"Sino-US Forum on Basic Science for the Next Fifteen Years" Held in Beijing

February 16-17, 2004, "Sino-US Forum on Basic Science for the Next Fifteen Years", co-sponsored by NSFC and NSF, was held in Beijing. The meeting discussed the future of basic science in the next 15 years and provided consultancy to China' s research for developing medium and long term strategic plan for basic science development.
