Summary Oxygen consumption of gill, brain and muscle tissues ofChanna striatus exhibits a clearcut circadian rhythm with a maximum uptake at 18.00 h. Metasystox exposure decreased the oxygen consumption of all tissues. Maximum reduction is noted in gill followed by brain and muscle. Zusammenfassung Das tagesperiodische Muster des Sauerstoffverbrauches von Drosophilamutanten weist mehr oder weniger grosse Unterschiede zwischen den Geschlechtern auf: von zwei Maxima ist das abendliche bei den Weibchen stärker ausgeprägt als bei den Männchen, bei denen das Morgenmaximum relativ höher ist. Aus Versuchen mit Superweibchen und Intersexen sowie aus Kreuzungsexperimenten scheint hervorzugehen, dass das Verhältnis vonX-Chromosomen zu Autosomen bei der Ausprägung der beiden Maxima eine Rolle spielt.  相似文献

Summary Circadian rhythms of catecholamines were investigated in 4 healthy subjects and in 6 patients suffering from an apallic syndrome. The clinical picture of this syndrome is characterized by disturbed consciousness (coma vigile), by suspension of the sleeping and waking rhythm, by lack of emotional reactions and by appearance of primitive motor patterns. 5 of the 6 apallic patients showed an abolished rhythmicity compared with the control group. These results were interpreted as an indication that endogenous, centrally controlled processes are the cause of circadian rhythms.Acknowledgments. Zusammenfassung Eine Circadianrhythmik des Mäuseleberglycogens lässt sich durch Standardisierung anderer biologischer Frequenzen und «Lärm» isolieren. Dies gelingt auch nach Entzug von Futter oder Futter und Wasser. Persistente Rhythmen mit grosser Amplitude kennzeichnen eine Reihe physiologischer Funktionen nach Futter- und Flüssigkeitsentzug und können als Chossatphänomene bezeichnet werden.
