Conscious Mind, Forgetting Mind: Two Approaches in Multimethodology

This paper explores the Confucian and the Taoist conceptions of mind and knowledge, polarises the two recent approaches in Western multimethodology, and suggests that differences between the two approaches can be channelled to form a creative tension like that between the yin and yang, so that each can improve and enrich itself more consciously and spontaneously through mutual challenging and mutual learning.     

On the reality of systems

Modern systems thinking has paradoxes implicit in its theories and these are present because of the relationship between the concept of system and the concept of reality. This paper explores those concepts by looking at five different perspectives within a phenomenological view of reality. Checkland's methodology is criticized for its treatments of systems and reality. Implications for practice are discussed.

针对商品进销存流转过程的费用问题 ,提出了建立费用数学模型的方法 ,并对经销过程中的动态成本优化问题给出了一系列算法 ,其中的保本保利模型与算法揭示了经营成本变动与商品在库时间的内在联系 ,为成本的优化控制奠定了基础 ,具有很好的理论研究意义和实际应用价值 .     

AHP中判断矩阵一致性修正的模式识别法

基于模式识别原理，给出了判断矩阵一致性修正的一种方法。在该方法中，首先把由专家或决策者给出的判断矩阵Ａ转化为ｎ个具有完全一致性的正互反阵。再将这ｎ个正互反阵和Ａ分别转化为反对称阵Ｂ（ｉ），ｉ＝１，…，ｎ和Ｂ。在Ｂ（ｉ），ｉ＝１，…，ｎ生成的线性空间中寻找与Ｂ最贴近的正互反阵Ｂ～＊，将Ｂ～＊对应的满足完全一致性的正互反阵Ａ～＊作为Ａ的修正矩阵，同时得到了Ａ～＊对应于最大特征值ｎ的正特征向量的计算公式。

军事概念模型是在吸取美军任务空间概念模型概念和技术的基础上,根据我军作战仿真实际特点提出的.它是作战仿真软件开发的阶段性成果,又是作战仿真软件开发过程的可视化显示.首先通过对实际军事概念模型建模实例的分析,给出了在军事概念模型中存在的一些共性问题.在此基础上针对问题提出了军事概念模型建模中应把握的原则和相应的军事概念建模过程,以期提高军事概念的建模质量.     

论社会实践管理系统组织化体系的构建

在给出社会实践管理系统组织化的主要内容，即系统结构和运行设计的基础上，提出了相应的设计原则；同时，按照“为什么做——做什么——如何做”的问题解决思路，将社会实践管理组织化过程分为情景分析、任务设计、功能设计、结构和运行设计、实施设计以及设计评价六个阶段，从而形成了一种较为系统化的社会实践管理系统组织化体系。     

Developing the methodology of TSI: From the oblique use of methods to creative design

During the last 13 years, a dialogue has been conducted in the Critical Systems literature on the subject of choice betwen methods. However, in the late 1980s and early 1990s, researchers went in two separate directions. One direction involved an exploration of the “creative design of methods.” This is when the problem situation is understood in terms of a series of systemically interrelated research questions, each of which might need to be addressed using a different method, or part of a method. A synthesis is generated that allows each individual research question to be addressed as part of a whole system of questions. The other research direction involved the development of “Total Systems Intervention” (TSI), a meta-methodology that, amongst other things, encourages the creative exploration of the problem situation prior to the choice of methods. One of the latest innovations in TSI is a theory of the “oblique” use of methods. This is the use of methods for purposes other than those they were originally designed for. However, it is argued here that all the case studies that have been subject to an “oblique” interpretation can be better explained if they are seen as examples of the creative design of methods. We can therefore bring together the two strands of research that have hitherto been pursued separately in the Critical Systems literature. it is suggested that TSI can be enhanced by an understanding of the creative design of methods because the latter allows us to explain the purposive, flexible, and responsive way in which TSI is most successfully used in practice.

At the same time, this paper points out, the request d 〉 1 is not appropriate to monotone decreasing series; even precision of model will decrease.     

