| Abstract: | This paper studies the affecting elements of climate, altitude and vegetation types working on lizard species diversity in Hexi desert of Gansu. It is concluded that climate, altitude and vegetation types are factors that determine the total number of lizard species in an area. There are more lizard species in areas of lower altitude, higher air temperature, less precipitation, more vegetation types, and longer growing season. |
