COMPARATIVE STUDY OF SELECTED BPR TOOLS

Modeling and simulation tools are essential to success of attempts at business process reengineering(BPR). This paper reviews the support tools used in earlier BPR practice and directs out the needs for more comprehensive and integrated tools. A conceptual framework to specify a BPR tool is proposed within which the key features are discussed. Five typical software packages are selected as samples to be tested and compared based on the framework. The result of this comparative review can serve as suggestion for purchasing a off-the-shelf product or requirement specification to develop a customized tool.

An Extended Enterprise Modeling Approach to Enterprise—based Integration

The paradigm of extended enterprise is the core competency focused.An extended enterprise expands its scope from bounding a single enterprise to including additional processes performed by other enterprises.The integration of processes is enterprise based.This paper proposes a recursive enterprises interconnected chain model for the extended enterprise,and presents an enterprisebased integration framework for the extended enterprise .The case study is based on a motorcycle group coporation.     

Model Construct Based Enterprise Model Architecture and Its Modeling Approach

In order to support enterprise integration,a kind of model construct based enterprise model architecture and its modeling approach are studied in this paper.First,the structural makeup and internal relationships of enterprise model erchitecutre are discussed.Then,the concept of reusable model construct(MC) which belongs to the control view and can help to derive other views is propsed.The modeling approach based on model construct consists of three steps,reference model architecture synthesis,enterprise model customization,system design and implementation.According to MC based modeling approach a case study with the background of one-kind-productmachinery nanufactureing enterprises is illustrated.It is shown that proposal model construct based enterprise model architecture and modeling approach are practical and efficient.     

A transaction management model supporting service grids

Service grids possess the features of intelligence and automation to compose heterogeneous resources and will be a commercial focus in network economy pattern. However. service grid business is loosely-coupled, distributed and long-running, so there is a real challenge for the researchers to provide consistency and reliability for service grid business. This paper references the transaction management methods in Web service and the safepoint concept in workflow system. combines with the feature of the service grid. and then presents a transaction management model based on service grid. This model guarantees the robustness of grid service composition and assures that service grid enabling system provides consistent and reliablc rcsuhs for the consumers.     

Organizing of Virtual Enterprise for Customized Artificial Joint and Scheduling of Manufacturing Resources Based on Manufacturing Grid

In order to improve efficiency of developing customized artificial joint, a virtual enterprise is organized based on the manufacturing grid. The application-oriented framework of the virtual enterprise is created for organization of the virtual enterprise. The manufacturing system of the virtual enterprise is built up based on the exterior grid and manufacturing subsystems of member enterprises are set up based on the interior grid. Furthermore, according to characteristic matching of manufacturing resources, the scheduling flow is studied in detail and the related scheduling strategies are established. The scheduling procedure is divided into distributed scheduling stage and local scheduling stage. Based on the manufacturing grid, the organization of the virtual enterprise for customized artificial joint and the corresponding scheduling strategies can be utilized to shorten developing cycle and reduce produce cost.     

HOPE:a heterogeneity-oriented parallel execution engine for inference on mobiles

Modeling Default Dependence with the Mixture of Calendar Time and Business Time

Evaluating default correlation between securities in a portfolio is very important for credit derivatives pricing and risk management. Under the framework of the structural model proposed by Black and Cox, we assume that the asset values of companies are driven by Brownian motions in the worlds of the calendar time and the business time; they then could evolve continuously or by leap. We build the dynamic default correlations using the time-varying correlated Brownian motions in these processes. The sensitivity of default correlations to the key parameters is explored in the paper by numerical examples, and we apply the model to risk management as well. Because default times are unpredictable in the proposed model, the defaults might occur suddenly. Independent defaults and complete correlated defaults can be described in the model as well.     

