Summary The combined application of psoralen and UVA radiation to skin grafts induced a prolongation of the survival time of the grafts in mice. This was observed using the H-Y barrier, an allogeneic barrier without H-2 disparities, and a strong H-2 incompatible barrier. The effect is probably due to a reduction of antigen-presenting cells, or to other, unknown mechanisms.  相似文献

Zusammenfassung Injektion von131I-Lipiodol oder111Ag-Kolloid beim Kaninchen in ein Ohrlymphgefäss verzögert die Abstossung eines Hautlappen-Hormotransplantes am Ohre wesentlich. Bei der Untersuchung der Verteilung intralymphatisch verabreichter Radioisotopen in den einzelnen Geweben wurde festgestellt, dass etwa 50% des111Ag-Kolloids, aber unter 10% des131I-Lipiodols von den regionären Lymphknoten aufgenommen wird und dass Lipiodol hauptsächlich im Lungengewebe, Ag-Kolloid in der Leber gespeichert wird.  相似文献

Résumé Des souris ayant subi un traitement journalier au PHA, entrepris 4 jours avant l'implantation de cellules leucémiques L1210 on survécu plus longtemps que celles qui furent traitées au sel. Le traitement journalier entrepris 24 h après l'inoculation de cellules leucémiques n'a pas eu d'effet sur la durée de survie. Par le traitement au PHA combiné à la 6-mercaptopurine, la durée de vie fut plus longue que par celui que l'on obtint avec d'autres agents employés isolément. Un mécanisme proposé pour l'effet antileucémique de PHA est discuté.

Summary A high percentage of squamous cell carcinomas were induced in the skin of Swiss-Webster mice by repeated topical application of ethylnitrosourea, indicating that this nitrosamide possesses a potent carcinogenic action when topically applied.Acknowledgments. Zusammenfassung Das Überleben der von der eigenen Mutter und von stammesfremden «Ammen» gesäugten Jungen wurde untersucht an Mäusen der Stämme AKR/Sp, PL/Sp und C57BL/Sp. Die Ergebnisse zeigen, dass die genetische Herkunft der Säuglinge wie auch andere, nicht genetisch bedingte Einflüsse der Mutter auf die Jungen in utero für das Überleben der Jungen ausschlaggebend ist.

Summary Wound trauma-induced survival from radiation may be related to increased mitosis in hematopoietic cells. This is supported by the cell cycle-dependent drug hydroxyurea, which 1. blocked survival of wounded mice injected 2 or 3 days after 900 rad and 2. reduced the number of endogenous CFU-s in wounded mice injected shortly before 700 rad.Supported by the Armed Forces Radiobiology Research Institute, Defense Nuclear Agency, under Research Work Unit MJ00018.
