L'association observée entre les vésicules agranulaires et les «blebs» de la membrane nucléaire est un argument en faveur de la théorie selon laquelle l'origine du reticulum endoplasmique est à rechercher dans la membrane nucléaire.     

Histochemical comparison of mast cell and globule leucocyte granules in the rat

Zusammenfassung Es werden die Granulationen von Leukozyten, welche im Dünndarm der Ratte infolge einer Helmintiasis auftraten, mit den Granulationen der Mastzellen im s.c. Gewebe verglichen. Die Granulationen in den Mastzellen verhalten sich gegenüber Heparin und Histamin positiv, während die Leukozyten eine negative Reaktion ergeben. Dies weist darauf hin, dass die beiden Zellen nicht identisch sind und wohl aus verschiedener Matrix stammen.     

Relationship of specific granules to the natriuretic and diuretic activity of rat atria

Summary The isolation of several fractions from rat atrial homogenates, by the use of differential and sucrose gradient centrifugation, indicates that the diuretic and natriuretic activity is restricted to the fractions rich in specific granules. Our preliminary results suggest that the active substance is a small peptide which is probably different from the natriuretic substance(s) already known.Supported by a group grant given by the Medical Research Council of Canada to the Multidisciplinary Research Group on Hypertension of the Clinical Research Institute of Montreal.Acknowledgments. Giant pigment granules in dermal melanocytes of rat scrotal skin

Summary Giant melanosomes, ellipsoidal (1.5 m×1.3 m) or spherica (1.1 m–1.4 m in diameter) exist in the scrotal skin of the black pelted Long Evans rat. They are longer and wider than normal stage IV melanosomes (0.7 ×0.4 m) found in theses dermal melanocytes.The authors acknowledge with gratitude, the technical assistance of Evelyn Ann Flynn. Lysosomal enzymes in the juxtaglomerular cell granules

Summary In addition to the already known acid phosphatase and -glucuronidase, 2 other lysosomal enzymes: aryl sulphatase and N-acetyl--glucosaminidase were localized by histochemical methods in the renin-containing granules of the mouse juxtaglomerular cells.

Riassunto Viene confermato che la struttura dell'agente dolcificante perillartina è quella di unasim ossima. Il tentativo di ottenere l'isomeroanti per azione dell'acido cloridrico ha condotto invece all'addotto tra HCl e gruppo isopropenilico, mentre il trattamento con trifluoruro di boro ha provocato solo la migrazione del doppio legame per formare l'analogo derivato dell'1, 3-cicloesadiene.     

On the origin of adenosine triphosphate in chromaffin granules

Résumé Les granules chromaffines contiennent de fortes quantités de nucléotides (ATP). L'origine de cet ATP est inconnue, mais il a été admis implicitement que la réaction ADPATP+AMP est catalysée par l'enzyme adénylate kinase. Nous avons recherché la présence de cet enzyme dans des granules isolés en gradient de densité de sucrose.     

Pigment granules in choroidal melanophores of the albino goldfish

Summary Pigment granules in choroidal melanophores of the albino goldfish contained fine particulate materials which were in various degrees aggregated in clumps. Tyrosinase was considered to be present in an inhibited state in these pigment granules.Supported by the Ministry of Education of Japan Research grant No. 234046.
