| 摘 要： | 长夏是中医学中的独有概念,其发音与含义自古多有所不同,导致其英译也各有差异。通过对古今文献的分析与研究,认为长夏之长应读为zhǎng,而英文应译为later summer。

| Abstract: | “Later summer” is a unique concept in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM). Because of its different pronunciation and meaning, the English translation would be different too. Based on the research of terminology standardization of TCM, we analyze the ancient and current literatures and present the correct pronunciation and translation of “Later summer”. |
