesthetized cat the active constrictory coronary vessel responses of 2 types, one occuring immediately after start of the hypotension and the other having a significantly prolonged latency.
