Isotopic compositions of Mn-carbonate and organic carbon from the same individual samples and sulfur isotopic compositions of pyrites in the basal Datangpo Formation were analyzed. Highly 34S-enriched pyrites (834Spyrite =31.7-59.4‰) were precipitated in rel- atively occlusive pore water under anoxic condition in sediments, which is consistent with the observation of large and scattered pyrite framboids. The sulfidic deep ocean was not "oxidized" in the early Datangpo interglacial interval, thus the level of seawater sulfate remained low and marine δ34Ssulphate remained high. Low δ13Ccar (average -7.4‰) and abnormal relationship between δ13Ccar and fractionation (ΔCar-ors) imply that the negative δ13CCar excursion may have resulted from oxidation of part of a large organic carbon reservoir. High Δcar-org (average 25.1‰) implicates high CO2 level in the atmosphere. Small standard deviation (1.0‰) of δ13CCar values indicates the Mn-carbonate was precipitated near the water-sediment interface under dysoxic conditions rather than in occlusive pore water in sediments.  相似文献

长江口航道淤积的主要成因是河流从上游带来的大量粘性细颗粒泥沙,在河口盐、淡水交汇处遇强电解质海水,产生絮凝形成絮团而加速沉降形成的。用长江口粘性泥沙在不同盐度的人工海水中做了大量的试验,研究结果表明,影响絮凝的主要因素为含盐度、颗粒大小、含沙量、泥沙矿物成分、有机质含量等、这些因素和絮团形成的大小有密切关系。  相似文献

The early Cambrian black shale sequence in Northwestern Hunan Province has been investigated for its stable isotopic geochemistry of organic carbon and pyrite sulfur. The relatively low δ 13C values of organic matter, -29.7‰~-34.2‰, are interpreted as caused by the high CO2 concentration in atmosphere/ocean and an anoxic depositional environment in early Cambrian. Variable, but significantly positive δ 34S values, 10.2‰~ 28.2‰, for sedimentary pyrite reveals bacterial sulfate reduction as the pyrite-forming process but under sulfate-limited conditions. A protected anoxic basin, which had very limited access to open ocean, and its sediments, where metabolizable organic matter was rich and bioturbation was absent, are supposed to be the sulfate-limited environments and might have existed in South China in the early Cambrian.  相似文献

【目的】了解可能性食物源对红树林大型底栖动物的贡献率。【方法】利用碳氮稳定同位素技术,对广西廉州湾红树林大型底栖动物及可能性食物源的碳、氮同位素比值(δ~(13) C值、δ~(15) N值)进行分析,并通过贝叶斯稳定同位素混合模型,估算不同食物源对大型底栖动物的贡献率。【结果】大型底栖动物的δ~(13) C值为-23.37‰~-18.09‰,δ~(15) N值为6.59‰~17.00‰,δ~(13) C值、δ~(15) N值的变化范围较大,表明大型底栖动物食物来源较为复杂多样。7种可能性食物源的δ~(13) C值为-29.09‰~-21.53‰,δ~(15) N值为6.85‰~15.67‰,其中红树植物的δ~(13) C值最为贫化。大型底栖动物的营养级别均小于3,表明它们基本属于初级消费者。SIAR混合模型计算结果显示,颗粒有机物(POM)对大型底栖动物有较高的贡献率,其次为表层沉积物(SOM),大型藻类、附生植物的贡献率较低,红树植物叶片、落叶、树皮对大型底栖动物的贡献率最低。【结论】POM、SOM是广西廉州湾红树林大型底栖动物重要的食物源,红树植物不是大型底栖动物碳的主要来源。  相似文献

