An Improved Genetic Algorithm for Problem of Genome Rearrangement

In view of the fact that the problem of sorting unsigned permutation by reversal is NP-hard, while the problem of sorting signed permutation by reversal can be solved easily, in this paper, we first transform an unsigned permutation of length n,π （π1 ,… ,πn）, into a set S（π） containing 2^n signed permutations, so that the reversal distance of π is equal to the reversal distance of the optimal signed permutation in S（π）. Then analyze the structural features of S（π） by creating a directed graph and induce a new computing model of this question. Finally, an improved genetic algorithm for solving the new model is proposed. Experimental results show that the proposed model and algorithm is very efficient in practice.     

A convenient preparation of enantiopure 1,1′-bi-2-naphtholsvia an inclusion complexation in the solid state

Inclusion reaction of racemic 1,1′-bi-2-naphthol and (S)-proline was examined under the solid state and the solid-liquid conditions. The results indicated that a solid mixture of racemic 1,1′-bi-2-naphthol and (S)-proline in a 1∶1 molar ratio was kept at 50–80 °C for 3–4 h, followed by treatment with benzene to give an insoluble solid and a benzene solution, from which (S)-(−)- and (R)-(+)-1,1′-bi-2-naphthols of a modest level of optical purity were obtained. After “kinetic” crystallization, both essentially enantiopure isomers were provided in 15%–35% overall yields, respectively. Identification and field evaluation of the sex pheromone of an invasive pest,the fall webworm <Emphasis Type="Italic">Hyphantria cunea</Emphasis> in China

Pheromone gland extracts of the fall webworm, Hyphantria cunea （Lepidoptera： Arctiidae） were analyzed by gas chromatography （GC） and gas chromatography-mass spectrometry （GC-MS）. Based on comparison of retention times and mass spectra of synthetic standards, four compounds were identified as （9Z,12Z）-octadecadienal, （9Z,12Z,15Z）-octadecatrienal, （3Z,6Z,9S, 10R）-9,10-epoxy-3,6-heneico- sadiene and （3Z,6Z,9S,10R）-9,10-epoxy-1,3,6-heneicosatriene with a ratio of 2：33.6：58.4：6. Trapping tests showed that quaternary blend of these compounds was highly attractive to male H. cunea. Unitraps baited with the quaternary blend loading of 200-300 μg on a gray rubber septum were very effective for monitoring H. cunea populations.

Walsh spectrum properties of rotation symmetric boolean function

Rotation symmetric function was presented by Pieprzyk. The algebraic configuration of rotation symmetric（RotS） function is special. For a Rots n variables function f（x1, x2, …, xn） we have f（ρn^k （x1, x2, …xn））=f（x1, x2, …, xn） for k=0, 1, …, n-1. In this paper, useing probability method we find that when the parameters of RotS function is under circular translation of indices, its walsh spectrum is invariant. And we prove the result is both sufficient and necessary.     

Characterization of Anabaena cylindrica Solution System Using Synchronous-Scan Fluorescence Spectroscopy

The characterization of the algaeAnabaena cylindrica solution with Fe (III) was investigated using fluorescence emission and synchronous-scan spectroscopy. The ranges of concentrations of algae and Fe (III) in aqueous solutions were 5.0×10⁸ 2.5×10⁸ cell/L and 1060 μmol/L. respectively. The effective characterization method used was synchronous-scan fluorescence spectroscopy (SFS). The wavelength difference (Δλ) of 90 nm, was maintained between excitation wavelength (λen) and emission wavelength (λen). The peak was observed at about (λex) (λem) 326 nm for synchronous scan fluorescence spectroscopy. The fluorescence quenching in system of algae Fe(III)-HA was studied using synchronous-scan spectroscopy for the first time, Fe(III) was clearly the effective quencher. The relationship betweenI I (quenching efficiency) andc (concentration of Fe (III) added) was, a linear correlation for the algae solution with Fe(III). Also, Aldrich humie acid (HA) was found to be an effective quencher. A theoretical study of the proton transfer process in the spin-forbidden reaction ^1HNO（^1A＇） ＋ OH^-→^ 3NO^-（^3∑^-） ＋ H2O

The spin-forbidden reaction 1HNO（^1A＋OH^-→3NO^-（^3∑^-）＋H2O has been extensively explored using vari- ous CASSCF active spaces with MP2 corrections in several basis sets. Natural bond orbital （NBO） analysis, together with the NBO energetic （deletion） analysis, indicates that the two isomers have nearly equal total energy and could compete with each other in the title reaction. More significantly, the singlet/triplet surface crossing regions have been examined and the spin-orbit coupling （SOC） and energetics have been computed. The computational results indicate that the SOC is very large at the crossing point T1/S0 trans （ca. 40.9 cm^-1）. Moreover, the T1/S0 trans has a low energy of 10.67 kcal/mol relative to that of trans-So. Therefore, the surface crossing to the triplet state seems much more efficient at the T1/S0 trans region along the minimum energy path （MEP）, However, The values of single （P1^ISC） and double （P2^ISC） passes estimated at T1/S0 trans show that the ISC occurs with a little probability.     

