分析了一种不完全信息协商模型．在这个模型中，一方的交易费用是共同知识，另一方的交易费用是私有信息．一个合理的猜测被提出，在这个猜测假设下，本文刻划了协商模型的序贯平衡．最后与其它猜测假设下的协商模型的序贯平衡结果进行了比较     

A MODEL FOR THE“MAXIMUM CAPACITY” OF ROOMS OR OF SPACE

A discrete optimum mathematical model to derive the "maximum capacity" of people in a roomor in a space used for public gatherings is developed. There are two outcomes in the model. One isfocused on whether the person farthest from exits can escape from the room. The other concentrateson the evacuation time of all the people in the room. According to the results of the two outcomes, amore reasonable "maximum capacity" can be worked out in a simple way.

LIFE DISTRIBUTION OF SERIES UNDER THE SUCCESSIVE DAMAGE MODEL

We analyse further the reliability behaviour of series and parallel systems in the successive damage model initiated by Downton. The results are compared with those obtained for other models with different bivariate distributions.     

PERIODIC SOLUTIONS AND PERIOD-SIMILARITY OF A GROWTH MODEL WITH AGE-STRUCTURED POPULATION

The present paper deals with the periodic behaviours of an age-structured populationmodel.The period-similarity is proposed,which reveals a certain similar structure between thosepopulation models with distinct age structure.In addition,other results show that the fluctuations ofan age-structured population are closely related with the age structure.

本文的目的是同排队论模型来研究一人多机生产系统的产出率及相互之间的关系问题。在该系统中１名工人同时看管两台机器，两种工件分别在两台机器上被手工加工和机器自动加工。设两种加工时间分别服从参数不同的负指数分布，其中一种工件的到达服从普阿松分布。两种排队规划将被考虑：交替规则和优先规则。     

A STAGE-STRUCTURED SI ECO-EPIDEMIOLOGICAL MODEL WITH TIME DELAY AND IMPULSIVE CONTROLLING*

This paper formulates a robust stage-structured SI eco-epidemiological model with periodic constant pulse releasing of infectious pests with pathogens. The authors show that the conditions for global attractivity of the ＇pest-eradication＇ periodic solution and permanence of the system depend on time delay, hence, the authors call it ＂profitless＂. Further, the authors present a pest management strategy in which the pest population is kept under the economic threshold level （ETL） when the pest population is uniformly persistent. By numerical analysis, the authors also show that constant maturation time delay for the susceptible pests and pulse releasing of the infectious pests can bring obvious effects on the dynamics of system.     

THE GLOBAL STABILITY OF A COMPETINGCHEMOSTAT MODEL WITH DELAYED NUTRIENT RECYCLING

In this paper, by applying the method of Liapunov functionals we study the global stability of the positive equilibrium of a competing chemostat model with delayed nutrient recycling. The sufficient conditions of the global stability (involved in average time delay or not) are obtained.

CONFIDENCE LOWER LIMITS FOR RESPONSE PROBABILITIES UNDER THE LOGISTIC RESPONSE MODEL

The lower confidence limits for response probabilities based on binary response data under the logistic response model are considered by saddlepoint approach. The high order approximation to the conditional distribution of a statistic for an interested parameter and then the lower confidence limits of response probabilities are derived. A simulation comparing these lower confidence limits with those obtained from the asymptotic normality is conducted. The proposed approximation is applied to two real data sets. Numerical results show that the saddlepoint approximations are much more accurate than the asymptotic normality approximations, especially for the cases of small or moderate sample sizes.

In this paper, we study a single-period two-product inventory model with stochastic demands and downward substitution. The optimal order quantities are presented and some properties are provided. Comparing with newsboy model, we prove that both the profit and the fill rate can be improved by using the substitution policy.

A MATHEMATICAL PROGRAMMING MODEL FOR THE COEXISTENCE OF COMPETITIONS AND COOPERATIONS PROBLEMS

We study in this paper a mathematical programming model for the coexistence of competitions and cooperations problems. We introduce a new solution concept, s-optimal solution for the problem, which always exists under compact and continuous conditions. It is shown that an s-optimal solution can be obtained by solving a nonlinear programming problem. Some examples are given to explain how to compute an s-optimal solution.

ON PRICING MODEL OF THE RESET OPTION WITH N PREDETERMINED LEVELS

Motivated by the reset option with n predetermined dates analyzed by W.Cheng, we consider a kind of reset option with uncertain dates by introducing N pre-specified barrier levels. We claim this reset option consists of some standard knock-in andknock-out barrier options. The closed-form pricing formula is derived by means of a PDE's approach.
