EFFECT OF TEMPERATURE ON THE RHEOLOGICAL BEHAVIOR OF UHMW-PAN SOLUTION

UHMW-PAN is an important polymer material used to make high strength and high modules fiber as well as hollow fiber membrane with high mechanical strength to resist the backwash process.In this paper, the effect of temperature on non-Newtonian flow index, structural viscosity index,maximum relaxation time and zero shear viscosity of the UHMW-PAN solution has been studied.The relationship between parameters and spinnability has been discussed. On the basis of above works, the suitable temperature of spinning solution by gel-spinning has been found.

ON THE VERIFICATION OF OPTIMALITY OF A SOLUTION GENERATED BY AN ALGORITHM FOR C_M-EMBEDDED PROBLEM

Some optimality conditions for the C_M-embedded problem arerepresented,and mainly,some subalgorithms for verifyingoptimality of a solution generated by an algorithm for the C_M-problem are proposed in this paper.

ON THE SOLUTION OF THE SINGULAR INTEGRAL EQUATIONS WITH BOTH CAUCHY AND CONVOLUTION KERNEL

The following equations are basic forms of C-K equation (which is simplified in the following as singu-lar integral equations with convolution, that is C-K equations):where a,b,a_j,b_j are known constants or known functions, and find its solution f L_P(R), {0} or {α,β}.There were rather complete investigations on the method of solution for equations of Cauchy type aswell as integral equations of convolution type. But there is not investigation to the C-K equations, nodoubt, such that is important.

THE EXPLICIT SOLUTION OF ULTRA-HYPERBOLIC EQUATION

In this paper, we can struct the elementary solution of ultra-hyperbolic equation with constant coeffi-cient by the characteristic conoid. By using the fundmental formula and the elementary solution analyse theform of its solution and give an explicit formula of the solution at the vertex of the characteristic conoid.Finally, we discuss the necessary condition for the initial value problem. A REMARK ON CERTAIN CONVOLUTION OPERATOR

A certain operator D~(a+p-1) defined by convolutions (or Hadamard products) is introduced. The object of this paper is to give an application of the convolution operator D~(a+p-1) to the differential inequalities.     

A STUDY ON THE IMPACT BEHAVIOUR OF EP POLYMER

This paper is a study by means of unnolched series impacting tests for some EP polymers at different temperatures, dealing with the effects of temperature and composition on the impact fracture. The results show that there is an extreme value on impact strength against temperature. And the hard particles of the second phase can enhance the impact strength of brittle materials while they induce the fracture origin initiating.
