The equilibrium phase and adiabatic temperature for combustion synthesis of Al2O3/B4C employing Al, B2O3 and C as starting materials is analyzed by both conventional and CALPHAD method. The adiabatic temperature calculed by CALPHAD method is significantly lower than that obtained by conventional method. The CALPHAD calculation also reveals that the equilibrium phases presented at the adiabatic temperature are different to the desired composites. The adiabatic temperature in this system can be lowered by introducing Al2O3 as diluents. The maximum amount of Al2O3 that can be added to the system while maintain a self-sustaining combusion mode is 1.3 mol.  相似文献

A method to produce ZrO2 nano-particles is developed and the effect of particle size on the phase structure of ZrO2 is studied. The method is based on the hydrolysis of ZrOCl2 solution in the reverse micelles of a liquid-liquid two-phase system, in which AOT (sodium 2-ethylhexyl sulfosuccinite) and toluene are chosen as the surfactant and organic phase, respectively. The reverse micelles prevent the aggregation of primary particles, the nano-particle size increases as the AOT content decreases. The TEM,XRD and particle-size analysis results show that the occurrence of metastable tetragonal ZrO2 is attributed to the effect of the particle size other than the effect of the crystallite size. The ratio of t-phase to m-phase increases as the particle size decreases, and 28 nm is the critical size for t-phase to m-phase transformation.  相似文献

CO2 sequestration by mineral carbonation can permanently store CO2 and mitigate climate change. However, the cost and reaction rate of mineral carbonation must be balanced to be viable for industrial applications. In this study, it was attempted to reduce the carbonation costs by using mine waste rock as a feed stock and to enhance the reaction rate using wet mechanical activation as a pre-treatment method. Slurry rheological properties, particle size distribution, specific surface area, crystallinity, and CO2 sequestration reaction efficiency of the initial and mechanically activated mine waste rock and olivine were characterized. The results show that serpentine acts as a catalyst, increasing the slurry yield stress, assisting new surface formation, and hindering the size reduction and structure amorphization. Mechanically activated mine waste rock exhibits a higher carbonation conversion than olivine with equal specific milling energy input. The use of a high-speed stirred mill may render the mineral carbonation suitable for mining industrial practice.  相似文献

When two mosquitoes meet to mate, each modulates its flight tones such that the female’s 3rd and the male’s 2nd harmonic frequencies are equivalent. We show that this phenomenon is an example of synchronization, which is common in nature. The mosquito’s flight tone acts as an external signal, stimulating its partner to adjust the wing beat rhythm to achieve the synchronization state. A simplified model, which is based on the frequency ratio difference feedback mechanism, is proposed to describe the harmonic convergence of mosquitoes. Furthermore, we proposed a method to characterize the energy dissipation in the frequency alteration, and the results demonstrate that 3/2 frequency locking is an optimal selection to mosquitoes. When compared with other possible ratios, the mosquitoes expend minimum energy if they lock the synchronizing state at a ratio of 3/2.  相似文献

Web information extraction is viewed as a classification process and a competing classification method is presented to extract Web information directly through classification. Web fragments are represented with three general features and the similarities between fragments are then defined on the bases of these features. Through competitions of fragments for different slots in information templates, the method classifies fragments into slot classes and filters out noise information . Far less annotated samples are needed as compared with rule-based methods and therefore it has a strong portability. Experiments show that the method has good performance and is superior to DOM-based method in information extraction.  相似文献

We have calculated the ground state energies and rotational constants for the Ne2 Kr and Ne2 Xe systems, as well as their corresponding isotopes using the hyperspherical method. We used B-splines as basis function to expand channel functions and make the knot distribution of B-splines characterize the behavior of the channel function precisely. As a result, the extremely slow convergence of quantum mechanic calculation for these van der Waals trimers containing heavy element is improved greatly. The convergent rotational constants and the isotope shifts are obtained and compared with other theoretical and experimental values. Our results using newly proposed Tang-Toennies (TT) pair-wise potentials are consistent with that of Ernesti and Hutson’s calculation using HFD-B potentials, and give an improved agreement with experimental data.  相似文献

A boundary collocation method based on the least-square technique and a corresponding adaptive computation process have been developed for the plate bending problem. The trial functions are constructed using a series of the biharmonic polynomials, and the local error indicators are given by the residu- als of the energy density on the boundary. In comparison with the conventional collocation methods, the solution accuracy in the present method can be improved in an economical and efficient way. In order to dem- onstrate the efficiency and advantages of the adaptive boundary collocation method proposed in this paper, two numerical examples are presented for circular plates subjected to uniform loads and restrained by mixed boundary conditions. The numerical results for the examples show good agreement with ones presented in the literature.  相似文献

CoCrCuFeNi-TiO was prepared by arc melting of the pure elements and Ti2CO powder under an Ar atmosphere. Both CoCrCuFeNi and CoCrCuFeNi-TiO alloys are composed of a face-centered cubic (fcc) solid solution, whereas the alloys of CoCrCuFeNi-TiO are basically composed of an fcc solid solution and TiO crystals. The microstructures of CoCrCuFeNi-TiO are identified as dendrite and interdendrite structures such as CoCrCuFeNi. The morphology of TiO is identified as an equiaxed crystal with a small amount of added Ti2CO. By increasing the amount of Ti2CO added, the TiO content was dramatically increased and part of the equiaxed crystals changed to a dendrite structure. A test of the oxidation resistance demonstrates that the oxidation resistance of CoCrCuFeNi-TiO is better than that of CoCrCuFeNi. However, as the TiO content increases further, a corresponding decrease is observed in the oxidation resistance.  相似文献

Pyrolysis of the Ta2O5/melamine mixture in molten chlorides is herein demonstrated as a facile and controllable method to nitridize and functionalize Ta2O5. The influence of the stoichiometry and composition of Ta2O5/melamine in molten salts on the nitridation process is rationalized to ensure the controllable preparation of Ta3N5 and Ta3N5/TaON. The characterization results, including scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, elemental mapping, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, and photoluminescence spectroscopy, all confirm the existence of the Ta3N5/TaON heterojunction, in which the TaON nanoparticles are closely anchored to the Ta3N5 nanorods. Benefiting from its composition and structure, the Ta3N5/TaON composites show enhanced photocatalytic activity for the degradation of methylene blue. The present study highlights that the molten salt method using a solid nitrogen source can be a new technique for rationalizing the design of nitrides and oxynitrides.  相似文献

Bulk metallic glass rings have the potential applications as annular gasket and active solder in special fields. The bulk metallic glass ring of Zr1.2Ti13.8Cu12.5Ni10.0Be22.5 with the outer diameter, the inner diameter, and the thickness of 38, 36, and 5 mm, respectively, was prepared by using a special shaped quartz tube water quenching method. The mechanical properties along the whole cross section were investigated by a nanoindentation method, and no evident variation of the Young's modulus and hardness was found, further indicating the single amorphous structure. Amorphous ring and tube-shape parts with different dimensions can be produced by this method.  相似文献
