THE SYNTHESIS AND IDENTICATION OF DABS-CI REAGENT

In this paper, we are to report that the 4-dimethylamino azobenzene-4‘-sulfonyl chloride (DABS-CI) can be directly synthesized by the reaction of 4-dimethylaminoazobenzene-4‘-sulfonyle with phosphorus pentachloride, from which the yield is higher than from chlorosulfonation. (l) The experimental procedure is simple, and the quality and purity determined by I. R. spectra, X-ray diffraction reach, even surpass the same products by SERV A (German) in some respects.

SYNTHESIS AND CHARACTERIZATION OF THE MIXED LIGAND COORDINATION COMPOUND FROM RARE EARTH CHLORIDE AND THE NEUTRAL LIGANDS CONTAINING NITROGEN

The method of synthesizing ternary solid mixed ligand complexes from 1,10-phenanthroline, 2,2'-bipyridyl is reported. The series of complexes have been characterized by elemental analysis, infrared spectra, DSC-TGA analyses and molar conductivity. The results agree with the general formula LnL_1L_2Cl_3·nH_2O (Ln=La,Pr,Nd,Sm, Eu; Gd, Dy, Er, Tm, L_1=phen, L_2=bipy, n= 1,2,3).     

SYNTHESIS AND STRUCTURE OF HYDRATED LANTHANUM CARBONATE

以碳酸氢铵为沉淀剂合成了碳酸镧晶体。经Ｘ射线衍射测定，晶体属正交晶系，晶胞参数ａ＝０．８４８７ｎｍ，ｂ＝０．９５６４ｎｍ，ｃ＝０．４４８６ｎｍ。其结构与文献中提到的镧石型稀土碳酸盐的结构相接近。碳酸镧的红外光谱说明其内部存在着非等价的碳酸盐群。碳酸镧在热分解过程中，存在着稳定的中间产物Ｌａ２Ｏ３·ＣＯ２。     

MOLECULAR CHAIN STRUCTURE AND CRYSTALLINE STRUCTURE OF PB-ET COPOLYESTER

The molecular chain structure and crystalline structure of PB-ET copolyester made by con-densation polymerization are studied by means of ~(13)C nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy(~(13)C NMR),dynamic mechanical analysis (DMA),wide angle X-ray scattering (WAXS),depolarized light intensity (DLI) and stress-strain measurement(S-S).It is shown that PB-ETcopolyester is a random copolymer.Because of different ratios of EG(ethylene glycol)to BD(butane diol)in the copolyester,its crystalline forms and mechanical properties vary remarkably.With the increasing amount of BD,its crystallization kinetic parameters n,k and t_(1/2)~(-1) increaserapidly.When EG/BD equals 25/75 (mole ratio),the copolyester has αβ transition as PBTdoes.     

SYNTHESIS AND CHARACTERIZATION OF MONOVALENT AND MIXED-VALENCE COMPLEXES OF COPPER WITH 2-THIOURACIL

Five polynuclear monovalent and mixed-valence complexes of copper with 2-thiouracil were synthesized. LITERATURE AND THE TEACHING OF LANGUAGE

Chinese students learning English face a number of problems resulting from their isolation from the target language. One problem is that they are not exposed to the varieties of expression within the English language. This makes it difficult, for example, for them to distinguish between formal and informal English.     

THE EFFECT OF ANION ON THE MORPHOLOGY OF ELECTRODE, THE ADSORPTION OF QUINOLINE AND THE SER SPECTRA

The effect of different anion on the morphology of electrode, the adsorption of quinoline and the SER spectra are investigeted. The adsorption peak of quinoline appears in cyclic voltammogram in Cl~- (or Br~-) -containing electrolyte, but not in NV_3~- solution. We also find that the adsorption of quinoline is correlated with Cl~- concentration. This indicates some complex consist of Cl~- and quinolne are produced on Ag surface, Scanning electron microscopy is used to evaluate differences in surface morphology subjected to ORC treatment in different anion solution.The surface morphology of Aq electrode roughened in NO_3~- solution on which no SER signal can be observed differs greatly from that of Ag electrode which roughened in Cl~-(or Br~-)-containing electrolyte.     

STUDY OF MODIFIED AROMATIC POLYAMIDE SYNTHESIS AND CHARACTERISTICS OF CHLORINATED PPTA

Super pure 2,5-dichloroterephthaloyl dichloride (DDC) was prepared by chlorination andcontrolled by Gas Chromatography(GC) method. As a third monomer, DDC waspolycondensated into chlorinated PPTA together with terephthaloyldichloide (TPDC) andparaphenylene diamine (PPDA). The polycondensation conditions and the relationship betweenthe thermal behavior, viscosity, solubility, phase transition temperature of the modifiedpolyamide and the third monomer content discussed in this paper.
