A new compressibility modification k-ε model,including shock unsteadiness effect and the previous compressibility modification of pressure dilatation and dilatational dissipation rate,was developed with a simple formulation for numerical simulation in supersonic complex turbulent flows.The shock unsteadiness effect was modeled by inhibiting turbulent kinetic energy production in the governing equations of turbulent kinetic energy and the turbulent kinetic energy dissipation rate.Sarkar's correction models were employed accounting for the dilatational compressibility effects in the new model.Two types of flows,the free supersonic mixing layers and complex supersonic flow with transverse injection were simulated with different flow conditions.Comparisons with experimental data of the free supersonic mixing layers showed that the new compressibility modification k-ε model significantly inhibited the excessive growth of turbulent kinetic energy and improved predictions.On the supersonic mixing layer flows,prediction results with the new model were in close agreement with experimental data,accurately predicting the decreasing trend of the mixing layer spreading rate with the increase of the convective Mach number.Due to the complicated flow field with flow separation,shock unsteadiness modification inhibited excessive growth of the turbulent kinetic energy in shock regions and wider shock regions are predicted,thereby significantly improving results of the flow with a strong separation forecast.The flow separation was stronger,which was the primary modification effect of the new model.Predictions accord with experimental results even in strong separation flows. 相似文献

The simulating wave nearshore (SWAN) wave model has been widely used in coastal areas, lakes and estuaries. However, we found a poor agreement between modeling results and measurements in analyzing the chosen four typical cases when we used the default parameters of the source function formulas of the SWAN to make wave simulation for the Bohai Sea. Also, it was found that at the same wind process the simulated results of two wind generation expressions (Komen, Janssen) demonstrated a large difference. Further study showed that the proportionality coefficient α in linear growth term of wave growth source function plays an unperceived role in the process of wave development. Based on experiments and analysis, we thought that the coefficient α should change rather than be a constant. Therefore, the coefficient α changing with the variation of friction velocity U* was introduced into the linear growth term of wave growth source function. Four weather processes were adopted to validate the improvement in the linear growth term. The results from the improved coefficient α agree much better with the measurements than those from the default constant coefficient α. Furthermore, the large differences of results between Komen wind generation expression and Janssen wind generation expression were eliminated. We also experimented with the four weather processes to test the new white-capping mechanisms based on the cumulative steepness method. It was found that the parameters of the new white-capping mechanisms are not suitable for the Bohai Sea, but Alkyon's white-capping mechanisms can be applicable to the Bohai Sea after amendments, demonstrating that this improvement of parameter α can improve the simulated results of the Bohai Sea. 相似文献

In order to find the electroencephalogram (EEG) characteristic parameters typical of Alzheimer’s disease (AD) and explore an effective diagnostic method, a new mobile current multipole model was proposed to simulate the AD patient’s cortical dipole source activities. The indicators of goodness of fit (GOF) and DtononD (DD) were calculated from EEG samples to evaluate the performance of this model. Relevant results showed that this multipole model with higher GOF values and larger DD change well fitted the pathological electrical activities of cortical neurons aroused by AD’s extended sulcus and gyrus in the cerebral cortex. Meanwhile, the products of DD mean & standard variance were found in a clear linear correlation with the diagnostic data of mini-mental state examination (MMSE) used in AD clinics. Furthermore, by tracing this multipole model’s indicators in typical patients and contrasting with the functional magnetic resonance image (fMRI) as AD progressed, we suggested that the DD index may be suitable for monitoring the AD developments as a new diagnostic parameter. 相似文献

A laboratory method combining the high-energy mechanical ball milling and high static pressure has been suggested for modelling synthesis of coesite in the Earth’s crust. A window of milling time, a mechanical collision-induced intermediate phase of α-quartz and its condition of easily crystallizing into coesite under the condition of 3.0 GPa, 923 K, < 1.0 min have been discovered. The new method needs much shorter synthesizing time and lower synthesizing critical pressure than those used before. The Raman spectra for the coesite synthesized by the present method have covered all the information of those natural and synthesized coesites reported before. It is demonstrated that this method has a great potential in geo-science research and implied the other possible mechanism of coesite formation in the Earth’s crust. 相似文献

The hydraulic fracture in rock salt is a complicated solid fluid and mass transfer coupling process. Through theoretical analysis, a solid fluid and mass transfer coupling mathematical model of hydraulic fracture in rock salt is established in this work, and numerical simulations are carried out with the model. The simulation results indicate that rock salt cracks in the typical way of wing-crack(or tensile crack) during the fracture, and the relation of fracture aperture (w) with expanding distance (x) and fracture time (t) is w=(0.0034+0.0006t)e(0.0007+0.0018t)x. Furthermore, it has been found that both the water pressure in the crack and the expanding velocity of the crack decrease gradually as a result of the influence of salt dissolving during fracturing. These numerical simulations well illustrate the process of hydraulic fracture in rock salt and are significantly meaningful in engineering practice. 相似文献

A new type of triploid hybrids (TC) was produced by crossing red crucian carp (♀) with allotetraploid hybrids (♂). This type of triploids with no barbel was spindle-shaped and gray in color. Compared with their parents, some data of the morphological traits in the triploid hybrids were intermediate to those of their parents, and some were beyond their parents with heterozygous traits. Under the same culture conditions, the growth rate of the new type triploids was faster than their maternal red crucian carp (RC). The gonadal development of triploids was obviously slower than that of diploids, and the germ cells in them were degenerated. Compared with another type of triploids produced by Japanese crucian carp (♀) with allotetraploid hybrids (♂), the new type triploids not only kept faster growth rate and sterility, but also had no barbel that was similar to the common carp. The absence of the barbel in the new type of triploids has the important significance in both the inheritance and fish breeding. 相似文献

The diagnosis of prostate diseases by magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) in vivo is sometimes difficult for the lower signal to noise ratio (SNR). To increase the SNR of the prostate image, we designed a RF coil that can be inserted into rectum and was named endorectal coil. The properties of RF coil were evaluated using a network analyzer. Moreover the images and spectroscopy of a special phantom were acquired and the results were compared to those of the commercial TORSO coil (G.E. Medical Systems, USA). Our coil gave a significantly higher SNR at the region of interest (ROI). The achieved high local SNR and resulting high spatial resolution would add more anatomic and biochemical information to the diagnosis of prostate diseases. 相似文献
