| Abstract: | There are at least 40 species of Anoectochilus in the world, and there are 20 species and 2 variants in China. Of all the species, A. roxburghii (Wall.) Lindl. and A. formosanus Hayata are the most important; they are both valuable ingredients of traditional Chinese medicine herb and treasures of indoor ornamental plants. This paper deals with the distribution, biological properties, morphological charateristics, ornamental value,medicine value and the research development of Anoectochilus. |
