Direction and content of China's innovation in geography education in the 21st century

The 21st century is witnessing a new trend of innovation in the world education. To hold an advantageous position in the intense international competition in th e century, China has to attach great importance to the new tendency in the refor m of international education and to the formulation of corresponding strategies in time. By analyzing the characteristics of contemporary educational in novation across the world and the prospects of geography education, and referrin g to China's "Facing the 21st Century Educational Vitalization Project", this thesis elaborates on the research in geography and its significance. It finally defines the direction and content of China's innovation in geography education in the 21st century.
