Without the 'rigid lid' assumption, the depth-averaged linear k-ε model can describe the change of water depth. However, it is incapable of accurately simul ating turbulent flows, where the normal Reynolds stresses play an important role. A de pth-averaged nonlinear k-ε model is developed taking into account the stress relations described by Speziale. The depth-averaged linear and nonlinear k-ε models can both be used to calculate the flow field near a side discharge into open-channel flo w, but the results of the nonlinear model are in much closer agreement with experimental re sults. Furthermore, the technique of changing the 2D linear k-ε program i nto a depth-averaged, nonlinear program is presented.  相似文献

Partition-based Low Power DFT Methodology for System-on-chips   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
This paper presents a partition-based Design-for- Test (DFT) technique to reduce the power consumption during scan-based testing. This method is based on partitioning the chip into several independent scan domains. By enabling the scan domains alternatively, only a fraction of the entire chip will be active at the same time, leading to low power consumption during test. Therefore, it will significantly reduce the possibility of Electronic Migration and Overheating. In order to prevent the drop of fault coverage, wrappers on the boundaries between scan domains are employed. This paper also presents a detailed design flow based on Electronics Design Automation (EDA) tools from Synopsy~ to implement the proposed test structure. The proposed DFT method is experimented on a state-of-theart System-ou-chips (SOC). The simulation results show a significant reduction in both average and peak power dissipation without sacrificing the fault coverage and test time. This SOC has been taped out in TSMC and finished the final test m ADVANTEST.  相似文献

The paper presents a class of nonlinear adaptive wavelet transforms for lossless image compression. In update step of the lifting the different operators are chosen by the local gradient of original image. A nonlinear morphological predictor follows the update adaptive lifting to result in fewer large wavelet coefficients near edges for reducing coding. The nonlinear adaptive wavelet transforms can also allow perfect reconstruction without any overhead cost. Experiment results are given to show lower entropy of the adaptive transformed images than those of the non-adaptive case and great applicable potentiality in lossless image compression.  相似文献

Current uplink power control algorithm of code division multiple access (CDMA) time division duplex(TDD) system contains signal-to-interference-ratio(SIR) and interference measurement, which is based on history information. However, the adjustment of transmission power of one user equipment(UE) will affect SIR of the others, because the power control is done independently of the power adjustment of other UE's. So the convergence speed of power control is not fast and the system performance degrades. In the proposed algorithm, all UE's assigned in same time slot adjust their transmission power based on current information, which takes into account the adjustments of transmission power of all UE's. This paper presents an efficient recovery scheme suitable for real-time main memory database. In the recovery scheme, log records are stored in non-volatile RAM which is divided into four different partitions based on transaction types. Similarly, a main memory database is divided into four partitions based data types. When the using ratio of log store area exceeds the threshold value, checkpoint procedure is triggered. During executing checkpoint procedure, some useless log records are deleted. During restart recovery after a crash, partition reloading policy is adopted to assure that critical data are reloaded and restored in advance, so that the database system can be brought up before the entire database is reloaded into main memory. Therefore down time is obvionsly reduced. Simulation experiments show our recovery scheme obviously improves the system performance,and does a favor to meet the deadlines of real-time transactions.  相似文献

The ambitious nuclear power program motivates the Chinese nuclear community to develop advanced reactor concepts of generation IV, in order to ensure the longterm, stable and sustainable development of nuclear power. The supercritical watercooled reactor (SCWR) has favorable features in economics, sustainability and technology availability. It is the logical extension of the existing PWR technology and has very promising perspectives in largescale power generation in China. This paper describes the main features of SCWR. New designs of SCWR core structure and fuel assemblies are proposed. Support vector machines (SVM) have been widely used in pattern recognition and have also drawn considerable interest in control areas. Based on rolling optimization method and on-line learning strategies, a novel approach based on weighted least squares support vector machines (WLS-SVM) is proposed for nonlinear dynamic modeling. A 4 Mb embedded silicon-oxide-nitride-oxide-silicon (SONOS) memory was developed with a 0.18 μm CMOS logic compatible technology. A reverse programming array architecture was proposed to reduce the chip area, enhance the operating window, and increase the read speed. The charge distribution was analyzed to optimize the programming and erase conditions considering both the operating speed and the endurance performance. The final test chip has a good endurance of 105 cycles and a data retention time of at least 10 years.  相似文献

The compression characteristics of green sand were investigated experimentally, including the squeezing and yielding during deformation. An expression was developed for the transient compression modulus of sand during compression. Based on the hypothesis put forward of the compression state, the differential equation for the nonlinear constitutive equation was deduced by introducing a move-yield potential function. The state constitutive equation under the tri-axial experiment is further studied according to the sand attributes, considering the differential form of Hooke‘s law and the Mohr-Coulomb condition. Based on the idea of nonlinear prediction of phase space reconstruction, this paper presented a time delay BP neural network model, whose generalization capability was improved by Bayesian regularization. Furthermore, the model is applied to forecast the import and export trades in one industry. The results showed that the improved model has excellent generalization capabilities, which not only learned the historical curve, but efficiently predicted the trend of business. Comparing with common evaluation of forecasts, we put on a conclusion that nonlinear forecast can not only focus on data combination and precision improvement, it also can vividly reflect the nonlinear characteristic of the forecas ting system. While analyzing the forecasting precision of the model, we give a model judgment by calculating the nonlinear characteristic value of the combined serial and original serial, proved that the forecasting model can reasonably catch' the dynamic characteristic of the nonlinear system which produced the origin serial.  相似文献

A real-time animation technique for a kind of non-rigid objects,flexible and thin objects,is proposed,which can update with statility the state of n mass points of the mass-spring(MS) model with time complexity of O(n).The new implicit numerical integration technique of the authors,which is based on a simple approximation of the linear system,has great advantages over the existing implicit integration methods.Moreover,experiment shows that the new thechnique is highly efficient in animating a kind of non-rigid objects,and suitable for the draping module of the 3D garment CAD system.  相似文献
