Fuzzy AHP Analysis of Influence Factors of TBT on Mechanical and Electronic Products

In recent years, technical barriers to trade （TBT） are limiting the export of the mechanical and electronic products in China. Considering the practical export situation of China＇s mechanical and electronic products, we form the fuzzy matrix of factors influencing the export of mechanical and electronic products according to the concept of the triangular fuzzy number. Then we use fuzzy analytic hierarchy process （AHP） to analyze and rate all the factors. We also put forward suggestions on how to keep away and surpass the technical barriers to trade in Chinese mechanical and electronic enterprises.

The Influences of FDI on China＇s Economy

During the past 30 years, China has attracted huge amounts of Foreign Direct Investment （FDI） inflows and FDI firms have become an important element of the Chinese economy. The paper discusses the influence of FDI on China＇s economy, summarizes the analysis of the external effects of FDI and focuses on the domestic effects of FDI.     

The Grey Relational Analysis （GRA） of Influence Factors on Exports in China

There are many factors influencing export in China, such as the supply in domestic market, the market openness in China, the demand in overseas market, exchange rate and so on. Since the late of 1990＇s, non-tariff barriers such as antidumping, safeguard measures and technical barriers to trade （TBT） have become the main factors. We analyze the influence factors and the degree of the influence about exports in China by the Grey Relational Analysis （GRA） and put forward countermeasures for enterprises.     

The Technology Selection and Critical Successful Factors in the Information Technology （IT） Growth of Manufacturing Corporations in China

With the rapid development of the information technology （IT） and the more competitive environment of the corporations, IT is not only important for the enterprises tactically but also strategically, We extend the concept of the critical success factors （CSF） and Nolan＇s stages theory to identify the IT issues and measure their CSF of the manufacturers in China. We put forward the IT selection matrix based on Nolan＇s stages theory to analyze the IT application in manufacturers in Beijing based on our survey. We analyze the development of IT, IT selection strategy and the CSF influencing the IT growth of manufacturers in China.

Cluster Analysis in the Target Countries of China＇s International Oil Investment

China＇s oil demand has been skyrocketed. In 2004 China became the world＇s second largest oil consumer and imported 122.7 million tons of crude oil, which accounted for 41.9% of China＇s crude oil consumption. International oil investment becomes an important channel for China to obtain oil resource. The cluster analysis in the target countries of China＇s international oil investment is studied here. An investment environment model incorporating 9 factors is established firstly, the order of these factors is ranked by their importance. Then the weight of such factors is determined by Analytic Hierarchy Process （AHP） and these countries are classified into 3 categories using cluster analysis. The results provide an important decision-making tool for China＇s international oil investment.     

Comparison between several satellite constellation schemes for MEO-TDRSS of China

The satellite constellation classes, which are suitable for the medium earth orbit tracking and data relay satellite system （MEO-TDRSS） of China, are investigated. On the basis of the functionality and the traffic distribution characteristic of MEO-TDRSS, the coverage performance and inter-satellite link properties of four different constellation schemes are compared by simulations. Simulation results indicate that the rosette and common-track constellations, whose satellites are distributed on the celestial sphere more uniformly, are appropriate for the implementation of MEO-TDRSS of China.

Rebuilding of the Diamond Model Based on Evolutionary Economics and Demonstration of Industrial Clusters in China

The Industrial Clusters show more competitive advantage in the world obviously since 1970＇s, which attracts extensive attention from all over the world. As the most important researches of the New Economic Geography, Poter＇s diamond model generalizes the internal mechanism of clusters, but the model has not given the microcosmic status of the factors of the clusters, therefore, it is significant to go deeper into the diamond model and the dissertation wishes to do some researches deeply. Based on the actuality of research, this paper surveys Porter＇s diamond model from the Evolutionary Economics, and combines the research of the field with the instance in China, then puts forward the diamond model of twin-screw and implements the model into traditional industrial clusters in Zheiiang province. Detailed explaining is as follows. The main innovations of the dissertation are as follows： （1） having taken the points of biology into economics, and developing the Evolutionary Economics creatively; （2） having proved the diamond model, put forward a twin-screw microcosmic model for the first time, and tried to study the dynamic and solid relationships of each factor in the diamond model, which is the most important innovation of the dissertation.     

FORECASTING ：EXCHANGE RATES： AN OPTIMAL APPROACH

This paper looks at forecasting daily exchange rates for the United Kingdom, European Union, and China. Here, the authors evaluate the forecasting performance of neural networks （NN）, vector singular spectrum analysis （VSSA）, and recurrent singular spectrum analysis （RSSA） for fore casting exchange rates in these countries. The authors find statistically significant evidence based on the RMSE, that both VSSA and RSSA models outperform NN at forecasting the highly unpredictable exchange rates for China. However, the authors find no evidence to suggest any difference between the forecasting accuracy of the three models for UK and EU exchange rates.     

Lower Partial Moments as Measures of Perceived Risk： An Experimental Study in China

The paper reports an experiment in China on individual investors＇ risk perception. The main findings are similar with the results in Matthias （2000）, but the absolute value of correlation coefficients between risk measures and risk ratings are higher.     

Study of detection performance of passive bistatic radars based on FM broadcast

The passive bistatic radar based on the FM broadcast has inherent superiority with respect to its survivability. In this article, the ambiguity function （AF） and the cross ambiguity function （CAF） of the FM radio signal are analyzed and illustrated. The Kolmogorov Smirnov （K-S） test verifies that the amplitude probability density function of the CAF side lobes is exponential; the distribution of the target is also deduced. Finally, the detection performance of the passive radar is studied, and the result shows that this new type bistatic radar has favorable detection capability.     

Risk Analysis of the Bond Portfolio Price Sensitivity

The paper described three methods of scaling the bond portfolio price. They were duration, convexity and time value. From the principle of No-arbitrage, there was one and only one relationship of duration, convexity and time value. It chose three corporation bonds of China and analyzed the risk of two investment strategies.
