Shenius anomalus (Shen, 1935 Shen, CJ. 1935. On some new and rare crabs of the families Pinnotheridae, Grapsidae and Ocypodidae from China. Chin J Zool., 1: 1940. 15 figures [Google Scholar]) has previously been assigned to the Macrophthalmidae Dana, 1851, and the Camptandriidae Stimpson, 1858 Serène, R. 1974. Note on the genera and species of the Camptandriinae Stimpson, 1858 (Decapoda, Brachyura: Ocypodidae). Treubia, 28(3): 59117.  [Google Scholar]. A close examination of adult and first stage zoeal morphology confirms some previous suggestions that S. anomalus is actually an anomalous member of the Dotillidae Stimpson, 1858 Serène, R. 1974. Note on the genera and species of the Camptandriinae Stimpson, 1858 (Decapoda, Brachyura: Ocypodidae). Treubia, 28(3): 59117.  [Google Scholar]. However, because a number of distinctive features distinguish it from all other dotillid genera a new subfamily Sheniinae is established.  相似文献

The monotypic centipede genus Prionopodella Verhoeff, 1925 Verhoeff, K. W. 1925. Results of Dr. E. Mjöberg's Swedish scientific expeditions to Australia 1910–1913. 39. Chilopoda.. Arkiv för Zoologi, 26A: 162.  [Google Scholar] has until now been known only from the types of its type species, collected in Queensland, Australia, nearly a century ago. The female gonopods of Prionopodella were described as having a uniquely tripartite structure, viewed as primitive relative to the bipartite gonopod of all other Scutigeromorpha. An articulation in the syntelopodite is present in one syntype, but new specimens from central eastern Queensland show an, at most, incompletely jointed or entirely unjointed syntelopodite, as in other scutigeromorphs. Cladistic analysis of morphological characters including Prionopodella and the likewise monotypic Australian genus Prothereua Verhoeff, 1925 Verhoeff, K. W. 1925. Results of Dr. E. Mjöberg's Swedish scientific expeditions to Australia 1910–1913. 39. Chilopoda.. Arkiv för Zoologi, 26A: 162.  [Google Scholar], shows Prionopodella to nest within Thereuoneminae, allied to other Asian/Australian genera, rather than in a basal position within Scutigeromorpha as is implied by Verhoeff's theory about primitive gonopod structure.  相似文献

Five species of the parasitic isopod genus Dactylokepon are described from brachyuran crabs and a scyllarid shrimp collected in Chinese waters. Four species are first recorded from this region, D. richardsonae Stebbing, 1910 Stebbing, T. R. R. 1910. Isopod from the Indian Ocean and British East Africa.. In addition, one species is new to science, D. barbuladigitus n. sp. infesting Liagore rubromaculata (De Haan). Six brachyuran crabs are reported for the first time as hosts of bopyrids. The new species is distinguished from other species of Dactylokepon in having a prominent trifid frontal lamina and a distinct digitate barbula.  相似文献

Ten species, four new to science, five formerly belonging to genus Typhlotanais, and Peraeospinosus pushkini (Tzareva, 1982 Tzareva, L. A. 1982. “Dopolnenie k faune kleshnienosnykh oslikov (Crustacea: Tanaidacea) shelfovykh zon Antarktiki i Subantarktiki.”. In Fauna i raspredelenie rakoobraznych notal'nych i antarkticheskikh vod, Edited by: Kavanov, A. I. 119Vladivostok: Akademia Nauk SSSR.  [Google Scholar]) are congeneric species, based on the following set of characters: a row of setae is present on the dorsal margin of the cheliped carpus, the distal seta of pereopods 4–5 exceeds the bifurcated unguis, large prickly tubercles on pereopods 4–6 surrounded by well‐calcified spines, the pleopods semi‐elliptical, and the rami of the uropod subequal in length. The new definition of the genus is proposed together with a key for identification of the females. The present‐day distribution of the genus does not in itself indicate geographical origin, although the possibility of a deep‐water origin cannot be excluded. It is assumed that phylogenetically young, blind Peraeospinosus could have colonized Antarctic free niches and then radiated.  相似文献

Images of adults and illustrations of genitalia of the new species and the redescribed species are provided. A checklist and a key to the known Chinese species are presented, along with a map showing the distribution of these species.  相似文献

This paper contributes to the knowledge of the family Zerconidae, describing material collected from several locations in Croatia. Seventeen species are listed, four of them (Prozercon martae sp. nov., Zercon danyii sp. nov., Zercon laczii sp. nov. and Zercon lanceolatus sp. nov.) proved to be new to science, a further eight species (Zercon arcuatus Trägårdh, 1931 Trägårdh, I. 1931. Recently the two Antarctic gorgonian species Stenella (Dasystenella) liouvillei Gravier, 1913 Gravier, CH. 1913. Seconde Expédition Antarctique Française (1908–1910). Alcyonaires (2° note préliminaire). Bull Mus Nat Hist Nat. Paris, 19: 589593.  [Google Scholar] and Thouarella abies Broch, 1965 Broch, H. 1965. Some octocorals from Antarctic Waters. Scientific Results of the “Brategg” Expedition, 1947–48. Christensens Hvalfangstmus i Sandejford Publ., 26: 1938.  [Google Scholar] were synonymized and considered as Fannyella (Scyphogorgia) liouvillei. The re-examination of the type material of both species and newly collected specimens demonstrate that this synonym can no longer be considered valid. In the present study we propose, following the International Code of Zoological Nomenclature, to change the current type species of the subgenus Scyphogorgia, Stenella liouvillei, to Thouarella abies, the new combination being Fannyella (Scyphogorgia) abies. Furthermore we propose a new genus, Scopaegorgia, to accommodate Stenella liouvillei. Both species are completely re-described from the type material and the abundant specimens collected during some recent Antarctic cruises.  相似文献

The flabelligerid genus Flabelliderma Hartman, 1969 Hartman, O. 1969. Atlas of the sedentariate polychaetous Annelids from California, 812Los Angeles: University of Southern California, Allan Hancock Foundation.  [Google Scholar] is redefined and its type species is re‐established. In comparison with Flabelligera Sars, 1829 Sars, M. 1829. Bidrag til Söedyrenes Naturhistorie; Förste Hæfte, 60Bergen: Dahl.  [Google Scholar], the diagnostic features include the fusion of papillae forming tubercles, often adhering sediment particles, and notopodial lobes forming large ovoid lobes. Four species are described and presented as new combinations, and three others were previously undescribed; thus the species included are F. papillosa (Essenberg, 1922 Essenberg, C. E. 1922.
