The flabelligerid genus Flabelliderma Hartman, 1969 Hartman, O. 1969. Atlas of the sedentariate polychaetous Annelids from California, 812Los Angeles: University of Southern California, Allan Hancock Foundation.  [Google Scholar] is redefined and its type species is re‐established. In comparison with Flabelligera Sars, 1829 Sars, M. 1829. Bidrag til Söedyrenes Naturhistorie; Förste Hæfte, 60Bergen: Dahl.  [Google Scholar], the diagnostic features include the fusion of papillae forming tubercles, often adhering sediment particles, and notopodial lobes forming large ovoid lobes. Four species are described and presented as new combinations, and three others were previously undescribed; thus the species included are F. papillosa (Essenberg, 1922 Essenberg, C. E. 1922. Shenius anomalus (Shen, 1935 Shen, CJ. 1935. On some new and rare crabs of the families Pinnotheridae, Grapsidae and Ocypodidae from China. Chin J Zool., 1: 1940. 15 figures [Google Scholar]) has previously been assigned to the Macrophthalmidae Dana, 1851, and the Camptandriidae Stimpson, 1858 Serène, R. 1974. Note on the genera and species of the Camptandriinae Stimpson, 1858 (Decapoda, Brachyura: Ocypodidae). Treubia, 28(3): 59117.  [Google Scholar]. A close examination of adult and first stage zoeal morphology confirms some previous suggestions that S. anomalus is actually an anomalous member of the Dotillidae Stimpson, 1858 Serène, R. 1974. Note on the genera and species of the Camptandriinae Stimpson, 1858 (Decapoda, Brachyura: Ocypodidae). Treubia, 28(3): 59117.  [Google Scholar]. However, because a number of distinctive features distinguish it from all other dotillid genera a new subfamily Sheniinae is established.  相似文献

Re‐examination of the syntypes of Caridina gracilirostris De Man, 1892 De Man, J. G. 1892. “Decapoden des Indischen Archipels.”. In Zoologische Ergebnisse einer Reise in Niederlandisch Ost‐Indien Edited by: Weber, M. Vol. 2, 265527. Plates 15–29 [Google Scholar], shows that the type series is composed of three species. These three species are similar in the form of the rostrum, but can be differentiated easily by a combination of rostral formula and sexual appendages. To stabilize the taxonomic status of these species, a lectotype for C. gracilirostris is selected. A lectotype for Caridina appendiculata Jalihal and Shenoy, 1998 Jalihal, D. R. and Shenoy, S. 1998. “Taxonomic revision of some Indian prawn species of genus Caridina H. Milne Edward, 1837 (Atyidae).”. In Proceedings and abstracts of the Fourth International Crustacean Congress, 128129. Amsterdam, , Netherlands: The Crustacean Socrety.  [Google Scholar], is also designated from among the remaining syntypes of C. gracilirostris. A new species, C. neglecta, is described. Caridina gracilirostris and C. gracilima Lanchester, 1901 Lanchester, W. F. 1901. On the Crustacea collected during the “Skeat” expedition to the Malay Peninsula.. Proceedings of the Zoological Society of London, 1900([1901]): 533574.  [Google Scholar], are redescribed and figured, and C. appendiculata is transferred to the C. nilotica species group. A new species group is also recognized for C. gracilirostris, C. neglecta, C. gracilima, and a new species, C. longifrons. The C. gracilirostris species group is defined here as taxa possessing a rostrum with subapical teeth, fewer than 10 dorsal teeth, and without any postorbital teeth.  相似文献

Five species of the parasitic isopod genus Dactylokepon are described from brachyuran crabs and a scyllarid shrimp collected in Chinese waters. Four species are first recorded from this region, D. richardsonae Stebbing, 1910 Stebbing, T. R. R. 1910. Isopod from the Indian Ocean and British East Africa.. Reports of the Percy Sladen Trust Expedition to the Indian Ocean in 1905, under the leadership of Mr. J. Stanley Gardiner, M. A. Bryconaethiops yseuxi Boulenger, 1899 Boulenger, G. A. 1899. Matériaux pour la faune du Congo. Poissons nouveaux du Congo.. Annales du Musée du Congo, Tervuren, Zoologie 1(4: Polypères, Clupes, Mormyres, Characins), : 5996.  [Google Scholar], originally described from “Haut Congo”, is rehabilitated. The species was synonymized, successively with B. microstoma (Günther, 1873 Günther, A. 1873. New fishes from Angola.. Annals and Magazine of Natural History, London (Series 4), 12(68): 142144. [Taylor & Francis Online] [Google Scholar]) and B. macrops Boulenger, 1920 Boulenger, G. A. 1920. Poissons recueillis au Congo belge par l'expédition du Dr. C. Christy.. Annales du Musée du Congo (Série 1), 2(4): 138.  [Google Scholar], subsequently rehabilitated, and then again considered as a junior synonym of B. microstoma. Bryconaethiops yseuxi is here considered as a valid species, easily distinguished from all other Bryconaethiops species by its small size (maximum: 72.2 mm SL), 7.5 rows of scales between the dorsal‐fin origin and the lateral line; 11–13/1/8–12 gill rakers on the first gill arch and long dorsal‐fin and anal‐fin bases, respectively, 15.7–17.6% of SL and 22.7–25.9% of SL.  相似文献

Females and males of two South Palearctic Cyclops, C. ankyrae Mann, 1940 Mann, A. K. 1940. Über pelagische Copepoden türkischer Seen (mit Berücksichtigung des übrigen Planktons).. Internat Rev Hydrobiol., 40: 187.  [Google Scholar] and C. abyssorum divergens Lindberg, 1936 Lindberg, K. 1936. Notes sur des Cyclopides (Crustacés Copépodes) de l'Iran.. Bull Mus R Hist Nat Belg., 12(17): 126.  [Google Scholar] are redescribed, and their taxonomic relationships are discussed. Cyclops ankyrae can be distinguished from congeners by the spine formula of the terminal exopodal segments (2433), distinct anal operculum, bare proctodeum, presence of a longitudinal row of large spinules near the palp on the frontal surface of the mandibular coxopodite, spinule ornamentation of the maxilliped coxopodite, presence of hairs on the caudal surface of P3–P4 couplers, and lack of large spinules on the frontal surface of the P1 basipodite. Cyclops abyssorum divergens differs from C. abyssorum s. str. in the relatively short inner median caudal seta, reduced spinule ornamentation on the caudal surface of P4 coxopodite, and presence of large spinules on the maxillular palp. Cyclops singularis Einsle, 1996 is synonymized here with C. a. divergens Lindberg, 1936 Lindberg, K. 1936. Notes sur des Cyclopides (Crustacés Copépodes) de l'Iran.. Bull Mus R Hist Nat Belg., 12(17): 126.  [Google Scholar]. The geographic distribution of C. a. divergens is revised.  相似文献
