In this paper, the authors study the existence and non-existence of positive solutions for singular p-Laplacian equation −∆ p u = f(x)u −α + λg(x)u β in R N ; where N ≥ 3, 1 < p < N, λ > 0, 0 < α < 1, max(p, 2) < β + 1 < p* = \fracNpN - p \frac{{{N_p}}}{{N - p}} . We prove that there exists a critical value ¤ such that the problem has at least two solutions if 0 < λ < Λ; at least one solution if λ = Λ; and no solutions if λ > Λ.  相似文献

Pulse vaccination is an effective and important strategy to eradicate an infectious disease. The authors investigate an SEIRS epidemic model with two delays and pulse vaccination. By using the discrete dynamical system determined by stroboscopic map, the authors obtain that the infectious population dies out if R△ 〈 1, and the infectious population is uniformly persistent if R^△ 〉 1. The results indicate that a short period of pulse vaccination or a large pulse vaccination rate is a sufficient condition to eradicate the disease.  相似文献

Complexity measures for keystream multisequences over Z/(N) play a crucial role in designing good stream cipher systems. This correspondence shows a general upper bound on k-error joint N-adic complexity of periodic multisequences over Z/(N), and establishes the existence of periodic N-adic multisequences over Z/(N) which simultaneously possess maximal joint N-adic complexity and large k-error joint N-adic complexity. Under some conditions the overwhelming majority of all T-periodic N-adic multisequences over Z/(N) with maximal joint N-adic complexity log N (N T ? 1) have a k-error joint N-adic complexity close to log N (N T ? 1).  相似文献

In this paper, the authors first show that if R 0 ≤ 1, the infection free steady state is globally attractive by using approaches different from those given by Min, et al.(2008). Then the authors prove that if R 0 > 1, the endemic steady state is also globally attractive. Finally, based on a patient’s clinical HBV DNA data of anti-HBV infection with drug lamivudine, the authors establish an ABVIM. The numerical simulations of the ABVIM are good in agreement with the clinical data.  相似文献

On the basis of several new concepts, such as, the relationship flow and the basic level of a network, and by applying the Structural Theory of General Systems, this article conducts a study of the relationships and their laws between the relationship flows, including information flows, matter flows, energy flows, fund flows, personnel flows, and so on, and the behavior or function of a network, and mathematically obtains two theorems, namely the network's relationship flow-behavior theorem 1 and 2. It then proposes a new model of networks, called the relationship flow-behavior model of networks, which shows that for a network, its behavior or function is determined and governed only by its input flow Rf(t) and relationship flow set Rfnb(t) on its so-called basic level Hb, that is, its total relationship flows TRf(t)= Rf(t) ∪ Rfnb(t), especially by the relationship flow cycle(s) in TRf(t). By a further mathematical study of the model, it can be expected to obtain a series of inherent relationships and their laws between the relationship flows and the behavior or function of a network, as well as their derivates, for example, the issues, ideas, theories, methods, approaches, and tools of network research, which would make significant contributions to the advancement of network research.  相似文献

Petroleum is a kind of fundamental energy resource. Its price fluctuation transmits from upper-stream industry to the lower-stream industry as the production factors price changes. And this leads to the price changes of final consumption. Meantime, due to the cycle of industrial chain, the price changes of lower-stream industry also affect the upper-stream industry in return. This price transmission path is quite complicated. Firstly, it includes both direct and indirect paths; secondly, the transmission process is accompanied with time delay. The traditional input-output price model based on cost-push theory can efficiently solve the first problem when estimating the impact of price fluctuation on the whole price system. However, it neither reflects the dynamic characteristics of price transmission with time nor solves the second problem. To solve this problem, this paper uses the directed weighted network to describe the price transmission among industrial sectors by taking the time-dimension into account, and dynamic price transmission network model is constructed. This model not only describes transmission time delay more accurately, but also calculates the price fluctuation dynamically. On this basis, by utilizing the 2007 Chinese input-output table, this paper conducts empirical analysis on the impact of petroleum price fluctuation on other sectors. The empirical results indicate that the price fluctuation transmission mainly depends on two factors, the orice reaction period Tk and the consumption relationship with petroleum aik. 1) If t 〈 Tk, then the price change of sector k at period t △pkt = 0, the petroleum price fluctuation has not transmitted to the sector k, so the price of sector k remains unchanged. 2) If t 〉 Tk, then Apt 〉 0, and the greater aik, the higher price change rate. 3) If t →∞, it is the same with that in traditional input-output price model. So it can be clearly seen that dynamic price transmission network model is more general than the traditional model, and the traditional model is just an asymptotical special case when time approaches to infinity. In this paper, an HIV dynamics model with two distributed intracellular delays incorporating Crowley-Martin functional response infection rate is investigated. The authors take into account multiple stage disease transmission and the latently infected cells (not yet producing virus) in our system. The authors consider nonnegativity, boundedness of solutions, and global asymptotic stability of the system. By constructing suitable Lyapunov functionals and using the Lyapunov-LaSalle invariance principle, the authors prove the global stability of the infected (endemic) equilibrium and the diseasefree equilibrium for time delays. The authors have proven that if the basic reproduction number R0 is less than unity, then the disease-free equilibrium is globally asymptotically stable, and if R0 is greater than unity, then the infected equilibrium is globally asymptotically stable. The results obtained show that the global dynamic behaviors of the model are completely determined by the basic reproduction number R0 and that the time delay does not affect the global asymptotic properties of the model.  相似文献

