A Fuzzy Negotiation Model of E-commerce

We usually decide to accept or reject the offer based on the utility function in the traditional automatic negotiation of E-commerce so that we reject the offers whose utility is lower than a specified value. Here we evaluate the acceptability based on the fuzzy set theory and the membership function. Since different issues have different effect on the negotiators, we state the combined concession in the multi-issue negotiation for the negotiators. We put forward a more practical negotiation model than the traditional negotiation model and give an example of its application in E-commerce.

The Age Distribution Model and the Parity Progressive Model of Population and Their Equivalence

This paper proved that the integral form and the intero-differential form of the agestructured population equation(Lotka model) are equivalent, the integral form and the integrodifferential form of the parity prongressive population equation(Henry model)are equivalent. A New RCS Statistical Model of Radar Target

In this paper, the drawbacks of conventional target fluctuation models used in radar target modeling are set out. It is usually difficult to statistically model a real target because there are very few parameters which can be used to approximate the probability density function (PDF) of a real target's radar cross section (RCS) in conventional target models. A new method of statistical modeling is suggested, according to which the first nth central moment of real target's RCS, combined with the Legendre orthogonal polynomials, is used to reconstruct the PDF of the target's RCS. The relationship between the coefficients of the Legendre polynomials and the central moments of RCS are deduced mathematically. Through a practical computing example, the error-of-fit is shown as a function of the orders of Legendre coefficients.