Implementation of transaction level AMBA bus models using systemC

This paper deals with how to implement AMBA bus transaction level modeling in SystemC.There are twom ain techniques used in the whole modeling process,which consist of starting the platform modeling at the transaction level and using the uniformed modeling language-System C.According to the concepts of interface,port and hierarchical channel introduced in SystemC 2.0,the system of master-channel (AMBA bus) slave is created as the architecture of the AMBA bus transaction level model,which can make it more extendable.The port and interface classes of the model that are prone to program are defined in accordance with the SoC hierarchical design methodology,In addition,method calls,not signal communication,are used between different modules in the model,so the higher-level abstraction is achieved and the simulation performance is improved.The AMBA bus transaction level model is analyzed and certified by simulation experiment,and proved to be completely compliant to the AMBA specification 2.0.     

A NEW METHOD FOR SUPPORTING ENTERPRISE IN THE FORMULATION OF ITS MERGER STRATEGICS

This paper discusses the influences of experience effect and market growth rate on the formulation of enterprise merger strategies; develops a new model for technically analysing and evaluating enterprise merger strategies by combining the progromming tool in market share theory-experience curve; and the key factor reflecting external enviornment-market growth rate, to provide scientific support when an enterprise decides to make its merger strategies.

近年来,商业模式分类体系的多样性折射出商业模式内涵界定不统一的深刻问题。商业模式分类的基础理应是围绕着商业模式的根本属性展开。本研究从交易结构理论出发,以价值链范围、价值环节范围、创造价值活动形式3个维建立度分类标准将商业模式分为平台型、集成型、聚焦型、全能型4类。在分类基础上,分析对比4类商业模型的交易拓扑结构、特征和适用条件。本文的研究成果不仅对商业模式的理论研究具有学术价值,对企业进行商业模式选择和改革的商业实践同样具有重要指导意义。

该文通过设计符合实际业务需求的银行中间业务模型(BIBmodel)和基于此的性能评测基准(BIBbench),来为大型银行系统的服务器性能评测提供测试模型标准及为选型提供指导标准,其性能指标及测试模型更加符合实际需求。详细介绍了BIBmodel的业务模型、系统架构、数据库模型和事务/帧模型,并提出了符合实际测量需求的基于BIBbench的负载测试算法。结果表明:该文提出的模型能够高效反映系统性能指标。     

一种基于Web环境的长事务协调框架

传统的事务处理技术不再适合松耦合、分布式、跨越多个企业的网络环境下的长事务,本文在传统事务处理技术的基础上,结合国际标准的WS-TX与BTP等在长事务处理方面的技术手段,构建一个为上层服务交互支撑平台提供完善、统一、简单及可扩展的长事务处理框架,实现统一的信息资源管理和协调,解决传统事务处理技术在松耦合环境下对Web事务服务处理上的缺陷。

为改善分布式主动实时数据库事务处理的可预测性,提出了一种新的基于树的事务语义模型,并基于该模型提出了一个分布式主动实时事务预分析处理与动态预测的集成框架,包括事务生成时的静态预分析、事务接纳时的初始动态预分析和事务运行阶段的即席分析与预测,它可以有效地支持分布式主动实时事务的静动结合分析,改善事务处理的实时性能．     

Architecture of Next-Generation E-Commerce Platform

E-commerce, driven by computer and internet technology, has experienced a significant growth in almost all fields during the past two decades. E-commerce has significantly changed the rules of business. Numerous research institutions and enterprises have made e-commerce more intelligent and convenient. Here, we propose a novel prototype of next-generation e-commerce platform with an architecture framework and theoretical models.Each subject, including the individual, enterprise, and administrative department, has his/her personalized portal to complete the subject information synchronization, supply release, demand satisfaction, and social contact. By using the personalized portal, instead of the traditional trading platform, the consumers and suppliers can complete intelligent matching transactions without intermediate traders. Moreover, the overall transaction process can be reviewed, making the transaction safer, more transparent, and more interesting. Moreover, the interconnected personalized portals solve the isolated islands of information, and the counterparts support parallel processing.Thus, this may improve the operating efficiency of the entire society.
