In this work, we made progress on the problem that [ symbol: see text] is a Banach algebra under schur product. Our results extend Tonge's results. We also obtained estimates for the norm of the random quadralinear form A:l(r)(M) x l(p)(N) x l(q)(K) x l(s)(H)-->C, defined by: A(e(i), e(j), e(k), e(s))=a(ijks), where the (a(ijks))'s are uniformly bounded, independent, mean zero random variables. Active galactic nuclei and quasars are thought to be scaled-up versions of Galactic black hole binaries, powered by accretion onto supermassive black holes with masses of 10(6)-10(9) M[symbol: see text], as opposed to the approximately 10 M [symbol: see text] in binaries (here M [symbol: see text] is the solar mass). One example of the similarities between these two types of systems is the characteristic rapid X-ray variability seen from the accretion flow. The power spectrum of this variability in black hole binaries consists of a broad noise with multiple quasi-periodic oscillations superimposed on it. Although the broad noise component has been observed in many active galactic nuclei, there have hitherto been no significant detections of quasi-periodic oscillations. Here we report the discovery of an approximately 1-hour X-ray periodicity in a bright active galaxy, RE J1034+396. The signal is highly statistically significant (at the 5.6 sigma level) and very coherent, with quality factor Q > 16. The X-ray modulation arises from the direct vicinity of the black hole.  相似文献

RR Lyrae pulsating stars have been extensively used as tracers of old stellar populations for the purpose of determining the ages of galaxies, and as tools to measure distances to nearby galaxies. There was accordingly considerable interest when the RR Lyrae star OGLE-BLG-RRLYR-02792 (referred to here as RRLYR-02792) was found to be a member of an eclipsing binary system, because the mass of the pulsator (hitherto constrained only by models) could be unambiguously determined. Here we report that RRLYR-02792 has a mass of 0.26 solar masses M[symbol see text] and therefore cannot be a classical RR Lyrae star. Using models, we find that its properties are best explained by the evolution of a close binary system that started with M[symbol see text] and 0.8M[symbol see text]stars orbiting each other with an initial period of 2.9 days. Mass exchange over 5.4 billion years produced the observed system, which is now in a very short-lived phase where the physical properties of the pulsator happen to place it in the same instability strip of the Hertzsprung-Russell diagram as that occupied by RR Lyrae stars. We estimate that only 0.2 per cent of RR Lyrae stars may be contaminated by systems similar to this one, which implies that distances measured with RR Lyrae stars should not be significantly affected by these binary interlopers.  相似文献

Let G be a finite group and π be a set of primes including at least two elements. We write cd(G) and cs(G) to denote the set of complex irreducible character degrees and conjugacy class sizes of G , respectively, and write π(m)to denote the set of all prime divisors of a positive integer m . For any 1≠m∈cd(G) and 1≠m∈cs(G), in this note, we shall present the corresponding group structures of finite group G in the case π(m)=π , respectively, which generalizes the result of finite groups with character degrees of two distinct primes. [M(CN)8]n-(M=Mo,W,Nb;n=3,4)是一类重要的磁性材料构筑单元.化合物(C6H6N3)4[Mo(CN)8].H2O的晶体结构属于三斜晶系的P1-空间群,其不对称单元由1个[Mo(CN)8]4-,4个质子化的苯并三唑有机阳离子C6H6N3+和1个结晶水组成.[Mo(CN)8]4-离子中,Mo中心处于扭曲的反四棱柱配位环境.8个未配位的氰基氮原子作为氢键的受体,有机阳离子上质子化的氮原子和结晶水作为氢键的给体,形成了丰富的氢键作用,这些氢键作用连同部分有机阳离子间的π-π堆积、阴阳离子间的静电力和Van Der Waals力构筑成三维超分子网络.  相似文献

设G是有限群,Z是整数环,ZG是G在Z上的整群环,G的所有诱导了ZG上的内自同构的自同构构成了一个群,记为AutZ(G)。令outZ(G)=AutZ(G)/Inn(G),其中Inn(G)是G的内自同构群。我们证明了如果G有直积分解,那么AutZ(G)和OutZ(G)也有直积分解。作为该结果的一个直接推论,我们得到了G有正规化子性质当且仅当它的直因子有正规化子性质,从而推广了文献[1]中的相应结果。  相似文献