Petroleum contamination in terrestrial environments caused by industrial activities is a significant problem that has received considerable attention. Carbon and nitrogen isotopic compositions (δ13C and δ15N) effectively describe the behavior of plants and soils under petroleum contamination stress. To better understand plant and soil responses to petroleum-contaminated soil, δ13C and δ15N values of the plants (Trifolium repens, Leguminosae with C3 photosynthesis pathway, and Agropyron cristatum with C4 photosynthesis pathway) and the soil samples under one-month exposure to different extents of petroleum contamination were measured. The results showed that petroleum contamination in the soil induced the soil δ15N values to increase and δ13C values to decrease; from 1.9‰ to 3.2‰ and from ?23.6‰ to ?26.8‰, respectively. However, the δ13C values of Agropyron cristatum decreased from ?29.8‰ to ?31.6‰, and the δ13C values of Trifolium repens remained relatively stable from ?12.6‰ to ?13.1‰, indicating that they have different coping strategies under petroleum-contaminated soil conditions. Moreover, the δ15N values of Trifolium repens decreased from 5.6‰ to 0.8‰ near the air δ15N values under petroleum-contaminated soil, which implies that their nitrogen fixation system works to reduce soil petroleum stress. The δ13C and δ15N values of Agropyron cristatum and Trifolium repens reflect changes in the metabolic system when they confront stressful environments. Therefore, stable isotopic compositions are useful proxies for monitoring petroleum-contaminated soil and evaluating the response of plants to petroleum contamination stress.  相似文献

This study deals with δ13C variation in karst soil system of Yaji Karst Experiment Site, Guilin, a typical region of humid subtropical karst formations. Samples of near ground air, plant tissue, soil and water (soil solution and karst spring) were respectively collected on site in different seasons during 1996-1999. Considerable variation of δ13C values are not only found with different carbon pools of soil organic carbon, soil air CO2 and soil water HCO-3, but also with the soil depths and with different seasons during a year.The δ13C values of CO2 both of near ground air and soil air are lower in July than those in April by 1%-4‰ PDB. Our results indicate that the δ13C values of carbon in the water and air are essentially dependent on interface carbon interaction of air-plant--soil-rock--water governed by soil organic carbon and soil CO2 in the system.  相似文献

The carbon isotopic composition of CO-2, CO and CH-4 extracted by pyrolysis from spinel lherzolite and black pyroxenolite xenoliths in alkali basalt from Damaping has been measured with GC_MS. The results show that, at heating temperatures from 400 to 1 140℃, the δ 13C of CO-2 and CO is -22‰--27‰, and that of CH-4 -30‰--50‰. The data imply that the magma which was generated in the upper mantle by partial melting in the area has experienced the multistage degassing process, and the δ 13C values represent the carbon isotopic composition of CO-2, CO and CH-4 remaining in it, respectively.  相似文献

We conducted detailed studies of the Sinian carbonates from the Helan Mountain, Ningxia by both field investigation and laboratory analyses of carbon and oxygen isotopes. The carbon isotopic compositions of the Sinian Zhengmuguan Formation shows variations with regularity in the five studied sections, the δ 13C values all gradually decrease from bottom to top, with a total range from ?4.51‰ to 0.11‰, and the biggest negative excursion reaches up to ?6.88‰. In addition, abundant macro-body fossils were also found from the Tuerkeng Formation in this study, similar to those found from the Dengying Formation in the South China Block. This observation firmly constrained the age for the Zhengmuguan and Tuerkeng formations to the Sinian period. Here we interpreted that the Zhengmuguan Formation formed during a glacial period when the extremely cold climate substantially decreased the amount of burial of organic matter in the ocean and thus led to the general negative δ 13C excursion. The increasing δ 13C values in the Tuerkeng Formation dolomites imply the ending of the glacial period in the Zhengmuguan epoch, biological recovery and increase of organic matter burial in the ocean occurred during this period. Comparing our obtained carbon and oxygen isotopes of the Zhengmuguan and Tuerkeng formations with those of coeval carbonate successions from other places all over the world, the Zhengmuguang-aged glacial deposits might be deposited after the Gaskiers glaciation. This study provides important information for paleo-ocean, paleogeographic and biological evolution in the North China Block during the Ediacaran period and adds new carbon and oxygen isotopes data for the global Sinian carbon-oxygen isotopes dataset.  相似文献

Profound geotectonic, climatic and biological changes occur during the terminal Neoproterozoic and its transition into the early Cambrian. These are reflected in temporal variations of the chemical and isotopic composition of seawater. We are studying a sequence of sedimentary rocks at the Shatan section, northern Yangtze Platform, Sichuan Province of China. This succession comprises, in ascending stratigraphic order, predominantly calcareous sediments of the Sinian upper Dengying Formation and black shales of the lower Cambrian Guojiaba Formation (time equivalent of Niutitang Fm.). Paleoenvironmental setting represents shallow-water shelf deposits. The objective of our study is to provide temporal records for the isotopic compositions of organic and carbonate carbon throughout this time interval. Organic carbon isotope values display a range between -35.8‰ and -30.1‰ with clear stratigraphic variations. Carbonate carbon isotope data vary between -3.5‰ and +0.5‰. These secular variations are interpreted to reflect perturbations of the global carbon cycle, specifically changes in the fractional burial of organic carbon. However, local conditions have further affected the isotopic signals.  相似文献

