2013年,中国梦的火焰又一次被点燃。新的一年,本刊有新的斯待,孜孜学人也将有新的收获。正如英国哲学家培根所总结的:"善于在做一件事的开端识别时机,这是一种极难得的智慧。"我国著名科学家竺可桢曾说:"科学精神只问是非,不计利害。"所谓的科学精神就是这样一种实事求是的精神。为了坚守学术阵地,为了弘扬科学精神,古今中外的先哲们不断地拓展了自己的生命时空。德国著名作家歌德曾在诗里写道:"我的产业是多么美,多么广,多么宽,时间是我的财产,我的田地是时间。"他是这样说的,

兔腾大地清辉万里，金龙下界大展宏图。2012年本刊第一期付印之际，龙年的春节就要到了，感慨颇多。据专家们的考证，春节过年的习俗，竟来源于这么一个惊心动魄的场景：在远古，有一独角怪兽，名曰“年”。每当隆冬腊月之时，它便出来残害人们。为了生存，人们围拥在一起，并燃起熊熊的簧火，以火光和群体的力量，吓退“年”的攻击。
