Nanoscale zero-valent iron (nZVI) particles are increasingly being investigated in removing aqueous contaminants. Here, we have demonstrated its inactivation and magnetic removal of bacteria and endotoxins from environmental wastewater samples. Varying dosages (10–1,000 μL) of 0–6 days aged nZVI with a concentration of 5 mg/mL for 2 mL wastewater samples were tested, and relevant removal efficiencies were determined using culturing method for bacteria and limulus amebocyte lysate (LAL) for endotoxins. The supernatants of wastewater samples after reacting with nZVI and subsequent magnetic separations were subjected to spectroscopic, qPCR and DGGE analysis. Overall, high magnetic bacterial removal efficiencies were observed up to 3–4 logs for 1 mL nZVI, while the removal efficiencies decreased sharply down to 0.5 log for 10 μL nZVI. qPCR and DGGE results revealed that higher dosages of nZVI caused severe bacterial cell membrane ruptures, releasing significant amounts of DNA up to 107–108 gene copies/mL when 1 mL nZVI was used. Richer DGGE patterns were observed for higher nZVI dosages. In addition, regardless of the dosages (10–1,000 μL) we have observed more than 90 % removal of endotoxins from the wastewater samples. The described technology has great promise to be used as a point-of-use water purification solution for various purposes.  相似文献

Gangue existing states largely affect the high-temperature characteristics of iron ores. Using a micro-sintering method and scanning electron microscopy, the effects of gangue content, gangue type, and gangue size on the assimilation characteristics and fluidity of liquid phase of five different iron ores were analyzed in this study. Next, the mechanism based on the reaction between gangues and sintering materials was unraveled. The results show that, as the SiO2 levels increase in the iron ores, the lowest assimilation temperature (LAT) decreases, whereas the index of fluidity of liquid phase (IFL) increases. Below 1.5wt%, Al2O3 benefits the assimilation reaction, but higher concentrations proved detrimental. Larger quartz particles increase the SiO2 levels at the local reaction interface between the iron ore and CaO, thereby reducing the LAT. Quartz-gibbsite is more conductive to assimilation than kaolin. Quartz-gibbsite and kaolin gangues encourage the formation of liquid-phase low-Al2O3-SFCA with high IFL and high-Al2O3-SFCA with low IFL, respectively.  相似文献

Hydroxyapatite/alumina nanocrystalline composite powders needed for various biomedical applications were successfully synthesized by sol-gel process. Structural and morphological investigations of the prepared composite powders were performed using X-ray diffractometer (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X’Pert HighScore software, and Clemex Vision image analysis software. The results show that the crystallite size of the obtained composite powders is in the range of 25 to 90 nm. SEM evaluation shows that the obtained composite powders have a porous structure, which is very useful for biomedical applications. The spherical nanoparticles in the range of 60 to 800 nm are embedded in the agglomerated clusters of the prepared composite powders.  相似文献

Chang’E-3 landed on the east of Sinus Iridum area on December 14, 2013, performing China’s first successful soft landing on the lunar surface. We present the results on precision orbit determination and positioning of the lander and the rover. We describe the data, modeling, and methods used to achieve position knowledge over the period December 2–21, 2014. In addition to the radiometric X-band range and Doppler tracking data, delta differential one-way ranging data are also used in the calculation, which show that they strongly improve the accuracy of the orbit reconstruction. Total position overlap differences are about 20 and 30 m for the 100 km × 100 km and 100 km× 15 km lunar orbit, respectively, increased by ~50 % with respect to CE-2 and at the same level as other lunar spacecrafts of recent era such as SELENE and lunar reconnaissance orbiter (LRO). The position error of the soft landing trajectory is less than 100 m. A kinematic statistical method is applied to determine the position of the lander and relative position of the rover with respect to the lander. The position difference of the lander is better than 50 m compared to LRO photograph result. Compared with the delta very long baseline interferometry (VLBI) group delay between the lander and the rover, the delta VLBI phase delay can improve the relative position of the rover from ~1,000 to ~1 m.  相似文献

In this paper, we mainly study the relation of two cyclically reduced words w and w ′on the condi- tion they have the same trace polynomial (i.e., tr w= trw ′). By defining an equivalence relation through such operators on words as inverse, cyclically left shift, and mirror, it is straightforward to get that w ~ w ′ implies tr w = tr w ′. We show by a counter example that tr w = tr w ′ does not imply w ~ w ′. And in two special cases, we prove that tr w = tr w ′ if and only if w ~ w ′.  相似文献

