Error analysis and characterization of new MEMS IMU sensors and integration with PPP

Several new MEMS Inertial Measurement Unit(IMU) sensor products have been released recently with improved performance,which have the potential to support much higher precision applications.New MEMS IMUs include the NavChip from InterSense,the Nav440 from Crossbow,the Landmark30/40 from GTI,the SDI500 from Systron Donner.Since they are new in the market,currently there is limited information about their error characterization which however is important for the construction of proper error models for their integration with other sensors such as GPS.This paper will investigate the error characterization of two new MEMS IMU sensors,namely the NavChip and Nav440,using Allan variance technique.In addition to identifying different error terms,different stochastic error modeling methods,such as Gauss-Markov(GM) and Autoregressive(AR) processes,will also be investigated to assess the MEMS IMU sensor biases.Investigation to integrate new MEMS IMU sensors with Precise Point Positioning(PPP) will also be conducted to address the re-convergence issues.

Amplifying quantum signals with the single-electron transistor

Transistors have continuously reduced in size and increased in switching speed since their invention in 1947. The exponential pace of transistor evolution has led to a revolution in information acquisition, processing and communication technologies. And reigning over most digital applications is a single device structure--the field-effect transistor (FET). But as device dimensions approach the nanometre scale, quantum effects become increasingly important for device operation, and conceptually new transistor structures may need to be adopted. A notable example of such a structure is the single-electron transistor, or SET. Although it is unlikely that SETs will replace FETs in conventional electronics, they should prove useful in ultra-low-noise analog applications. Moreover, because it is not affected by the same technological limitations as the FET, the SET can approach closely the quantum limit of sensitivity. It might also be a useful read-out device for a solid-state quantum computer.     

英国《数字经济法》及对我国数字版权立法的启示

2010年英国议会通过《数字经济法》,将英国通信管制机构的管制范围由传统媒体扩大到互联网等新媒体,并对在线版权侵权、与互联网域名注册相关的权利等作了规定,但部分条款推迟至2014年执行。虽然《数字经济法》因制定过程比较仓促,相关条款与欧盟一些法令存在冲突,但其在数字版权保护领域所做的努力仍能为我国的数字版权立法提供借鉴。

对X射线衍射分析技术课程的实验教学内容及所开设的实验进行了研究与探讨,通过衍射分析系列实验,使学生了解X射线衍射分析技术的应用范围,掌握其基本的表达方式与分析方法,学会正确分析基本的XRD衍射图谱,获得准确的材料结构信息,为学生今后从事材料研究与开发打下坚实的基础。     

The definition analyses of radiation temperature measurement area

In the research of primary spectrum pyrometry, this paper discussed the definition problem of radiation temperature measurement area based on the measurement coordinates. For the linear spectrum emissivity model and improved monotonic spectrum emissivity model, the characteristics of radiation temperature measurement area restricted by the measurement coordinates were theoretically analyzed, through the investigations of the temperature and emissivity coordinate axes. Choosing the specific primary spectrum pyrometer as an example in applications, the theoretical area of radiation temperature measurement of this pyrometer was given and it was verified through blackbody experiments. The discussions of this paper will provide the necessary foundation for the theory research development of primary spectrum pyrometry and the realization of technical applications.     

关于g-上鞅的上穿不等式和强g-上鞅(Ⅱ)

继续研究了g-上鞅的收敛定理，右连续修正以及其他性质，得出g-上鞅的右连续修正样本是强g-上鞅。章的讨论与结果在连续的情形已证实可应用于g-上鞅的非线性Doob-Meyer分解的讨论，及不完全金融市场的期权定价及经济理论的效用函数的讨论中。因此，在带跳情形，也将可有类似应用。     

辐射测温区域的界定分析

文章讨论了谱色测温系统研究中,基于测温坐标系的辐射测温区域的界定问题。以线性发射率模型以及改进的单调发射率模型为基础,通过测温坐标系标尺的考察,分析了不同光谱发射率模型下的辐射测温坐标系所限定的辐射测温有效区域的规律特征;以实际应用中特定的谱色测温仪器为例,给出该仪器适用的辐射测温的理论区域,并用黑体实验进行了验证。

Building distributed web GIS: a mobile-agent based approach

The diversity of GISs and the wide-spread availability of WWW have led to an increasing amount of research on integrating a variety of heterogeneous and autonomous GISs in a cooperative environment to construct a new generation of GIS characterizing in open architecture, distributed computation, interoperability, and extensibility. Our on-going research project MADGIS (Mobile Agent based Distributed Geographic Information System) is reported, in which we propose the architecture of MADGIS to meet the requirements of integrating distributed GIS applications under Internet environment. We first describe the architecture of MADGIS, and detailed discussions focusing on the structure of client site, server site and mobile agent in MADGIS. Then we explore key techniques for MADGIS implementation.

互联网络的安全问题限制了许多应用的发展．虚拟专用网络技术则可在公用网络环境中向用户提供类似专用网络的信息传输框架．鉴于目前各种虚拟专用网络产品功能的局限性,尤其是在安全特性和互操作性方面的问题,本文在综合了一些主要厂家产品模型的基础上提出了一个通用的虚拟专用网络的体系结构模型．该模型可作为该项技术今后进一步发展和应用的理论指导,有助于技术的规范化

The origins and the future of microfluidics

The manipulation of fluids in channels with dimensions of tens of micrometres--microfluidics--has emerged as a distinct new field. Microfluidics has the potential to influence subject areas from chemical synthesis and biological analysis to optics and information technology. But the field is still at an early stage of development. Even as the basic science and technological demonstrations develop, other problems must be addressed: choosing and focusing on initial applications, and developing strategies to complete the cycle of development, including commercialization. The solutions to these problems will require imagination and ingenuity.
