Garment online shopping has been accepted by more and more consumers in recent years. In online shopping, a buyer only chooses the garment size judged by his own experience without trying-on, so the selected garment may not be the fittest one for the buyer due to the variety of body's figures. Thus, we propose a method of optimal selection of garment sizes for online shopping based on Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). The hierarchical structure model for optimal selection of garment sizes is structured and the fittest garment for a buyer is found by calculating the matching degrees between individual's measurements and the corresponding key-part values of ready-to-wear clothing sizes. In order to demonstrate its feasibility, we provide an example of selecting the fittest sizes of men's bottom. The result shows that the proposed method is useful in online clothing sales application.  相似文献

As for the theory and method in garment structural design according to human figures, a principle for garment design, i. e. body-fitting without added allowance, and a combination of draping and planar design (DPD hereunder) for young ladies has been put forward, and, also, a DPD garment prototype for them has been established. After a review of the planar garment effect production of pattern fabric and a brief introduction of the concept of texture mapping, the theory of 2D texture mapping onto 3D surface is stated. And the calculation procedures of texture mapping, such as texture image preprocess, mannequin and garment surface modeling, mapping relationship definition, shading/texturing model creation, and graphic transformation, are exploited to produce a real 3D garment rendering effect. An artificial neural network is used to predict the performance of fabrics in clothing manufacturing. The predictions are based on fabric mechanical properties measured on the FAST system. The influences of the different ANN‘s construct on the convergence speed and the prediction accuracy are investigated. The result indicates that the BP neural network is an efficiency technique and has a wide prospect in the application to garment processing.  相似文献

With the increase of style variation, decrease of lot size and shortening of lead-time, production planning becomes a big problem in clothing industry. It was found that changeover cost is one of key factors in garment production. In this paper, based on time measurement and the data collected, considering the relevant elements such as previous experience, lot size, number of lines, the effect of changeover cost on garment production is calculated and analyzed. In recent years, supply chain management (SCM) has been in popularity as a new management philosophy for all industries, including textile and apparel industries. The textile-apparel supply chain is relatively complex because it encompasses many participants such as yarn manufacturers, fabric manufacturers, garment manufacturers and retailers. Although many scholars are engaged in researching SCM in textile and apparel industries, a systematic classification of textile-apparel chain does not exist. The paper proposes three types of textile-apparel chain, nominated vertical integration chain, traditional sourcing chain and 3P-hub (third party as the hub) chain. Different coordinators exist in different types of chain. Three Hong Kong headquartered companies, Esquel Group, TAL Apparel Ltd., and Li & Fang (Trading) Ltd. are used as cases responding to each type of the structures respectively.  相似文献

After an introduction to the history of brand promotion in China, the paper points out that China's garment industry is undergoing the change from branding manufacturing to innovation. The shift is going along with the transition in the industry from comparative advantage to competitive advantage. On the base of studying the modeling technique of man-nequin and garment curved surface with non-uniform rational B-spline(NURBS),several methods of mannequin data pickup on 2D screen are proposed.A garment style creating method,which gets the key points for garment style modeling by drawing panel contour aroundthe mannequin on the screen and calculating the offset value between the body and the garment,is presented.Then 3D garment styles can be easily modeled with the key points and interactively modified.  相似文献