Some clifford martingale spaces

We study the spaces Hp, Sp, Kp, ∑p and ,p of martingales with measure du=ψdυ,where ψ is a function with Clifford algebra values and satisfies bp+-condition. We proved they are equivalent and isomorphic to the corresponding spaces of martingales with real measure dυ, respectively(1≤p＜∞). In the end,we give a martingale f such that f=(fn) ∞∈1K∞ but f=(E(ψ| n)fn)n≥ ∈1K∞.     

Existence of single-peaked solution of a semilinear elliptic problem

We discussed the Dirichlet problem of semilinear elliptic equationin (Pβ,α)D;-β△u=uε+εu,u>0,in Ω u=0, on(e),Ω where Ω(∪)RN(N≥4) is smooth and bounded domain,P=N+2/N-2,β,ε>0. We have proved that there exist positive ε0 and ε1 , such that when 0≤ε≤ε0,β>√ε1,(P0,1)has a single-peaked solution uβ, furthermore, |▽μβ|-0in the sense of measure as ε→0 and β→0.     

Mining rice new germplasm containing S5n gene by functional molecular marker and sequencing

Inter-subspecific hybrids between indica and japonica varieties yield strong biological heterosis, but it is difficult to utilize the hybrids directly in commercial production due to sterility of F1. A special gene S5^n may overcome the hybrids sterility, which is caused by the interaction between S5 loci. Recently, S5^n had been cloned, and it was revealed containing a large DNA deletion sequence that made the gene nonfunctional, compared to S5^i or S5^j. We designed a pair of primers flanking the deletion sequence of Ssn, and then applied to distinguish the varieties with S5^n or non-S5^n, convincing result suggested that the primers could be served as functional molecular marker to efficiently identify the new germplasm with S5^n, Using the functional marker, we surveyed 197 varieties from China National Micro-core Rice Collection, and found ten of which represented S5^n including following varieties： Haobuka, Sanbangqishiluo, Mubanggu, Xiaohonggu, Mowanggu＇neiza, Laozaogu, Fanhaopi, Feie＇nu02, Baoxie-7B, Teqingxuanhui. Among them, two varieties Sanbangqishiluo and Laozaogu was previously reported to contain S5^n gene. Further sequence analysis on the DNA sequence covering both sides of deletion in S5^n of the 10 varieties confirmed that the detected sequences in above varieties was identical with those of varieties containing S5^n, such as 02428 and Linglun. These results suggested that the gene in S5 locus of the ten varieties was also nonfunctional and it proved the presence of S5^n gene.     

Limit of Julia sets forz d +c

The limit behavior of Julia set J(fd,c) for polynomials fd,c(z) = zd + c is considered. That { J( fd,c) } d≥2 converges to the unit circle S1 in Hausdorff metric for some fixed parameter c is proved and some examples showing { J( fd,C) } d≥2 has no limit are given.

By a dynamical system we mean a pair of (X,T), whereX is compact Hausdorff space. 含Sr2+和Bi3+有机杂化体的合成及其光降解罗丹明B

采用溶剂热法在N,N-二甲基甲酰胺溶液中合成了不同摩尔比例的SrCl_2和Bi(NO_3)_3(分别为5%,10%,30%,50%,80%)与对苯二甲酸形成的含Sr~(2+)和Bi~(3+)有机杂化体,并在紫外可见光照射下对其进行了罗丹明B降解活性的评价.结果表明:杂化体在紫外可见光下对RhB降解活性良好,其中SrCl_2摩尔比例10%掺杂的催化剂光降解活性最佳,这归结于其在紫外区域对光有很好的吸收及光生电子和空穴能有效地分离.双金属离子能协同调节有机杂化体的光催化活性.     

Synthesis and characterization of new calix[4]arene amino acid ester derivatives and their metal extraction properties

A new type of calix[4]arenes containing amino acid ester derivatives has been synthesized. Their¹H NMR characteristics are discussed. Metal ion extraction experimental has shown that calix[4]arene amino acid esters (2a, 2b) possess good extraction efficiency for transition metal ions (Cu²⁺, Ni²⁺, Zn²⁺) and poor extraction efficiency for alkali metal ions (Na⁺, K⁺).