This paper addresses a dynamic lot sizing problem with bounded inventory and stockout where both no backlogging and backlogging allowed cases are considered. The stockout option means that there is outsourcing in a period only when the inventory level at that period is non-positive. The production capacity is unlimited and production cost functions are linear but with fixed charges. The problem is that of satisfying all demands in the planning horizon at minimal total cost. We show that the no backlogging case can be solved in ) O(T 2) time with general concave inventory holding and outsourcing cost functions where T is the length of the planning horizon. The complexity can be reduced to O(T) when the inventory holding cost functions are also linear and have some realistic properties, even if the outsourcing cost functions remain general concave functions. When the inventory holding and outsourcing cost functions are linear, the backlogging case can be solved in O(T 3logT) time whether the outsourcing level at each period is bounded by the sum of the demand of that period and backlogging level from previous periods, or only by the demand of that period.  相似文献

In this paper, sequence unique reconstruction refers to the property that a sequence is uniquely reconstructable from all its K-tuples. We propose and study the phase transition behavior of the probability P(K) of unique reconstruction with regard to tuple size K in random sequences (iid model). Based on Monte Carlo experiments, artificial proteins generated from lid model exhibit a phase transition when P(K) abruptly jumps from a low value phase (e.g. 〈 0.1) to a high value phase (e.g. 〉 0.9). With a generalization to any alphabet, we prove that for a random sequence of length L, as L is large enough, P(K) undergoes a sharp phase transition when p ≤ 0.1015 where p = P (two random letters match). Besides, formulas are derived to estimate the transition points, which may be of practical use in sequencing DNA by hybridization. Concluded from our study, most proteins do not deviate greatly from random sequences in the sense of sequence unique reconstruction, while there are some "stubborn" proteins which only become uniquely reconstructable at a very large K and probably have biological implications.  相似文献

This paper studies the following cooperative investment game with two agents. At the start of the game, both the agents’ capital are collected. The total capital are then invested according to a certain trading strategy. At a certain time T 0 one agent quits the cooperation and they divide the wealth among themselves. During the remaining period [T 0, T], the other agent invests his/her capital following a possibly different trading strategy. By stochastic optimization method combined with the theory of Backward Stochastic Differential Equations (BSDEs, for short), we give an equivalent characterization of the Pareto optimal cooperative strategies.  相似文献

This paper considers partial function linear models of the form Y =∫X(t)β(t)dt + g(T)with Y measured with error. The authors propose an estimation procedure when the basis functions are data driven, such as with functional principal components. Estimators of β(t) and g(t) with the primary data and validation data are presented and some asymptotic results are given. In this paper, under the constraint that the average distance and the average degree (k) remain approximately constant, we studied a random scale-free network model. We found that, if the network maintains the form of its degree distribution and the maximal degree kc is N-dependent cutoff function kc(N)〈 N, the degree distribution would be approximately power-law with an exponent between 2 and 3. The distribution exponent has little relationship with the average degree, denoted by (k). The diameter constraint can be interpreted as an environmental selection pressure, which could explain the scale-free nature of networks. The numerical results indicate that, under the diameter constraint, the preferential attachment can produce the cutoff function kc(N)〈 N and power-law degree distribution.  相似文献

The clustering coefficient C of a network, which is a measure of direct connectivity between neighbors of the various nodes, ranges from 0 (for no connectivity) to 1 (for full connectivity). We define extended clustering coefficients C(h) of a small-world network based on nodes that are at distance h from a source node, thus generalizing distance-1 neighborhoods employed in computing the ordinary clustering coefficient C = C(1). Based on known results about the distance distribution Pδ(h) in a network, that is, the probability that a randomly chosen pair of vertices have distance h, we derive and experimentally validate the law Pδ(h)C(h) ≤ c log N / N, where c is a small constant that seldom exceeds 1. This result is significant because it shows that the product Pδ(h)C(h) is upper-bounded by a value that is considerably smaller than the product of maximum values for Pδ(h) and C(h). Extended clustering coefficients and laws that govern them offer new insights into the structure of small-world networks and open up avenues for further exploration of their properties.  相似文献
