Summary Contrary to earlier findings in rats, cerebral lateral ventricular infusions of 1×10–3 M or 2×10–3 M solutions of phloridzin at a rate of 2.5 l/min for 90 min had no significant stimulating effects on food intake and weight gain in hens and cocks. These different responses to intraventricular phloridzin might reflect a difference of sensitivity to the inhibitory action of phloridzin on glucose transport in cerebral cells or certain peculiarities of mechanisms controlling food intake in chickens.  相似文献

Dietary long-chain polyunsaturated fatty acids are known to influence brain levels of the endocannabinoid anandamide in newborn pigs and mice. Furthermore, endocannabinoids were shown to control pup suckling and body weight in mice, and food intake in adult rodents. Here we determined the effect of maternal under-nutrition during gestation, lactation, or both, on body weight, and on the levels of endocannabinoids and expression of cannabinoid CB1 receptors and fatty acid amide hydrolase in the hypothalamus of rat pups at weaning (21 days old) or adult rats (4 months old). Maternal under-nutrition resulted in a striking decrease in body weight of weaning rats, paralleled by a decrease in the hypothalamic levels of the endocannabinoid anandamide, but not of 2-arachidonoylglycerol. No significant change in the hypothalamic expression of either cannabinoid CB1 receptors or fatty acid amide hydrolase mRNA was detected in any of the three groups of weaned pups. The decrease in pup body weight and hypothalamic anandamide levels was not observable in 4-month-old rats from any of the three groups. These data suggest that maternal under-nutrition causes a decrease in hypothalamic anandamide levels and loss of body weight, and confirm a crucial role for endocannabinoid signalling in neonatal development. 物联网(internet of things,IOT)拥有无处不在的识别、传感和通信能力,体域网(body area network,BAN)属于物联网中和人体相关的领域,其应用广泛,可以在日常生活中对人们进行监测及提供帮助.行走是许多日常活动的基本环节,因而步态分析能为体域网应用提供重要的生理行为信息.现有的步态分析已取得一定的研究成果,但仍存在一些问题,例如大多数步态特征提取是对加速度信号进行6重以上的变换,使得特征达到了45维以上,最后需要通过降维或优化来简化特征,较为复杂.本文设计一种灵活便捷的数据采集系统,并利用小波变换、傅里叶变换和四分位差提取出加速度信号中比较简单、低维度但能反应运动特征的步态参数,之后通过模式识别算法进行步态行为识别验证.实验结果表明该系统使用方便,特征提取方法简单实用,识别精确度为97%,EER(equal error rate)最小可到0.9%.  相似文献

Summary Results from this study indicate that a fish density stress syndrome exists for red blood cell morphology. Smaller (by 3.5%) and rounder (by 0.6%) red blood cells were consistently found in intensive fish cultures.Acknowledgments. Summary Clomiphene reduced the body weight gain of ovariectomized rats to a much greater degree than extradiol did. Zusammenfassung Die Absonderung freier Fettsäuren aus dem Fettgewebe wurde bei verschieden alten Ratten (1. Gruppe unter 100 g, 2. Gruppe 180–300 g und 3. Gruppe 380–500 g)in vitro ermittelt. Für das Fettgewebe der Nebenhoden ergab sich in der 1. Gruppe die stärkste Absonderung freier Fettsäuren und deren wirksamste Förderung durch Epinephrin. Hingegen war der Gehalt an 3-Glyceriden in der 1. Gruppe am niedrigsten, in der 3. Gruppe am höchsten.

Summary It was found that the MPG partially protects the spleen against weight loss due to radiation, and exaggerates the compensatory reaction in the tissue during recovery.
