Zusammenfassung Funktionsdynamik von Gehirn-Norepinephrin (NE) in kastrierten und scheinkastrierten männlichen, geschlechtsreifen (C57Br/6J)-Mäusen wurde nach 13 Monaten Isolierung untersucht. Kastrierung bewirkt starken Abfall des ursprünglichen Niveaus und der Stoffwechselgeschwinddigkeit von NE.

Castration provokes a time-related decrease in weight, protein, beta-glucuronidase and glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase activity of seminal vesicles. A dose-dependent stimulation of these parameters is obtained with 5alpha-DHT. Cryproterone acetate counteracts the stimulatory effects due to androgen. Acid and alkaline phosphatases remain largely unaffected by these treatments. 相似文献

Zusammenfassung Die Bildung des Noradrenalins aus Tyrosin konnte im isolierten Kaninchenherzen nachgewiesen werden. Die Reaktion scheint für Tyrosin spezifisch zu sein. Aus Tyramin wurde kein Noradrenalin gebildet. Ebenfalls wurde die Umwandlung von Tyramin in Norsynephrin und von Dopamin in Noradrenalin nachgewiesen. 相似文献

Summary Plasma protein and tocopherol concentrations, haematocrit and 59-iron incorporation into erythrocytes have been measured in vitamin E-deficient and supplemented mice before and after exposure to 500 R of 260 kVp X-ray. Supplemented animals had greater haematocrit, plasma tocopherol and protein levels initially. After irradiation plasma tocopherol concentration decreased drastically in the vitamin E-supplemented mice. 相似文献

The rate of protein degradation was found to be increased in isolated soleus and extensor digitorum muscles of 60-80 g rats after exercise consisting of running for 120 min. These findings support the hypothesis that exercise causes an increase in skeletal muscle protein degradation, and that both red and white muscles are affected similarly. 相似文献

Summary Dietary lead (0.5%) was given to mice which, after mating, exhibited a vaginal plug. Estradiol, progesterone and prostaglandins E and F 2 were determined in, the plasma by radioimmuno assay at different times thereafter. The increase in estradiol and decrease in prostaglandins prior implantation are not greatly altered by lead treatment, whereas the subsequent increase in progesterone and later in estradiol is abolished. It is concluded that the lower number of pregnancies seen in lead-treated mothers is due to a maternal hormonal imbalance caused by lead.Supported by contract 038-74-7 ENV B of the E.C. Summary In dogs, selective insulin deficiency induced by simultaneous somatostatin and glucagon infusion does not alter the high rate of glucose utilization provoked by acute cold exposure. However, both in resting and in shivering dogs, lowering of plasma insulin decreases plasma glucose metabolic clearance significantly. 相似文献
