SOME PROBLEMS OF LYAPUNOV METHOD IN LINEAR CONTINUOUS-TIME SYSTEM

In this paper,some problems of Lyapunov method in linear continuous-time systemare discussed.In part 1,some motivations are given.In part 2,in order to get a good estimate ofthe decaying time in the system,the concept of appropriate Lyapunov function is introduced andthe condition of the system is given to guarantee the existence of the appropriate Lyapunov functionAn application of the appropriate Lyapunov function is introduced to give the bound of time varyingperturbation for the stable system.In part 3,some extensions of the Lyapunov asymptotical stabilitytheorem are given,where the condition of the total derivative of the Lyapunov function along thetrajectory of the system can be reduced from negative definiteness to semi-negative definiteness andcommon quadratic forms with some reasonable conditions,the example shows the extensions areinteresting.

针对一类带执行器饱和的仿射非线性系统,提出了一种新型的神经网络自适应控制器的设计方法.该方法基于隐函数定理构造一个静态神经网络以补偿执行器的饱和非线性,并利用Lyapunov理论严格证明了整个闭环系统的跟踪误差、控制器参数以及各个神经网络叔值的一致最终有界陛,可以使系统的跟踪误差收敛到零附近的一个小邻域内.仿真研究表明了提出的控制方法的可行性和有效性.

THE EFFECTS OF MARKET DEPTH ON THE ARRIVAL RATE OF ORDERS

This paper presents a model to describe the dynamic trading process in limit order book. By studying the dynamic pattern of execution probabilities of limit orders with both time and the depth of limit order book, the authors conclude with the following properties： Arrival rates of market buy orders increase as the depth of buy queue in the book increases and decrease as the depth of sell queue increases, and vice versa; similar regularities for the arrival rate of market sell orders; both the arrival rate of market buy order and market sell orders increase as the depth of both sides in the book increases by the same amount. Furthermore the authors describe more detailed temporary and permanent effects of the market depth on the arrival rates of orders.

BLOW-UP OF SOLUTIONS OF THE IGNITION MODEL

By use of maximum principle and auxiliary function method, the paper dis-cusses the blow-up sets of the solutions of the ignition model in two cases. It is obtained that the solutions blow up in single point in nonsymmetric case and that the solutions blow up totally or at a couple of points in symmetric case.     

THE EQUILIBRIA OF THE SIZE STRUCTURED POPULATION MODEL

In this paper the existence and stability of the positive equilibrium of the size-structured population model are proved by Rabinowitz‘s theorem and the local linearization method.The result here shows that near the bifurcation point where a branch of positive equilibria appears,the stability of the positive equilibrium on the branch is dcpendent on the direction of the bifurcation.The argument for the model of age-structured population is generalized in this paper.