Key issues in the quality assurance of the One Number Census

As part of the 2001 Census, the One Number Census project estimated and adjusted the Census database for underenumeration. As a result of the highly innovative One Number Census and the Quality Assurance process it encompassed, it was also ensured that robust results could be obtained for each local authority area. This article examines some of the issues and analyses that were undertaken as part of that assessment of the 2001 Census population counts for England and Wales. The article firstly highlights the key issues surrounding the implementation of the 2001 Census fieldwork. The article then explores the 2001 Census results through a series of demographic analyses to illustrate the sorts of issues investigated during the One Number Census Quality Assurance process itself. These analyses look at the patterns contained within the results, and comparisons with key alternative sources of population counts. Overall, these in-depth analyses and investigations provide further credence to the plausibility of the One Number Census results.     

导弹总体设计过程中的过程模型研究

针对导弹总体设计过程，提出以过程集成的思想来解决总体设计这个多学科多任务的复杂灵活的设计分析过程，并给出了能够描述导弹总体设计过程各种动态因素的过程模型-IPM，分析了IPM过程建模的相关内容。最后给出了一个应用实例验证了IPM思想的正确性和可行性。     

一对一超视距空战仿真中的机载雷达模型研究

为提高一对一超视距空战仿真的置信度,在考虑多路径效应、杂波、电子干扰、脉冲积累以及PRF选择的基础上,运用功能仿真法建立超视距空战机载雷达的数学模型。采用数值模拟法给出一对一超视距空战的仿真流程,以领先跟踪概率、跟踪距离、跟踪时间作为探测效能指标,运用蒙特卡洛法分析雷达自身性能和电子对抗方案对探测效能的影响。结果表明,此模型能够较好地模拟超视距空战中机载雷达的探测过程,合理可行。     

基于马尔可夫过程的k/n(G)系统共因失效分析

利用马尔可夫过程研究了发生共因失效的k/n(G)系统可靠度计算方法。建立了共因失效时部件全部失效和共因失效时多个部件失效这两种情况下,不可修系统和可修系统的马尔可夫模型。分析了系统部分部件属于共因失效组的可靠度计算方法。利用算例验证了所建立的模型的有效性,结果显示,所建立的马尔可夫模型适用范围广,计算方便。     

The Practice of Mindfulness for Managers in the Marketplace

This paper explores the practice of mindfulness, both formal and informal, in the context of the systems sciences. The systems sciences have given great importance to scientific research, almost to the exclusion of intuitive/spiritual search. However, with the recent worldwide interest in intuitive/spiritual search in general, and mindfulness and mindfulness meditation in particular, the doors have opened for a more balanced combination of these two enterprises. This balanced approach will not only help us to know how and why things happen the way they do, but will also tell us something about how to manage our own selves, particularly in difficult times. Mindfulness, which is the opposite of mindlessness, is our capacity for awareness and for self-knowing. It can be further refined through the practice of mindfulness meditation. The practice of mindfulness and mindfulness meditation has rapidly spread around the world and in the mainstream of Western culture in the past thirty years, thanks in part to an increasing number of scientific and medical studies, proving its abundant beneficial effects.     

集中式多雷达系统维数不匹配处理技术

在集中式多雷达跟踪系统中，经常存在雷达的观测信息维数不一致的情况。为了能正确对所有雷达观测数据进行融合，系统需要首先对维数不匹配的观测数据进行处理。目前，通常采用降维的方法处理数据维数不匹配问题。由于在降维处理过程中，需要丢失目标的高度信息，因此，系统会产生一定的动态误差。当目标的俯仰角度比较大时，系统的跟踪精度必然会下降。针对降维方法的缺点，本文采用升维的方法对数据维数不匹配进行处理，并对这两种方法在不同情况下的跟踪精度进行了仿真分析。     

Corporate Governance and the Practice of Business Ethics in Slovenia

This article contributes both quantitatively and qualitatively to the discussion on implementation of business ethics, as a basic background of social responsibility leading to systemic behaviour. In the frame of business ethics the ethical core values, culture, ethical climate, informal, and formal measures of business ethics implementation is addressed. The article is also aimed to improve understanding of importance of (ethical) corporate governance, key stakeholders’ influence on the enterprise’s core values, culture, the ethical climate, and informal and formal measures of business ethics implementation as the constitutional elements of enterprise ethical behaviour. The article briefs important cognitions of various empirical researches on business ethics in the case of Slovenian enterprises. The business ethics strongly relates to, and matters in, achieving more enterprises’ social responsibility and humankind’s well-being.
