The photodegradation of bisphenol A (BPA) in aqueous solution containing metal ions and ascorbic acid (AsA) was investigated.
After strong irradiation, the aqueous solution containing AsA and Cu2+ could produce hydroxyl radicals that induced the photodegradation of BPA. The photodegradation efficiency of BPA in the solution
containing 70 μmol·L−1 Cu2+ and 15 mg·L−1 AsA reached 59% at pH 6.0 after 4 hours irradiation with high pressure mercury lamp. The photodegradation efficiency of BPA
reached 10% after 4 hours irradiation with daylight lamp in the presence of 70 μmol·L−1 Cu2+ and 15 mg·L−1 ascorbic acid. BPA was not degraded in the aqueous solution only containing AsA or Cu2+. The BPA photodegradation in aqueous solution containing AsA and Fe3+ was weaker than in aqueous solution that containing AsA and Cu2+ at the same concentration. This work showed a new route of the BPA photodegradation in aqueous environment.

The fluorescence intensity of the europium (III)-tetracycline (TC) complex can be greatly increased by TOPO, TBP, TTA and
surfactans, among which TOPO showed the greatest enhancement. The formation of ternary complex was proposed to be responsible
for the fluorescence enhancement. The Eu (III)-TOPO-TC system can be applied to the determination of trace amounts of tetracycline
in urinous sample; the maximum fluorescence intensity was obtained in the pH range of 8.2∼9.5 with excitation and emission
wave-lengths at 396 nm and 616 nm, respectively. The linear range for tetracycline is 6.0×10−9−5.0×10−7 mol·L−1. The detection limit is 2.0×10−9 mol·L−1(SNR=3). Experimental conditions and the mechanism of the enhancement effect are discussed.

The synergistic effect of tetrabutylammonium cation (TBA+) or N-hexadecylpyridinium cation (HDP+) and SCN− or I− in 0.5 mol·L−1 H2SO4 solution on the corrosion inhibition of Armco iron was investigated by potentiodynamic polarization and polarization resistance
measurements. The results show that the synergistic effect of HDP+ containing π-electron and anion is stronger than that of TBA+ and anion. The joint adsorption models of cation and anion at electrode-solution interface are related to the structure and
property of both ions by analyzing the desorption behaviours of both ions when the electrode is polarized anodically.

Optimization of operation conditions for extracting lithium ions from calcium chloride-type oil field brine

Al(OH)3 was prepared to extract lithium ions from calcium chloride-type oil field brine. The influences of four factors, namely temperature, Al3+/Li+ molar ratio, OH-/Al3+ molar ratio, and contact time between Al(OH)3 and the brine, on the yield of lithium ions were investigated. It is found that their optimal values are 35℃, 4.5, 2.6, and 6 h, respectively. In the course of the experiment, the apparent pH value was observed. The results reveal that the apparent pH value has no remarkable influence on the yield of lithium ions. Meanwhile, the effects of the concentrations of calcium ions and magnesium ions in the brine on lithium recovery were studied. The results indicate that calcium ions have minor negative influence on the yield of lithium ions under optimal conditions, and magnesium ions slightly influence the yield of lithium ions. 相似文献

A novel material MnO2 nanosheet has been used as the support matrix for the immobilization of horseradish peroxidase (HRP). HRP entrapped in MnO2 nanosheet film exhibits facile direct electron transfer with the electron transfer rate constant of 6.86 s^-1. The HRP/MnO2 nanosheet film gives a reversible redox couple with the apparent formal peak potential (E^0') of -0.315 V (vs. Ag/AgCl) in pH 6.5 phosphate buffer solution (PBS). The formal potential E^0' of HRP shifts linearly with pH with a slope of -53.75 mV.pH^-1, denoting that an electron transfer accompanies single-proton transportation. The immobilized HRP shows an electrocatslytic activity to the reduction of H2O2. The response time of the biosensor for H2O2 is less than 3 s, and the detection limit is 0.21 μmol · L^-1 based on signal/noise = 3. 相似文献

An electrochemical method for the simultaneous determination of lead(II) and Cadmium(II) with a calix[6]arene modified carbon
paste electrode (CPE) has been developed. Pb2+ and Cd2+ were accumulated at the surface of the modified electrode via formation of chemical complexes with calix[6]arene, and reduced
at 1.40 V. During the following anodic potential sweep, reduced lead and cadmium were oxidized, and two well-defined striping
peaks appeared at about −0.60 V and −0.84 V. Compared with a bare carbon paste electrode, the calix[6]arene modified CPE greatly
improves the sensitivity of determining lead and cadmium. The stripping peak currents change linearly with the concentration
of Pb2+ 3.0×10−8–8.0×10−6 mol·L−1 and with that of Cd2+ 6.0×10−8–1.0×10−5 mol ·L−1. The detection limits of Pb2+ and Cd2+ are found to be 8.0×10−9 mol·L−1 and 2.0×10−8 mol·L−1, respectively. The modified carbon paste electrode was applied to determine trace levels of lead and cadmium in water samples.
Comparing with that of atomic absorption spectrometry, the results suggests that the calix[6]arene modified CPE has great
potential for the practical sample analysis.

