The present study examined the contributions of age, verbal ability, arithmetic ability, working memory, and executive function (EF) to the development of theory of mind (ToM). The results showed that age, arithmetic ability, working memory, and EF were significant predictors of the development of ToM, while verbal ability did not. And results from the hierarchical regression analysis suggested that, compared to EF, arithmetic ability and working memory were more important in predicting the development of ToM.

How to control and prevent atherosclerosis （AS） remains a global issue that needs to be deeply dis- cussed. The innovation concept of AS and coronary heart disease （CHD） in western medicine provides a good opportunity to develop the traditional Chinese medicine etiology and new control strategies accordingly. This arti- cle reviewed and refined the updated control strategies of AS of CHD integrated Chinese and western medicine based on the innovation concept and therapeutic guideline of AS and CHD during the last 10 years.
