Zusammenfassung Antikörper, die entweder mit Fluoresceinisothiocyanat oder mit Peroxidase markiert waren, wurden auf ihre Spezifität im Erkennen von Linsen-Antigenen untersucht. Beide Markierer ergeben gleiche Resultate: die-Kristalline können in den Linsenfaserzellen lokalisiert werden, nicht aber in den Linsenepithelzellen.

Zusammenfassung Aufnahme und Verhalten von35-S-Sulfat wurde in einer Organkultur sich differenzierender Somiten von Hühner-und Mäuse-Embryonen untersucht. Die Vorknorpelzellen zeigten den grössten Isotopeneinbau im Vergleich zu andern mesodermalen Zellen. Nach Vollendung der Knorpeldifferenzierung fand sich das von den Vorknorpelzellen aufgenommene Isotop in der interzellulären Matrix.

Summary Several tetracyclines (minocycline, doxycycline, tetracycline), in levels approximating physiologic concentrations, were found to inhibit parathyroid hormone-induced bone resorption in organ culture; the specificity of this effect was demonstrated by comparison with other (non-tetracycline) types of antibiotics. The ability of tetracyclines to inhibit bone resorption is consistent with the recent proposal by Golub et al2. that these antibiotics can inhibit mammalian collagenolytic enzymes by a mechanism unrelated to the drug's antibacterial efficacy, a property which could be therapeutically useful in diseases characterized by excessive collagen breakdown. 相似文献

In this system nonadherent organ culture can be performed for at least 50 days. Cell migration, biochemical and morphological differentiation and the formation of a layered architecture seem to mimic some of the phenomena occurring in the developing rat brain in vivo. Cystic kidneys from the mutant CPK strain of C57BL/6J mice were cultured in serum-free organ culture. During 120 h of incubation in chemically-defined medium, CPK cystic tubular changes underwent complete regression.
