As well known, the magnetic cross-tail component By in the magnetotail is in direct proportion to the in-terplanetary magnetic field (IMF) By component. And the polarity of IMF and plasmoid / flux rope By components do indeed agree. This results indicate that the IMF By penetrates plasmoids and the magnetic structures must therefore be three-dimensional. In this note, the dynamical processes of magnetotail in the course of a substorm are studied using a MHD code with two-dimensions and three components on the basis of two types of initial equilibrium solutions of the quiet magnetotail. The numerical results of two cases illustrate various features of time evolution of By component that correspond to two kinds of plasmoid-like structures: one is associated with a flux rope core and the other resembles a “closed loop” plamoid. Therefore, the occurrence of various magnetic structures in the magnetotail might be related to nonsteady driven reconnection with different distributions of the By component.  相似文献

Enzyme-catalytic fluorescence determination of artemisinin (qinghaosu, QHS) was developed using pyronine B (PB) as substrate of horseradish peroxidase (HRP). The interaction between HRP and QHS was an enzyme-substrate model. The catalytic characteristic of HRP in the oxidation reaction, in which the fluorescence of PB was decreased in the presence of QHS, was studied. The steady-state catalytic rate depended upon enzyme and substrate concentrations, and the Michaelis-Menten parameters Km, Vmax and Kcat were 8.4×10^-5mol·L^-1, 7.4×10^-6mol·L^-1s^-1 and 50.23s^-1. The catalytic activity of enzyme was inhibited in the presence of deactivated agents and at high temperature, respectively. Under optimum conditions, linear relationship between fluorescence intensity change (F0-F) of pyronine B and concen- tration of QHS was in the range of 1.41×10^-7-1.27×10^-6mol·L^-1. The detection limit (3σ) was determined to be 2.7×10^-8mol·L^-1. The proposed method was applied to the concentration determination of QHS in the media of plasma or urine samples.  相似文献

TC-1 observational results clearly indicate that the velocity of the flows in the near-Earth region is dependent on the satellite location. The flow speed decreases while satellite moves close to the Earth. The plasma flow in the region close to the Earth tends to drift into the midnight region from the dawn and dusk region while the flow in the region away from the Earth shows an opposite drift. The observational results also show that the tailward flows are mainly located in the plasma sheet boundary while the earthward flow becomes dominant in the plasma sheet. It is found that both the strong tailward and earthward flows are distributed in the region around X= -11 Re, which coincides with the trigger region of the substorm onset. Hence, it may suggest that the flows are related with the trigger of the substorm onset. In addition, the BBFs coming from the mid-tail maily distributed in the region where X〈-9R E a n d |Z| 〈 3 R E that differs from the convection.  相似文献

Influence of total aluminum concentration (CAIT) on the generation and transformation of nanosized AI13 and AI30 in hydrolytic polyaluminum aqueous solutions was investigated using high field 27AI NMR and time-developed AI-Ferron complex colorimetry. When prepared at the optimal basicity (B) of Al13 generation and 80℃, the All3 species in polyaluminum solution tends to further polymerize and convert to AI30 and higher polymers when CAI; 〉0.2 mol· L^-1, but Al13 does not convert to AI30 quantificationally, as the formation of Alu from Al13 and AI30 is accelerated in the same way. The conversion rate of All3 is accelerated by the increase in CAIT. When CAlT 〉0.75 mol·.L^-1, Al13 content decreases rapidly, and AI30 content increases continuously and becomes the dominant nanometer polynuclear aluminum species. AIm is one of prerequisites of Al13 conversion to AI30. When CAI; increases and B reduces, the polymerization rate between Al13 and Aim increases, and at the same time, the dissociation reaction rate of All3 and AI30 by H^+ also increases. The latter becomes the dominant reaction in polyaluminum solution with low B value, so AI30 decreases with the increasing CAlT. The hydrolytic polyaluminum solution with Al13 content beyond 80% can only be prepared under the condition of CAlT〈0.5 mol· L^-1 and optimal B value.  相似文献

The motion and deceleration processes of plasma sheet high-speed flows have great significance to magnetospheric particle acceleration,magnetic field perturbation,magnetic flux transport,triggering of substorm,and the current system formation in the magnetotail.From February to April 2009,two satellites of the Time History of Events and Macroscale Interactions during Substorms mission,THA and THE,were often separated largely in Z direction,but had small X and Y separations.Such special configuration allows simultaneous observations of highspeed flows at the center and boundary of the plasma sheet.Based on selected case study and statistical analysis,it is found that for about 89%of the events we selected,the probe further away from the neutral sheet observed the high-speed flow earlier than the one close to the center,and the flow is mainly field aligned.And for about 95%events the probe further away from the neutral sheet observed higher X component of the plasma flow.With the hypothesis that parallel flow keeps the same speed during its earthward propagation while central plasma sheet stream uniformly or suddenly brakes on its way to the earth,we deduced the position where the deceleration begins to be between 13 Re and 17 Re downtail,where thenear-earth reconnection is supposed to occur.In addition,our statistical results show that dipolarization fronts observed in the central plasma sheet are more prominent than those observed in the plasma sheet boundary layer ahead of the high-speed flow.  相似文献

