聚乙烯粉体粒径对静电放电点火的影响

摘    要:运用标准粉尘爆炸测试装置Hartmann管分别测试了聚乙烯粗料与经过筛分的聚乙烯粉尘的最小点火能量,通过将不同形式的静电放电能量与最小点火能量的测试结果进行比较,分析了聚乙烯粉体粒径对静电点火的影响.研究结果表明,聚乙烯粉体的最小点火能量和最大粒径近似成指数关系.对未经过筛分的原始粉尘,各种形式的静电均无法将其点燃;对粒径小于0.5 mm的聚乙烯粉体,可以排除电晕放电、刷形放电和堆表面放电作为点火源的可能性,火花放电和传播型刷形放电是可能的点火源,有效预防火花放电和传播型刷形放电便能阻止聚乙烯闪爆的发生.

Abstract:The MIE of the coarse polyethylene granule and screened polyethylene dust is tested with a standard dust explosion testing equipment of Hartmann tube.By comparing the tested MIE and different types of electrostatic discharge energy,the effects of polyethylene size on ignition of electrostatics discharge has been investigated.The results show that,the MIE of polyethylene has an exponential relationship with maximum particle size.All types of electrostatics discharge can't ignite the coarse polyethylene granule.For the polyethylene dust whose diameter is below 0.5 mm,electrostatics discharge of corona discharge, brush discharge and cone discharge are excluded from the ignition source.Sparks and propagation brush discharge are the possible ignition source.Preventing the occurrence of sparks and propagation brush discharge is effective measure to defend against the explosion of polyethylene.
