Structure of a genomic clone encoding biologically active human relaxin   总被引:3,自引:0,他引:3  
Relaxin is a peptide hormone synthesized in the corpora lutea of ovaries during pregnancy and is released into the blood stream prior to parturition. Its major biological effect is to remodel the mammalian reproductive tract to facilitate the birth process. Determination of the structure of human relaxin is thus a first step in opening up the possibility of clinical intervention in cases of difficult labour. However, the limited availability of human ovaries during pregnancy has prevented both direct amino acid sequence determination and isolation of cDNA clones obtained from relaxin producing tissue. Our approach has therefore been to screen directly for a human relaxin gene using an homologous porcine relaxin cDNA probe. We report here the successful identification of a genomic clone from which the structure of the entire coding region of a human preprorelaxin gene has been determined. Synthesis of biologically active relaxin has shown that the novel gene structure described herein codes for an authentic human relaxin. We believe this is the first successful synthesis of a biologically active hormone whose structure was predicted solely from the structure of a genomic clone.  相似文献

将山核桃树皮粉碎后用无水乙醇浸泡,乙醇浸出液用正己烷萃取后,制得正己烷提取物。正己烷提取物经柱层析分离后,用高压液相色谱分离得到了一种白色针状晶体化合物,经红外光谱,核磁共振光谱鉴定,推测该化合物为β-谷甾醇,其含量占正己烷提取物重量的0.36%。  相似文献

The glandular kallikrein gene family comprises 25-30 highly homologous genes that encode specific proteases involved in the processing of biologically active peptides. In the mouse all the members of this family are closely linked on chromosome 7. The 9.5-kilobase nucleotide sequence of a mouse genomic clone contains one complete kallikrein gene (mGK-1), which is expressed in the male mouse submaxillary gland, and the 3' end of another (mGK-2). Differences in the coding potential of these genes and the amino acid sequences of other known kallikreins seem to be functionally related to the substrate specificity of the different enzymes.  相似文献

 随着汽车排放标准的日益严格和汽车尾气净化技术的成熟应用,燃油蒸发在整车排放中的比例逐渐提高。碳罐是汽油车燃油蒸发控制的关键部件,其核心材料是汽油吸附用成型活性炭。碳罐技术要求成型活性炭具有高的比表面积、大的有效孔容(2~5 nm孔的孔容)和高强度,具有快速吸附和脱附汽油的性能。化学法和化学物理耦合的办法是制备高比表面和大孔容活性炭的有效途径,成型活化一体化是成型活性炭制备的发展趋势。本文综述碳罐用成型活性炭的性能要求、表征方法、制备技术及原理和在未来VOCs净化中的应用。  相似文献

文中对活性氧消毒剂的制备工艺及其对于空气的消毒效果进行了阐述,说明其制造工艺是一种原子经济反应,新型的环境友好化工过程,对白色念球菌(Pseudomonasaeruginosa)、金黄色葡萄球菌 (Sylococcusccureus)的杀菌效果均高达99.90%,通过相关的试验数据说明消毒剂的性能稳定,无毒,对皮肤无刺激性。  相似文献

基于ZnC12活化后获得的活性炭具有孔隙丰富、结构有序、高温下易于除去的特性,构建了用于制备纳米氧化铝粉体的活性炭微反应器,研究了微反应器内前驱颗粒的形成与生长过程,探讨了微反应器在粉体制备中所起的作用.研究发现:微反应器内可生成大量均匀分布在反应器壁上的球形前驱颗粒,这些颗粒被孔壁牢固吸附;粉体的煅烧转相温度与微反应器脱除同步,微反应器在煅烧过程中一直起到了限域的作用,有效防止了粉体的团聚,从而获得了颗粒尺寸分布均匀且分散性好的α-Al2O3粉体.  相似文献
