The α-dual Differential Geometry of Symmetric Nonsingular Matrices

The manifold S ( n ) is explored. The set of all symmetric nonsingular matrices on which a Riemannian metric is defined and dual α -connections are introduced. Furthermore, the α -dual geometric structure is obtained. Finally, an example is given to illustrate our results.     

Global Asymptotic Stability of Neural Networks with Time Delay

The global asymptotic stability problem of Cellular neural networks with delay is investigated.A new stability condition is presented based on Lyapunov-Krasovskii method,which is dependent on the size of delay.The result is given in the form of LMI,and the admitted upper bound of the delay can be obtained easily.The time delay dependent and independent results can be obtained,which include some results in the former literature.Finally,a numerical example is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the main results.

Six-dimensional Hermitian submanifolds of Cayley algebra are considered.It is proved that if such a submanifold of the octave algebta complies with the U-Kenmotsu hypersurfaces axiom,then it is Khlerian.     

An Application of Genetic Algorithm in Positioning Bricks

Sale-leaseback is paid special focus on for its great application in China in recent years.By giving a detailed analysis,an analysis of the features of sale-leaseback and a study of the risks of it are given in this paper.Then a quantitative analysis of commercial real estate sale-leaseback is carried out.The scientific theoretical analysis is provided in this paper for risk assessment in commercial real estate sale-leaseback mode in China.An effective approach is put forward for sale-leaseback project evaluation and prevention of risk.A useful means is given to supervise commerciai real estate sale-leaseback mode for relevant departments and a certain contribution is made to a further sound development of commercial real estate sale-leaseback mode.     

An Optimal Content Caching Framework for Utility Maximization

For desirable quality of service, content providers aim at covering content requests by large network caches. Content caching has been considered as a fundamental module in network architecture. There exist few studies on the optimization of content caching. Most existing works focus on the design of content measurement,and the cached content is replaced by a new one based on the given metric. Therefore, the performance for service provision with multiple levels is decreased. This paper investigates the problem of finding optimal timer for each content. According to the given timer, the caching policies determine whether to cache a content and which existing content should be replaced, when a content miss occurs. Aiming to maximize the aggregate utility with capacity constraint, this problem is formalized as an integer optimization problem. A linear programming based approximation algorithm is proposed, and the approximation ratio is proved. Furthermore, the problem of content caching with relaxed constraints is given. A Lagrange multiplier based approximation algorithm with polynomial time complexity is proposed. Experimental results show that the proposed algorithms have better performance.     

Measurement and AFPS control of molten steel level in strip casting

The measurement and control of the molten steel level are studied, which affect the quality of strip surface in strip casting.A system of molten steel measurement with a CCD (Charge Coupled Devices) sensor is designed, real-time measured data are given and its precision is analyzed. The level fluctuation model is derived, and an adaptive fuzzy-PID controller with supervisory control (AFPS) is proposed. The stability of the system is proved using Lyapunov theorem, and the simulation results are given when the model, the casting speed and the roll gap change. It is suggested that this kind of coupled nonlinear and time varying system is stable and robust using the designed AFPS controller.     

Predictive PI control and its robust stability analysis

It is difficult to analyze robust BIBO stability of predictive PI (PPI) control system due to the time delay of process. A novel technique for stability analysis of this kind of system is proposed in this paper. The state space form of PPI control system is given, and its characteristic polynomial is derived by a simple method, so the robust BIBO stability analysis of this kind of system is also the analysis of corresponding characteristic polynomial. Applying Kharitonov theorem and edge theorem, the BIBO stability can be judged for arbitrarily given process parameter intervals. The system robust stability with variable process parameters is described respectively, and some beneficial conclusions for the design of PPI controller are obtained.

Simulation for a New Real-time Ethernet MAC Protocol

A method for modeling broadcast protocols in OPNET is introduced by illustrating a simulation of a new real-time Ethemet MAC protocol. The details of network models in OPNET are given and the proce-dure in modeling is introduced. Simulation results verify that the protocol is correct and efficient.     

A characterization of Nevanlinna class in the unit ball and its applications

A characterization of a holomorphic function lying in the Nevanlinna class of the unit ball of C n is given. As its application, the boundedness and compactness of the composition operator on the Nevanlinna class are discussed.     

Parameter estimation of sinusoidal signals by using principle of signal matched-phase

A method for estimating frequency, amplitude and phase of a sinusoidal signal is presented based on the principle of signal matched-phase. The formulae for estimating signal parameters are derived, and the algorithm of searching for signal parameters is also given in the case where the signal frequency is unknown. The algorithm is simple and time_saving. The simulation results show that this new method is valid.

Domain Decomposition Method for the Forward-Backward Heat Equation

Theheat equation arises in a remarkable variety of physical applications. A non-overlaping domain decomposition method was constructed to obtain numerical solutions of the forward-backward heat equation. The primary advantage is that the method reduces the computation time tremendously. The convergence of the given method is established. The numerical performance shows that the domain decomposition method is effective.     

Relative damage stress and its application in the case of temperature cycling load

Void damage is the main failure characteristics of constrained ductile metal foil. In order to evaluate the mechanical response of ductile metal under different temperatures, the concept of equivalent damage stress proposed by Lemaitre is modified by temperature normalization. A new concept of relative damage stress is advanced, and in the light of this concept, a reasonable explanation is given to the thermal fatigue life data of solder joints under temperature cycling.     

An Extended Analysis of Requirements Traceability Model

A new extended meta model of traceability is presented. Then, a formalized fine-grained model of traceability is described. Some major issues about this model, including trace units, requirements and relations within the model, are further analyzed. Finally, a case study that comes from a key project of 863 Program is given.     

A LOCAL CONTROLLER BASED CONSTANT TENSION CONTROL SYSTEM

This paper is mainly about a local controller whose main function is to achieve the constant tension of the thin denier filament in the high speed winding process. A mathematic model of the induction motor while controlling its stator frequency and voltage is given. A new kind of variable parameter, real time constant tension control system is presented. The paper uses the microprocessor -INTEL 8097 as the CPU of the local controller. A standard serial communication interface-RS232 is used to communicate with the main computer. Computer simulation and experiment test show that this system has good control characteristics.     

Atomic Electronic Contract Protocol Based on Convertible Signature

A new class of atomicity, namely contract atomicity is presented. A new technical strategy based on convertible signature and two-phase commitment is proposed for implementing atomicity of electronic contract protocol. A new atomic contract signing protocol is given out by using EIGamal like convertible undeniable signature and commitment ofconversion key, and another new atomic contract signing protocol is brought forward by using RSA based convertible undeniable signature scheme and commitment of conversion key. These two new protocols are proved to be of atomicity, fairness, privacy, non repudiation.
