世界高性能计算领域的研究动向

网络与并行计算国际学术会议（IFIP　International　Conference　on　Network　and　Parallel　Compuring，NPC　2004）由国际信息处理联合会IFIP（International　Federation　for　Information　Processing）与华中科技大学、国家自然科学基金委员会、Lecture　Notes　in　Computer　Science联合举办，于2004年10月18日至20日在武汉隆重召开。与会的160多名该领域的知名学者、专家以及企业界重要代表分别来自世界各地20多个国家和地区。     

IFSEA简介

IFSEA(International Federation of Scientmc Ediotrs Associations)是科学编辑协会国际联合会的简称。IFSEA组织筹建于1978年,在第一届国际科学编辑会议之后。1980年第二届国际科学编辑会议上选举产生了该组织的指导委员会。1987年6月,第五届国际科技编辑会议在西德汉堡召开,我国首次参加并被接纳为IFSEA成员国。

2003年8月27-30日，首届国际华人学者“交通科学与工程”学术研讨会(The International Symposium on Transportation Science and Engineering for Global Chinese Scholars)在北京召开。会议由教育部国际合作交流处、国家自然科学基金委员会、北方交通大学资助，北方交通大学承办。中国系统工程学会交通运输系统工程专业委员会、香港交通运输研究会、《交通运输系统工程与信息》杂志社友情支持。

国际科联和国际社科联将合并成立新的国际科学理事会

正10月23—26日,国际科学理事会(简称国际科联)第32届全体大会暨国际科联和国际社科联联合会议在中国台北举行。会议就两组织合并事宜进行了投票表决,国际科联以97.6%、国际社科联以90%的比例同意合并,在2018年正式成立新组织——国际科学理事会(International Science Council)。国际科学理事会会员包括40个国际科学联盟和超过140个国家和地区的科技组织。新组织的愿景是使科学成为全球公共利益,

 美国科学促进联合会（The Ameri-can Association for the Advancementof Science,AAAS,以下简称“科促会”）成立于1848 年,是美国最大的科技工作者团体和非盈利性国际科技组织,下设21 个专业分会,涉及的学科包括自然科学和社会科学的各个方面,现有265 个分支机构和1000 万成员^[1]。科促会第1 届会年于1848 年在美国宾夕法尼亚州的费城举行,170 年以来,该年会已成为世界规模最大的科学会议,汇集世界各国的科技工作者,研讨科技发展新趋势和新挑战。科促会于2016 年2 月11-15日在美国哥伦比亚特区华盛顿市召开了第182 届年会^[2]。
