Résumé Le dérivé dibutyrique du 3, 5-AMP cyclique potentialise les contractions du diaphragme provoquées par stimulation électrique indirecte, alors que l'application du 3,5-AMP cyclique n'a pas un tel effet. D'autre part, ce dérivé diminue le taux de glycogène du diaphragme, ce qui n'est pas le cas pour le 3,5-AMP cyclique.

Summary 6-Methoxy-9,10 -pregna-4,6-diene-3,20-dione inhibites the ⁴-3-oxosteroid-5-reduction in microsomes and the ⁴-3-oxosteroid-5-reduction in the soluble fraction of male rat liver. The 3- and 3-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase are not inhibited by this substance.

On the norepinephrine replacement by α-methyl-norepinephrine in the rat heart after treatment with α-methyl-DOPA

Résumé Des rats ont été traités une fois par jour pendant 11 jours avec de l'-méthyl-DOPA ou de l'-méthylnoradrénaline. Le 12^e jour, le taux de la noradrénaline cardiaque était de 15% par rapport aux contrôles. Les curs avaient en outre fixé une quantité d'-méthyl-noradrénaline nettement supérieure au déficit en noradrénaline. Après arrêt du traitement, la remontée du taux de la noradrénaline s'est accompagnée d'une perte correspondante d'-méthyl-noradrénaline. Après normalisation complète du taux de la noradrénaline, l'-méthyl-noradrénaline était encore présente dans le cur en quantité à peu près égale à celle de la noradrénaline, et fixée apparemment dans un dépôt relativement inerte.

Summary The vast majority of oil-droplets in the dark and light-adapted retinal twin-cones ofPoecilia reticulata is of the matrix-type. In bright light (day light+overhead strip light) there occurs in some regions a very pronounced numerical change from matrix to cristate-type, whereas other regions remain unaffected. The functional significance of these differences is discussed.
