Human lymphocytes stimulated in vitro by PHA or PWM incorporate 3H-CdR into DNA, but less well than 3H-TdR. More 3H-CdR is incorporated in populations enriched for T cells. No 3H-CdR is used by cells stimulated by lipopolysaccharides under circumstances in which 3H-TdR is incorporated. We conclude that human T cells and B cells differ in their ability to use 3H-CdR.  相似文献

Résumé Le développement des gonades de souris après une forte incorporation de thymidine-3H, administrée pendant la période de l'oogénèse, a été étudié. Suite à ce traitement les souris femelles sont devenues stériles à l'âge de la puberté et le volume de leurs ovaires, dépourvues de cellules germinales, a fortement diminué. Les mâles traités de la même façon ne semblent pas être stérilisés malgré une diminution du volume de leurs testicules.

Zusammenfassung Der Stoffwechsel des3H-Thymidins in Blut-Leukozyten wurde während langfristiger Inkubation studiert. Die Bedingungen waren dieselben, die gewöhnlich for Chromosomenpräparate angewendet werden. So gelang es, menschliche Leukocyten während 72 Stunden mit H3-markiertem Thymidin zu inkubieren, ohne dass das markierte Thymidin durch die Leukozyt-Thymidin-Phosphorylase zerstört wurde.