早三叠世海水的碳同位素组成是近年来地学研究的热点之一,但全球早三叠世碳同位素组成并没有获得统一的认识。上扬子地区早三叠世晚期普遍发育蒸发岩,地表剖面则因表生成岩作用而形成一套夹盐溶角砾岩及次生灰岩的碳酸盐地层,其地球化学信息不同程度地偏离海水,因而样品成岩蚀变性对古海水碳同位素组成的代表性的评估显得十分重要。本文以中、下三叠统界线清楚的重庆北碚剖面为对象,研究了下三叠统嘉陵江组第三、第四段和中三叠统雷口坡组底部样品的元素组成,碳、氧同位素组成及彼此之间的相互关系,选择Mn含量和氧同位素作为条件评价碳酸盐岩的成岩蚀变性及其对海水碳同位素组成的代表性,在此基础上建立了早三叠世晚期海水的碳同位素演化曲线。研究表明:(1)北碚剖面嘉陵江组第三、第四段(嘉三、嘉四段)及雷口坡组底部碳酸盐岩的Mn、Fe含量与碳同位素组成之间具有良好的负相关性,氧同位素组成和碳同位素组成之间则具有良好的正相关性,大量样品具有低δ18 O值、低δ13 C值以及较高Mn、Fe含量的特征,说明其碳同位素组成偏离海水。(2)以δ18 O-7.5‰、方解石的Mn质量分数100×10-6、白云石的Mn质量分数120×10-6为评价条件,北碚剖面嘉三、嘉四段(含雷口坡组底部)的73个样品中有38个需要在建立海水碳同位素曲线时剔除,占全部样品的52%。其中嘉四段需要剔除的样品占嘉四段样品的78%,而嘉三段的该数值为11%,说明作为原始沉积的灰岩段对海水地球化学信息保存较好,而分布盐溶角砾岩及次生灰岩的层位对海水地球化学信息保存很差。(3)氧同位素作为成岩蚀变评价标准比Mn含量更为苛刻,并可基本覆盖Mn含量评价条件,说明对于嘉三—嘉四段这样的石灰岩—白云岩—蒸发岩地层的地表剖面的样品来说,选择氧同位素作为评价条件可较好地对碳同位素的原生性进行控制。(4)白云岩对海水地球化学信息总体上保存较好,与相邻石灰岩相比,白云岩具有更高的δ18 O和δ13 C值,但其原因仍然需要进一步研究,可能与同位素分馏系数的差别以及白云岩形成于盐度更高的流体有关,因而白云岩所代表的海水地球化学信息可能不完全与伴生石灰岩相同。(5)除绿豆岩附近出现了短时间的变化超过4‰的大幅度波动以外,早三叠世晚期海水的碳同位素演化相对平稳,大致在-0.3‰~-1.8‰的范围内波动,呈现一个低幅的"V"字形,显示早三叠世晚期地球生态的恢复与碳循环系统的重建。  相似文献

Various branched and cyclic hydrocarbons are isolated from the Fushun oil shale and their carbon isotopes are determined. The analytical results show that the branched and cyclic hydrocarbons are fully separated from n-alkanes by 5 A molecular-sieve adduction using long time and cold solvent. The branched and cyclic hydrocarbon fraction obtained by this method is able to satisfy the analytic requests of GC-IRMS. The carbon isotopic compositions of these branched and cyclic hydrocarbons obtained from the sample indicate that they are derived from photoautotrophic algae, chemoautotrophic bacteria (-33.4‰— -39.0‰) and methanotrophic bacteria (-38.4‰— -46.3‰). However the long-chain 2-methyl-branched alkanes indicate that their carbon isotopic compositions reflect biological origin from higher plants. The carbon isotopic composition of C30 4-methyl sterane (-22.1‰) is the heaviest in all studied steranes, showing that the carbon source or growth condition for its precursor, dinoflageilate, may be different from that of regular steranes. The variation trend of δ^13C ValUes between isomers of hopanes shows that ^13C-enriched precursors take precedence in process of their epimerization. Methanotrophic hopanes presented reveal the processes of strong transformation of organic matter and cycling of organic carbon in the water column and early diagenesis of oil shale.  相似文献

