Farewell to Dystopia: the Theoretical Topic of Andrew Feenberg's Critical Theory of Technology

This paper unscrambles a main representative of the new generation of the Frankfurt school,Andrew Feenberg's Critical Theory of Technology's theoretical topic from three sides of the cause,the chance and the approach.The cause is the debate between H.Marcuse and J.Habermas about the issue concerning science and technology's social function in front and back of 1970 ages,the chance is the amalgamation between Frankfurt school's critical theory and the Social Construction's technology studying methods,and the approach is technical code's disconstruction and recontruction.Finally,the paper points out that the essence of this theory is to re-construct the criterions and institutions.