This paper presents a new method of recycling aluminum and iron in boiler slag derived from plants that use coal as fuel. The new method integrates efficient extraction and reuse of the leached pellets together. An elemental analysis of aqueous solutions leached by sulfuric acid was determined by EDTA-Naz-ZnCl2 titration method. The components and microstructures of the samples were examined by means of XRF, XRD and SEM. An aluminum extraction efficiency of 86.50% was achieved when the sintered pellets were leached using 4 mol · L^- 1 H2SO4 at solid/ liquid [m(g)/V(mL)] ratio of 1 : 5 at 80 ℃ for 24 h. An iron extraction efficiency of 94.60% was achieved in the same conditions for the maximum extraction efficiency of Al. The extraction efficiencies of Al and Fe increased with an increase in temperature, leaching time and acidity. The concentration of alumina and iron hydroxide in the final product was determined to be 99.12% and 92.20% respectively. The conditions of color reaction of Aluminium(III) with a new organic reagent 2,3,7-trihydroxy-9-[2,4-dihydroxy)phenylazo]
phenylfluorone (ARPF) in the presence of cetyltrimethyammonium bromide (CTMAB) were studied. It was found that Aluminium(III)
reacts with ARPF and CTMAB in pH 6.5 HAc-NaAc buffer solution to form a 1∶2 red complex with maximum absorption at 562 nm.
The molar absorptivity is 1.10×105 L·mol−1·cm−1. Beer’s law is obeyed in the range of 0–5.5 μg Al(III) per 25 mL. The method has been applied to determination of Aluminium
in the limestone with satisfactory results.

A novel advanced oxidation process——wet electrocatalytic oxidation (WEO) was studied with p-nitrophenol as model pollutant and β-PbO2 electrode as the anode. Compared with the effect of the individual wet air oxidation (WAO) and electrochemical oxidation (EO), the effect of WEO showed syn- ergistic effect on COD removal under the conditions of temperature 160℃, C=1000 mg·L-1, PN2=0.50 MPa, PO2=0.9 MPa, current density = 3 mA·cm-2, Na2SO4 3 g·L-1. And the synergistic factor got the best value of 0.98 within 120 min after 180 min treatment. The synergistic factor was studied after 120 min treatment at 100℃, 120℃, 140℃ and 160℃, and the effect of 120℃ was the best with the value of 1.26. Possible mechanism for the synergistic effect was discussed based on the analysis of free-radical generation and intermediates detected by HPLC and GC/MS. 相似文献

Field measurements of air-sea CO2 exchange in three coral reef areas of the South China Sea (i.e. the Yongshu Reef atoll of the Nansha Islands, southern South China Sea (SCS); Yongxing Island of Xisha Islands, north-central SCS; and Luhuitou Fringing Reef in Sanya of Hainan Island, northern SCS) during the summers of 2008 and 2009 revealed that both air and surface seawater partial pressures of CO2 (pCO2) showed regular diurnal cycles. Minimum values occurred in the evening and maximum values in the morning. Air pCO2 in each of the three study areas showed small diurnal variations, while large diurnal variations were ob-served in seawater pCO2. The diurnal variation amplitude of seawater pCO2 was ~70 μmol mol–1 at the Yongshu Reef lagoon, 420–619 μmol mol–1 on the Yongxing Island reef flat, and 264–579 μmol mol–1 on the reef flat of the Luhuitou Fringing Reef, and 324–492 μmol mol–1 in an adjacent area just outside of this fringing reef. With respect to spatial relations, there were large differences in air-sea CO2 flux across the South China Sea (e.g. ~0.4 mmol CO2 m–2 d–1 at Yongshu Reef, ~4.7 mmol CO2 m–2 d–1 at Yongxing Island, and ~9.8 mmol CO2 m–2 d–1 at Luhuitou Fringing Reef). However, these positive values suggest that coral reef ecosystems of the SCS may be a net source of CO2 to the atmosphere. Additional analyses indicated that diurnal variations of surface seawater pCO2 in the shallow water reef flat are controlled mainly by biological metabolic processes, while those of deeper water lagoons and outer reef areas are regulated by both biological metabolism and hydrodynamic factors. Unlike the open ocean, inorganic metabolism plays a significant role in influencing seawater pCO2 variations in coral reef ecosystems. 相似文献