The concentrations of total suspended matter (TSM) and the compositions of organic stable carbon iso- topes of TSM and bottom sediments were analyzed to study the sources of TSM and sediments and the transportation processes. For this study, 284 TSM samples and 64 sediment ones taken from 67 stations along 7 transects and in 5 layers were collected in the southern Yellow Sea on the cruise in May, 1998. The main sediment transportation pattern in the southern Yellow Sea was obtained by analyzing the distribu- tion characteristics of TSM concentration and particulate organic carbon δ~(13)C values. It was confirmed from the pat- tern that the bottom layer plays a more important role than the surface one in the transportation processes of terrigenous material to the central deep-water area of the southern Yel- low Sea. The Yellow Sea circulation is an important control factor in determining the sediment transportation pattern in the southern Yellow Sea, The carbon isotope signals of sedi- mentary organic matter confirmed that the main material in sediments with high sedimentation rate in the Shandong subaqueous delta originated from the modern Yellow River. The terrigenous sediments in the deep-water area of the southern Yellow Sea are mainly from the abandoned Yellow River and the modern Yellow River, and a small portion of them are from the modern Yangtze material. The amount of terrigenous material from Korean Peninsula and its influen- ce range are relatively limited. The conclusions derived from TSM and stable carbon isotopes were further confirmed by another independent material source tracer-PAHs.  相似文献

The discovery of the prolific Ordovician Red River reservoirs in 1995 in southeastern Saskatchewan was the catalyst for extensive exploration activity which resulted in the discovery of more than 15 new Red River pools. The best yields of Red River production to date have been from dolomite reservoirs. Understanding the processes of dolomitization is, therefore, crucial for the prediction of the connectivity, spatial distribution and heterogeneity of dolomite reservoirs.The Red River reservoirs in the Midale area consist of 3~4 thin dolomitized zones, with a total thickness of about 20 m, which occur at the top of the Yeoman Formation. Two types of replacement dolomite were recognized in the Red River reservoir: dolomitized burrow infills and dolomitized host matrix. The spatial distribution of dolomite suggests that burrowing organisms played an important role in facilitating the fluid flow in the backfilled sediments. This resulted in penecontemporaneous dolomitization of burrow infills by normal seawater. The dolomite in the host matrix is interpreted as having occurred at shallow burial by evaporitic seawater during precipitation of Lake Almar anhydrite that immediately overlies the Yeoman Formation. However, the low δ18O values of dolomited burrow infills (-5.9‰~ -7.8‰, PDB) and matrix dolomites (-6.6‰~ -8.1‰, avg. -7.4‰ PDB) compared to the estimated values for the late Ordovician marine dolomite could be attributed to modification and alteration of dolomite at higher temperatures during deeper burial, which could also be responsible for its 87Sr/86Sr ratios (0.7084~0.7088) that are higher than suggested for the late Ordovician seawaters (0.7078~0.7080). The trace amounts of saddle dolomite cement in the Red River carbonates are probably related to "cannibalization" of earlier replacement dolomite during the chemical compaction.  相似文献

【目的】探讨九龙江口红树林湿地沉积物中总有机碳(TOC)和总氮(TN)的影响因素及来源,加深对红树林湿地中碳和氮的生物地球化学过程的认识。【方法】测定九龙江口红树林湿地表层沉积物粒度、TOC和TN含量,并对其分布特征进行分析。利用TOC/TN比值分析有机质来源及不同来源的贡献率。【结果】九龙江口红树林湿地沉积物中TOC和TN的含量分别为1.24%~3.81%和1.19~2.05mg/g,TOC/TN比值为11.6~26.3,TOC、TN含量和TOC/TN的平面分布均呈现出由陆向海方向逐渐降低的趋势。沉积物中TOC和TN含量没有表现出明显的粒度效应。【结论】控制沉积物中TOC和TN含量分布的主要因素并不是粒度效应,而可能是其来源。沉积物中TOC和TN的主要来源可能是红树林植物碎屑、养殖废水输入的有机碳和氮污染,以及海洋浮游植物碎屑。  相似文献

