Summary Na arachidonate (NaA) enhanced the resting basal tone of isolated coronary arteries from diabetic dogs and depressed it in coronary arteries from normal controls. Inhibitors of thromboxane A2 biosynthesis and of lipoxygenases abolished the vasoconstrictor effect of NaA on diabetic arteries, whereas inhibitors of cyclooxygenase activity and PGI2 biosynthesis blocked the vasodilating action of NaA on normal arteries.This work has been supported by grant 6638 from CONICET (Argentina). 相似文献

Summary Hypertension may be induced by pharmacologic activation of central cholinergic receptors either indirectly, through the injection i.v. of physostigmine, or directly, through the injection i.v. of arecholine in anesthetized rats. Activation of peripheral preganglionic cholinergic receptors with dimethylphenylpiperazinium iodide (DMPP) also produced a hypertensive response. Pretreatment with various doses of clonidine caused inhibition of the pressor response to central cholinergic stimulation but was without effect on the response to ganglionic cholinergic stimulation. 相似文献

Summary Constrictory responses of splenic resistance vessels arising under pressor reflexes were abolished by hexonium (2 mg/kg) as well as the high amplitude (above 15 V) impulses in sympathetic splenic nerves. Constrictory and dilatory responses of splenic capacitance vessels were preserved after administration of the same dose of hexonium and correlated as to the directivity with the changes of the low amplitude (15 V and lower) impulsation in the splenic nerve. 相似文献