The hot working behavior of near-a titanium alloy IMI 834 with a duplex starting microstructure was studied using the technique of processing map.The processing map was interpreted in terms of the microstrucmral processes occurring during deformation,based on the values of dimensionless parameter η which represents the energy dissipation through microstructural processes.An instability criterion(ξ<0) was also applied to demarcate the flow instability regions in the processing map.Both the parameters(η and ξ) were computed using the experimental data generated by carrying out hot compression tests over a range of temperatures(850-1060℃) and strain rates(3×10-4-1/s).The deterministic domains observed under the investigated temperature and strain rate conditions were attributed to continuous dynamic recrystallization or globularisation of a lamellae,dynamic recrystallization and growth of β grains through microstructural observations.An unified strain compensated constitutive equation was established to describe the hot working behavior of the material in the selected temperature-strain rate range.The established constitutive equation was validated using standard statistical parameters such as correlation coefficient and average absolute relative error.  相似文献

A type of W/Cr co-doped Bi4Ti3O12(ab. Using the solubility method, the solubility of CuCl2 in liquid-undersaturated HCl-bearing water vapor was investigated experimentally at temperatures of 330-370 ℃ and pressures of 4.2-10 MPa. The re-sults have shown that hydration could significantly enhance copper solubility and the concentrations of copper were positively correlated with PH2O. The solubility of copper in vapor phase increased with increasing PH2O at the constant temperature. CuCl2 was transported as hydrated species CuCl2(H2O)ngas in water vapor. The formation of complexes is proposed to be the result of the following reaction: CuCl2solid nH2Ogas = CuCl2 (H2O)ngas The hydration number n decreased slightly with increasing temperature. Statistical hydration numbers are 4.0, 3.6 and 3.3 at 330, 350 and 370 ℃ , respectively.  相似文献

In this paper, we briefly address the application of the standard principal component analysis (PCA) technique to fault detection and identification. Based on an analysis of the existing test statistic, we propose a new test statistic, which is similar to the Hawkin’s TH 2 statistic but without the numerical drawback. In comparison with the SPE index, the threshold setting associated with the new statistic is computationally simpler. Our further study is dedicated to the analysis of fault sensitivity. We consider the off-set and scaling faults, and evaluate the test statistic by viewing its sensitivity to the faults. Our final study focuses on identifying off-set and scaling faults. To this end, two algorithms are proposed. This paper also includes some critical remarks on the application of the PCA technique to fault diagnosis.  相似文献

A novel advanced oxidation process——wet electrocatalytic oxidation (WEO) was studied with p-nitrophenol as model pollutant and β-PbO2 electrode as the anode. Compared with the effect of the individual wet air oxidation (WAO) and electrochemical oxidation (EO), the effect of WEO showed syn- ergistic effect on COD removal under the conditions of temperature 160℃, C=1000 mg·L-1, PN2=0.50 MPa, PO2=0.9 MPa, current density = 3 mA·cm-2, Na2SO4 3 g·L-1. And the synergistic factor got the best value of 0.98 within 120 min after 180 min treatment. The synergistic factor was studied after 120 min treatment at 100℃, 120℃, 140℃ and 160℃, and the effect of 120℃ was the best with the value of 1.26. Possible mechanism for the synergistic effect was discussed based on the analysis of free-radical generation and intermediates detected by HPLC and GC/MS.  相似文献

LiFePO_4@multiwalled carbon nanotubes(LFP@MWCNTs) nanocomposite has been fabricated using risedronic acid(RDA) as a new eco-friendly phosphorus source. Microscopic, spectroscopic, and electrochemical characterization demonstrate that the MWCNTs are in the form of coiled and cross-linking nanoribbon, which wrapped and encrusted around LiFePO_4 particles to form a three-dimensional(3D) nano-network composite.This microstructure of 3D nano-network is obtained due to the reactions between RDA's special functional groups with Fe~(2+) and C-OH,-C=O or-COOH on the surface of the functionalized MWCNTs. The results also show that the particle size of the fabricated LiFePO_4@MWCNTs composite is below 300 nm with the pure crystal of olivine. This nanocomposite indicates an enhanced reversible capacity of 162.2 mAh g~(-1) at 0.2C, and high capacity retention of 76.5% even at 10C after the 800 th cycles. The electric conductivity and Li~+ diffusion coefficient(D_(Li)~+) of the LiFePO_4@MWCNTs are 3.79 × 10~(-2)S cm~(-1) and 4.46 × 10~(-11) cm~2s~(-1), respectively.These improved electrochemical parameters can be attributed to the nano-sized effect of particles, MWCNTs' wrapping effect and 3D nano-network microstructure of the LFP@MWCNTs resulted from using RDA as a new phosphorus source.  相似文献

