In modern time, with the development of the society and the intensity of competition, the demand for people of great ability is increasing. So education is becoming very important and various ways of education arise. This paper is intended to introduce the ways of how to apply movies to teaching effectively by illustration and deduction. This paper is going to take Hamlet as an example of how to teach by using movies.

Professor Jun Murai Appointed Guest Professor of Tsinghua

Professor Jun Murai, distinguished IT expert in Japan and Vice President of Keio University, was appointed Tsinghua Guest Professor on December 10, 2007. Tsinghua Deputy Vice President He Jiankun attended the conferral ceremony and presented the honorary appointment book to Professor Jun Murai. After the conferral ceremony, Professor Jun Murai delivered a speech on the Next Generation Internet. Professor Jun Murai is the Japan＇s foremost IT expert and most authoritative policy-maker on informatization and industrialization. He has made significant contributions to internet development in Japan and the Asia Pacific Region and received many awards from international organizations and the Japanese government.     

On Cultivating Students' Self-learning Ability and Application of Multimedia into College English Teaching

Multimedia teaching method has been widely used in college English teaching. It has contributed a lot to higher teaching quality. We should change our teaching ideas and recognize its impersonal attribute as one kind of teaching method. Cultivating college students' self-learning ability is the need of quality education and the requirement of life-long development of students. In this paper the author discusses how to cultivate students' self-learning ability by stimulating students' self-learning interest,training learning strategy with the modern education technology reasonably to fulfill the target of college English teaching.     

高职高专涉外护理专业病理学教学中双语教学的效果探究

Objective:Analyze and research the effects of applying bilingual education to the teaching of pathology for international nursing specialty in higher vocational college.Methods: Select 2010 and 2011 Grade students from international nursing specialty to be experimental teams and adopt bilingual education by using archival research,interviewing method,survey method and action method.As control groups,the students from general nursing specialty are taught by using traditional teaching methods.Results: The experimental students’ scores in pathology are higher than that of the control groups,so are their scores in the National Medical English Proficiency Test.Conclusion: It helps to improve students’ professional and English scores when we apply bilingual education to the teaching of pathology for international nursing specialty in higher vocational college.     

An Analysis of the obstacles in Intercultural Communication

In a word of international interdependence, the ability to understand and communicate effectively with people from other cultures takes on urgency. So if we are aware of the significant role culture plays in communication, we may not place the blame for communication failure on other people. This paper is trying to expect the readers to understand： what is intercultural communication; the potential barriers in intercultural communication; what we can do to overcome the barriers in the intercultural communication. And the prevailing problems in intercultural communication and the suggestions to higher education institutions in the hope Of improving relationships between people from different cultures.     

软件工程教育中的能力成熟度模型

Good software engineering education plays a vital role to improve the software development ability.In China,many software engineering education institutions have been established in recent years.Current research on the software engineering education is mostly focused on the certain concrete courses and body of knowledge,which lacks the view as an integrated education process.How to evaluate the institutions' education capability and how to help them to improve their capability is a critical issue.This paper describes a model for measuring the maturity of software engineering education processes,which leverages the CMM(Capability Maturity Model)of software process.We call this model SEEDU-CMM(Capability Maturity Model for Software Engineering Education).SEEDU-CMM is used to evaluate the capability of the software engineering education institutions,as well as to provide guide for them to improve their education quality.     

Retrospect and Prospect of International Garments Exhibition of Shanghai International Fashion Culture Festival

The goal of this research is to discuss International Gar-ments Exhibition of Shanghai International Fashion Cul-ture Festival which was held once a year since 1995.As amajor economic activity of Shanghai International Fash-ion Culture Festival(SIFCF),it is an important eventfor fashion industry in Shanghai and even in China.There are three parts in the paper:1)survey,the re-view of the exhibition held in the past is described brief-ly;2)Analysis,the materials and phenomena of exhibi-tions of SIFCF are analyzed to find the successful experi-ences and deficiencies,which are compared with eachother and with same events in the world;3)suggestion,some proposals of the exhibition of SIFCF in the futureare given.It would be hoped that this study will find the way for International Garments Exhibition of SIFCF toshow the features of Chinese and Shanghai's fashion in-dustry as well as to develop itself as a professional fashionexhibition conforming with international practice.

嫁接TAFE模式,实现高职国际化人才的本土培养——基于浙江工商职业技术学院的实践与探索

目前,单纯的依靠学生流动实现的国际化人才培养模式已经不能满足现实的需要。高职国际化人才的本土培养模式,即通过本土多元文化的创建来实现高职国际化人才的本土培养越来越受到重视。通过浙江工商职业技术学院依托澳大利亚职业教育中的成功模式即TAFE模式,根据中国本土经济与文化特征以及宁波的经济环境,多维度地创建国际化培养的环境,实现了国际化人才的本土培养的实践和探索,对高职国际化人才培养的内涵、模式和推广展开论述。

融入慕课资源的国际化课程体系建设探讨——以大连民族大学国际经济与贸易专业为例

慕课不仅对高等教育传统课程产生冲击,同时也给国际化课程体系建设带来契机,更给人才培养质量的提升提供了新的可能。融入丰富的在线慕课资源,对英语能力要求很高的国际经济与贸易专业进行国际化课程体系建设具有重要作用。高校要达到培养国际化人才的目标,需要在国际化课程体系中设置国际化视野课程、国际沟通能力课程、学科基础双语课程和国际事务能力等课程。应按照“强化基础英语——开设双语学科基础课程—实施全英语的专业课程并引入慕课资源”的思路和方法来加强国际化课程体系建设。