对北京大学未名湖底泥层做了210Pb计年法和137Cs时标法定年以及氧碳同位素分析。结果表明厚度约50cm的底泥层形成于公元1747—1997年之间,湖泥中碳酸盐的氧碳同位素组成和有机物含量记录了北京地区公元1747年以来的气候变化:1866年以前冬季风盛行,气候比较寒冷干燥;1887年以后夏季风盛行,气候比较温暖湿润,其中1907—1926年是近250年以来气候最为温暖湿润的时期;介于两者之间的1867—1886年是气候急剧转型的时期,也是自然灾害频繁出现的时期。  相似文献

The current situation of geochemical studies on coalbed gas is reviewed in this paper. Generally, coalbed gas is compositionally dominated by methane with δ13C1 values ranging approximately from -80‰ to -10‰. However, few isotopic studies have been carried out on other components of coalbed gas except for hydrogen and carbon dioxide, whose δDCH4 values available for utilization vary from -333‰ to -117‰, and δ13CCO2 values from -29.4‰ to +18.6‰. Two major types of coalbed gas, thermogenic gas and secondary biogenic gas, have been identified, and there are also some other classification criteria. Compared with conventional natural gases, coalbed gas has a wide distribution range of δ13C1 and δ13CCO2 values, especially possessing some extremely heavy values. Current problems that remain unsolved in the coalbed gas geochemistry include the variation mechanism, controlling factors and application of carbon and hydrogen isotopes of methane, the relation between the values of δ13C1 and Ro, the systematic classification scheme and criterion of genetic types, and the application of the coalbed gas geochemistry in evaluating target districts of the coalbed gas exploration.  相似文献

中—下奥陶统鹰山组碳酸盐岩古岩溶储层是塔里木盆地轮古西地区的主要油气产层 .为了弄清储层的成因类型、储层古岩溶过程中的流体性质和古水文条件 ,为预测和评价此类储层提供有关的地球化学信息 ,讨论了储层形成过程中记录的碳、氧稳定同位素特征 .结果表明 :轮古西地区奥陶系鹰山组碳酸盐岩古岩溶储层中的δ13C和δ18O值的变化范围较大 ,δ13C值为 -0 .70‰~ -6.5 0‰ ,平均值 -1 .76‰ ;δ18O值为 -3 .75‰~ -1 7.1 0‰ ,平均值 -9.42‰ .碳酸盐岩基质、冲积岩和方解石胶结物的δ13C和δ18O分布具有一定的差异 .三类样品的δ18O值均具有明显偏负特征 ,表明在碳酸盐岩成岩过程中受到大气成因的淡水影响 ,反映了当时的风化壳岩溶成岩环境 .冲积岩样品的δ13C值的偏负程度较高 ,其物源可能来自石炭—二叠系地层  相似文献

 为了探讨珠江流域西江、北江河流溶解无机碳(DIC)及其稳定同位素组成(δ13CDIC)特征,分别于2007年春季和夏季对流域低水期、高水期的西、北江及思贤滘河道DIC及其稳定同位素组成进行了实测调查。结合实测河道水体理化参数,采用碳的稳定同位素示踪技术和多参数相关分析法,对西、北江流域及其滘口的河流DIC组成、性质及其碳源汇机制进行了分析。结果表明,西、北江的河流DIC的组成、性质都有明显的差异且存在显著的季节变化。春季,西、北江的河道DIC浓度及其δ13CDIC分别为1 942 μmol/L、1 637 μmol/L和-11.75‰、-12.44 ‰;而夏季,西、北江的河道DIC浓度及其δ13CDIC分别为1 986 μmol/L、1 383 μmol/L和-13.03‰、-12.77‰。河道DIC浓度及其δ13CDIC的这种差异反映出西、北江流域结构特性对DIC侵蚀、输移的显著影响。夏季汛期,流域的高温多雨环境致使大量有机质汇入河道、强烈分解、释放大量轻碳,使得西、北江河道δ13CDIC都低于春季;由于汛期高温和径流的共同作用使得北江DIC远远小于春季,而西江DIC却略高于春季。思贤滘水道的DIC浓度及其δ13CDIC受西、北江来水的控制发生季节变化。  相似文献