The NUADU (NeUtral Atom Detector Unit) instrument aboard TC-2 recorded 4л solid angle images of charged particles (E >180 keV) spiraling around the magnetic field lines in the near-Earth plasma sheet (at ~ -7 RE, equatorial dawn-to-night side) during a geomagnetic storm (Dst =-219 nT) on August 24, 2005. Energetic ion beam events characterized by symmetrical, ring-like, solid angle distributions around ambient magnetic field lines were observed during a 34-minute traversal of the plasma sheet by the TC-2 spacecraft. Also, observations during these multiple crossings of the plasma sheet were monitored by the magnetometer experiment (FGM) aboard the same spacecraft. During each crossing, a whistler-mode chorus enhancement was observed in the anisotropic area by the TC-2 low frequency electromagnetic wave detector (LFEW/TC-2) at a frequency just above that of the local lower hybrid wave. A comparison of the ion pitch angle distribution (PAD) map with the ambient magnetic field shows that an enhancement in the field aligned energetic ion flux was accompanied by tailward stretching of the magnetic field lines in the plasma sheet. In contrast, the perpendicular ion-flux enhancement was accompanied by a signature indicating the corresponding shrinkage of the magnetic field lines in the plasma sheet. Since both parallel ion-flux and perpendicular ion-flux enhancements occurred intermittently, the data were interpreted to imply a dynamical, oscillatory process of the magnetic field line (stretching and shrinking) in the near-Earth plasma sheet, which might have acted to help establish an interaction region in this area which would support continuous aurora-substorm triggering during the ongoing magnetic storm. The whistler-mode chorus may have been produced due to ion gyro-resonance during particle pitch angle diffusion after the plasma sheet compression.  相似文献

On July 11, 2004, a substorm process in the period of continuous tailward flow was observed by the joint exploration of the TC-1, IMAGE and ACE satellites. The substorm observed by the TC-1 in the near-Earth has three stages: the growth phase (from 11:43 to 12:19), the pre-expansion process (from 12:19 to 12:28) and the dipolarization process. The auroral brightening was at 12:26 recorded by the FUV instrument on IMAGE, and the dipolarization occurred two minutes later. During the 45 min period of the tailward flow, the magnetotail experienced the growth phase and the pre-expansion process. When the dipolarization process began, the TC-1 entered the plasma sheet and observed a high speed earthward flow. The field-aligned tailward flow is characterized by the low temperature and high density, which is consistent with the properties of the flow from the ionosphere detected in the near-Earth magnetotail by other satellites. The tailward flow is closely related with the southward interplanetary magnetic field (IMF), and may have an important effect on the substorm.  相似文献

For the first time, a novel material of La1-x^-TexMnO3 (x = 0.04, 0.1), in which the La ions are replaced by the nonmetal element Te in the Chalcogen, has been synthesized. The material has a rhombohedral lattice with the space group of R 3^- c, and Te ions have a tetravalence state. The curves of the resistivity vs. temperature indicate that this material has the property of a metal-semiconductor transition and the colossal magnetoresistance (CMR) effect. The maximum magnetoreistance ratio MR= [p(0) - p(H)]/p(0) is about 51% at 4 T for x = 0.1. Besides, a spin-glass behavior at low magnetic fields is observed in this compound.  相似文献

Based on the WIND observational data for the plasma waves from thermal noise receptor (TNR) working on the frequency 4-256 kHz and the solar wind and the magnetic fields, we analyze the plasma wave activities in the 60 magnetic cloud's boundary layers (BLs) and find that there are often various plasma wave activities in the BLs, which are different from those in the adjacent solar wind (SW) and the magnetic clouds (MC). The basic characteristics are that: (1) the enhancement of the Langmuir wave near the electronic plasma frequency (fpe) is a dominant wave activity, which occupies 75% investigated samples; (2) the events enhanced both in the langmuir and ion acustic (f〈fpe) waves are about 60% of investigated samples; (3) broadband, continuous enhancement events in the plasma wave activities were observed in the whole frequency band of TNR, and about 30% of the 60 samples, however, were not observed in the SW and the MC investigated events; (4) although the ratio of the temperatures between the electon and proton, Te/Tp ≤1, the ion caustic wave enhancement activities are still often observed in the BLs, which makes it difficult to explain them by the traditional plasma theory. New results reported in this paper further show that the magnetic cloud's BL is an important dynamic structure, which could provide useful diagnosis for understanding the cloud's BL physics and could expand a space developing space plasma wave theory.  相似文献

Degradation of organic matter in the sediments of Hongfeng Reservoir   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
In this work, the distribution of organic carbon, DNA and lipids in the sediments of Hongfeng Reservoir were described in addition to SO4^2- profile in pore water. The contents of organic carbon in the sediments range from 23.3 to 76.8 mg·g^-1, with the peak value appearing at the depth of 8 cm bellow the sediments water interface (SWI), and tend to decrease gradually with sedimentation depth. The concentrations of SO4^2- decreased from 40.50 mg·L^-1 to 12.00 mg·L^-1 at SWI in top 4 cm sediment, and was kept at 12.0 mg·L^-1 bellow that depth. Newly produced organic carbon can be conserved as long as 14 years in the sediments. The contents of DNA were relatively high in top 9 cm surface sediments, as revealed by agarose gel images, close to those of organic carbon and sulphate reduction index (SRI). This study shows that bacteria played an important role in organic matter degradation; SO4^2- is the primary electron acceptor under anaerobic condition in this reservoir; DNA in the lake sediments can provide important information for the study of cycling of nutrient elements in the lake.  相似文献

This paper reported the degradation of 4-CP wastewater by a novel photocatalysis oxidation system-- UV/Fe^2+/air system, in which air was used as a cheap oxidant that reacted with the excitation state of organics to form H2O2 under the UV light. The formed H2O2 reacted with the added ferrous ion to form Fenton reaction and led to the quick degradation of organic pollutants. It was found that 4-CP could be completely removed within 40 min. The degradation of 4-CP in the UV/Fe^2+/air system was superior to the conventional UV/Fenton system (the initial concentration of H2O2 was 22 mg·L^-1). UV/Fe^2+/air is an effective and cheap method for treatment of the organics that can be excited by UV light.  相似文献
