Summary Phenylephrine (0.1–100 M) in the presence of 1 M propranolol increased the force of contraction in electrically driven papillary muscles from cats. This presumably alpha-adrenoceptor mediated positive inotropic effect of phenylephrine occurred without any influence on (Na++K+-ATPase activity.This work was supported by the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft. 相似文献

Electrogenic Na+ pump currents during K+-activated hyperpolarizations of bullfrog atrium muscle fibres are increased by adrenaline. The log dose-response relation between these currents and activating K+ concentrations is expressed by a sigmoidal curve, which is shifted in parallel to the left by adrenaline. It is suggested that adrenaline increases the rate of Na+ extrusion without increasing the Na/K coupling ratio and total number of pumping sites. 相似文献

Summary With a suitable modification of the Farquhar and Palade technique the Na++K+-ATPase activity in guineapig thyroid is demonstrated. Summary The effects of La3+ and ruthenium red on the energy-linked uptake of Ca2+ mediated by a synthetic neutral Ca2+ ionophore have been investigated in rat liver mitochondria. The results indicate that unspecific surface charge effects do not play a major role in the mechanism of inhibition of mitochondrial Ca2+ transport by La3+ and ruthenium red.Acknowledgments.
