| Abstract: | In this paper, by using the method of poler reciprocal images, the author describes a confocal beam,a set of conic sections having a common focal point and a directrix, illustrating the changing pattern of conic section when the eccentricity changes. Thus the author discovers the relation of ellipse, hyperbola and parabola to each other. |
