The effect of different environmental temperatures on adenyl cyclase was studied. An increase in temperature appears to increase TRH-induced activity of adenyl cyclase, and possible causes an increases sensitivity to the hormone. Cyclic AMP levels of the pituitaries showed change at different environmental temperatures. 相似文献

Zusammenfassung Die durch Natriumfluorid und Isoproterenol stimulierbare Adenylcyclase-Aktivität in Erythrocyten-Schatten von 30–240 g schweren Ratten ist direkt proportional dem prozentualen Retikulocytengehalt des Blutes. Hinweise darauf, dass die Adenylcyclase-Aktivität kernloser Erythrocyten nahezu ausschliesslich in den Retikulocyten lokalisiert ist, konnten auch an menschlichem Blut erhalten werden.

Summary
Escherichia coli endotoxin inhibited the fluoride-stimulated adenylate cyclase activity of liver plasma membranes enriched with bile canaliculi. Inhibition was of a mixed competitive and uncompetitive type. This effect, which may result from changes of membrane organization, may have relevance in the understanding of endotoxin-cell membrane interactions. 相似文献

Zusammenfassung Nach Langendorff wird am isolierten Kaninchenherzen gezeigt, dass die Temperatur der Durchströmungsflüssigkeit sowohl an spontan schlagenden wie auch an elektrisch gereizten Herzen bei Kammerflimmern die Koronarienwirkung des Chinidins grundsätzlich abzuändern vermag. Summary Alrestatin at 25–1×10–4 M inhibited the accumulation of cyclic AMP induced by prostaglandin E2, but not theophylline, in the rat anterior pituitary in vitro. Somatostatin, at lower concentrations, inhibited both; maximal inhibition of the prostaglandin effect was greater with alrestatin. As cyclic AMP is considered to be a mediator in induced-hormonal release, it appears from the present findings that alrestatin may be of potential use in altering hormonal release.The author acknowledges the technical assistance of Miss C.
