| 摘 要： | 术语的准确翻译是我国《民法典》外译的基础。文章讨论了“民事权利”“所有权”“继承”“人格权”等代表性民事法概念的英译,结合其在《民法典》法律文本内的特定含义,指出翻译中术语的常见的不当现象,并提出可信的参考译法,尝试对《民法典》的英译原则做出新的探索,以期为规范法律翻译活动中的术语译名不统一现象和全面启动我国《民法典》外译事业提供思路。

| Abstract: | The accurate translation of legal term is the foundation of translating The Civil Code of the People s Republic of China.This article examines the English translation of the concept of civil right,title/ownership,and right of personality/right of personhood in The Civil Code.For the purpose to improve legal translation and facilitating the translation project of The Civil Code and its relevant research,this article offers some advice and new principles about the above-mentioned terms. |
