In rat embryo skeletal myotubes, acetylcholinesterase is present, as multiple forms, and can be detected in deposits at the cell surface. Myotubes cultured in the presence of beta-endorphin, exhibit an increased predominance of the globular (precursor) forms of the enzyme, which are largely restricted to intracellular sites associated with nuclei. In the presence of beta-endorphin-(1-27), the relative proportions of the different forms of acetylcholinesterase is similar to that seen in the controls, but the enzyme is intracellular and has a characteristic focal localisation in the myotube.  相似文献

The scanning electron microscope has shown rich ramifications of the parenchymal canaliculi forming a three-dimensional network of anastomosing intercellular spaces in the rat pineal gland. Every pineal cell seems to be in contact with this channel system. An abundance of cellular processes can be found within the canaliculi which may play an important role in the histophysiology of the pineal body.  相似文献

Zusammenfassung Katecholamin enthaltende Nervenfasern im Enddarm vonAstacus astacus (L.) werden mit Hilfe vonFalcks undHillarps spezifischer Fluoreszenzmethode gezeigt. Die Fasern, die eine grüne Fluoreszenz abgeben, wurden in Nervenplexen der zirkulären und der längsgehenden Muskelschichten des Darmes beobachtet. Es wird angenommen, dass diese Fluoreszenz durch Noradrenalin zustande kommt.

The effect os somatostatin (SS) and of its analogs D Trp 8-SS and Asn 5-SS was studied upon the external pancreatic secretion of the Rat after stimulation by 2 deoxy-D-glucose. The secretion of sodium and bicarbonate was similarly inhibited by all four peptides. The analog D Trp 8-SS was more effective in inhibiting pancreatic protein excretion.  相似文献

Zusammenfassung Im Ganglion ciliare normaler ausgewachsener Ratten werden elektronenmikroskopisch granulierte oder «dense core» Vesikula von etwa 900 bis 1200 Å Durchmesser festgestellt (in Nervenfasern, im Zytoplasma von Nervenzellen und in Präsynapsen). Reserpin (Serpasil®, Ciba) verursachte keine nennenswerte Änderung in Zahl oder Lokalisation der Vesikula, hingegen eine Abnahme ihrer Kerndichte.

Zusammenfassung Es wurden Gruppen von Blutzellen innerhalb und in der Umgebung der Hypophyse vonAnabas scandens und besonders in der Mesoadenohypophyse gefunden. Dies fällt auf, da die Mesoadenohypophyse im allgemeinen nicht reich mit Gefässen versorgt ist. Die Gefässversorgung dieser Stelle zeigt, dass das Sekret direkt von der Mesoadenohypophyse ins Blut übergeht, während die Anhäufung von Blutzellen in der Hypophyse pathologische sein dürfte.  相似文献

Summary After freezing and thawing of rat skin, degranulation and disappearance of mast cell fluorescence became apparent in the skin up to 1 h after thawing. Gradual disappearance of catecholamines from the adrenergic nerves of the injured area occurred during the 1st 24 h. Both mast cells and adrenergic nerves may play a role in tissue destruction after freezing injury.Supported by grants from the Research Foundation of Oy. This paper is concerned with time-series forecasting based on the linear regression model in the presence of AR(1) disturbances. The standard approach is to estimate the AR(1) parameter, ρ, and then construct forecasts assuming the estimated value is the true value. We introduce a new approach which can be viewed as a weighted average of predictions assuming different values of ρ. The weights are proportional to the marginal likelihood of ρ. A Monte Carlo experiment was conducted to compare the new method with five more conventional predictors. Its results suggest that the new approach has a distinct edge over existing procedures.  相似文献