This inequality is an extension of the well-known Wielandt inequality in which both X and Y are vectors. Based on the prerequisite that the earliest acid rock formed because of the initial global expanding tectonic processes, by combining it with other geological limitation conditions, and starting from the lithosphere elastic mechanics, the following is defined: the earth expansion started at about 4300 Ma ago, the average increasing rate of the earth radius is 0.40 mm/a, the initial expanding earth radius is 4651 km, and the initial global expansion of tectonic processes happened at 4183.7 Ma ago. From the natural and attenuation evolution condition of the earth and terrestrial planets, through the limit condition got from the combination of the mathematics logic and the geological significance, the limited expanding earth evolution model is established as follows: in whichR 0= 4.651×106 m,A =1.86×106 m, β = -6.01×10−10/ a andt s=3×108 a. From this model the maximum radiusR maxof the limited expanding earth evolution should be 6511 km. The earth’s radius increasing rate is about 0.1 mm/a at present.  相似文献

Pulsed laser photolysis/laser-induced fluorescence (LP-LIF) is utilized to measure rate constants for C2(a3Πu) reactions with NO, N2O, O2, H2 and NH3. Multiphoton dissociation of C2Cl4 at 266 nm is employed for the generation of C2(a3Πu) radicals. The C2(a3Πu) concentration is monitored by the fluorescence of the (0, 0) band of the (d3Πg&#8596;a3Πu) transition at 516.5 nm. C2(a3Πu) removal rate constants for the reactions are determined as kNO = (5.46 ± 0.10) × 10-11 cm3 molecule-1 s-1 , kN2O = (1.63 ± 0.20) × 10-13 cm3 molecule-1 s-1 , kN2O = (1.58 ± 0.16) × 10-11 cm3 molecule-1 s-1, kO2 = (5.92 ± 1.00) × 10-14 cm3 molecule-1 s-1, kH2< 1.0× 10-14 cm3 molecule-1 s-1. Based on the data analysis and theoretical calculation, we suggest that the C2(a3Πu) reactions with H2 and NH3 proceed via the hydrogen abstraction mechanism, barriers exist at the entrance channel of the reactions of C2(a3Πu) with H2 and NH3.  相似文献

Conclusions  
(1)  The newly developed nanocrystalline Fe72 Cu1Nb2V2Sil4 B9 and Fe72Cu1NblMo1-V2Si14B9 alloy still show the superior synthetical magnetic properties quite comparable with those of the early developed and typical Fe-Cu-Nb-Si-B alloys. Their cost has been reduced, the ductility of their amorphous ribbons is much better than that of Fe-Cu-Nb-Si-B alloys, and their ribbons can be folded back without brittleness.
(2)  In the range off = 20–2000 kHz and Bm = 0.05-0.6 T, the dependences of core loss on frequency and amplitude flux density can be expressed asPoc B2 mfn,n = 1.6-1.7.
(3)  In the range of f= 20–2000 kHz and (B m f) = (15−30) × 103 T·Hz, the approximate expression 1nP = [a(Bm,f) +b] (lnf)-n is tenable, wheren =0.2-0.3, and botha andb are constant.
(4)  The newly developed nanocrystalline alloys have been used in switching mode power supply with larger output power, unipolarity pulse transformer and precision current mutual inductor and clearly shown advantage.

Abstract The valveless piezoelectric pump integrates driving and transmitting into one operating element, and characterizes easy micro-miniaturization. But, there is the original sin of low pressure and low flow. Thus, it must avoid weakness to choose applications field. This paper analyzes the flow characteristics in the rotary spiral-tube, which will cause the Coriolis force, and subsequently influence the fluid moving. The principle of the pump is deduced, and the spiral-tube-type valveless piezoelectric pump is invented. The angular velocity variation can be obtained when the pump attitude changes, which theoreti- cally verifies the gyroscopic effect of the pump. A pump is fabricated for experimental testing. Experiments has shown that when Archimedes spiral 0 = 4n is selected for the tube design, and the rotation speed of the plate is 70 r/min, the pressure differential is 9 mm H20, which is 1.5 times that of 0 r/min rotation speed. If introduced the low-cost and miniaturized gyroscope, then this may promise potential application in these areas such as smart cars, robots, and home health care.  相似文献

Mg–8Li–3Al+xCe alloys (x = 0.5wt%, 1.0wt%, and 1.5wt%) were prepared through a casting route in an electric resistance furnace under a controlled atmosphere. The cast alloys were characterized by X-ray diffraction, optical microscopy, scanning electron microscopy, and energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy. The corrosion behavior of the as-cast Mg–8Li–3Al+xCe alloys were studied under salt spray tests in 3.5wt% NaCl solution at 35°C, in accordance with standard ASTM B–117, in conjunction with potentiodynamic polarization (PDP) tests. The results show that the addition of Ce to Mg–8Li–3Al (LA83) alloy results in the formation of Al2Ce intermetallic phase, refines both the α-Mg phase and the Mg17Al12 intermetallic phase, and then increases the microhardness of the alloys. The results of PDP and salt spray tests reveal that an increase in Ce content to 1.5wt% decreases the corrosion rate. The best corrosion resistance is observed for the LA83 alloy sample with 1.0wt% Ce.  相似文献
